Place was nicely furnished. Complete with all the basic amenities and more. The building also had a pool, gym and cinema which the guests can use. 3 mins from the Tolerance museum, 7 mins to La Ciudadela and 15 minutes walk to the Templo Mayor and Basilica. Plenty of food options as well as a grocery store near by.
Location was safe. Service by Bruce and the team was also very good. We could call them any time and they made sure that all our needs were taken care of.

We were very satisfied with Bruce's accommodations and especially liked the short walking tour with him as he pointed out places to market, eat and other things a new visitor may want to know. His focus on service and providing things at no extra cost (e.g. air mattress, bathing caps, loaner phone) were terrific. He also made himself available for calls, if needed. One of the best parts? He recommended the most excellent and reasonably priced tour guide, Ricardo, who took us to places we would have never found ourselves (e.g. home of Hernan Cortes). He, like Bruce, was punctual, caring and is a must - use if you are not familiar with Mexico City.

Right at the descent of the plane, Bruce, the owner of the apt., was waiting for us and made our visit of Mexico city very easy. He spent a good 2 hours making us acquainted with the building and the apartment itself. He was also kind enough to take us around in the neighbourhood. The apt. is fully equipped, located in a very safe neighbourhood and near all the major attractions of the city. Provided with a cell phone by the owner, we were able to reach him at all time. We felt very safe and spent a marvelous week.

The condo is perfect. Excellent, safe and clean location. We had parking which was fantastic easy to get in and out. Bruce is wonderful and made us feel comfortable, providing us with cell phone to get in touch with him 24/7. He was always available for anything we needed. We asked to stay longer at his place but is was booked so he helped us find a hotel close by but we loved his place and it made us feel like we were home. The wifi is excellent for business. The kitchen had everything and we made a lot of meals there. The beds were great and very comfortable. The bathrooms/showers were nice and big. We loved everything about these wonderful vacation rentals plus Bruce is an excellent owner/host. Thank you Bruce for making our vacation to Mexico City the best!!! We definitely recommend you and your condo.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay at Bruce Condo in the center of Mexico City. From the time of our complimentary pickup at the airport, Bruce was excellent in helping out with any thing he could from suggesting places to eat to helping out with Troubles we were having with the Bank Machine(ATM). The view of the City was amazing and being centrally located in the heart of the downtown we were able to walk to several locations right around the area. Bruce offered the use of a cell phone as part of our rental which was invaluable to us, as we were there primary for my sons wedding so had to be in contact with them regularly for appointments and such. This was ideal for the 5 of us and I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to travel and see the local history of Mexico city. many of the top 10 attractions are within easy walking distance. Bruce was also able to provide us with a driver to take us to those areas to far to walk to. Ricardo was excellent spoke very good English and was very reasonable priced. The tour to Teotihuacan was -- with the exception of the wedding -- was a highlight of our trip with Ricardo as our driver and guide we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying with Bruce, You will not be disappointed. I know we will diffently being staying there again when we return to Mexico city

Our stay began by being welcomed at the airport by the owner and being driven to the apartment. Our first impression as we walked in the door of the apartment was terrific. The view from the living room and then onto the terrace is panoramic. The apartment had all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable- comfortable beds, plenty of towels, air conditioning, and overhead fans. The owner gave us a cell phone for local calls so we always had a point of contact, which was great. The security at the apartment building gives a real feeling of safety. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from wonderful parks and museums. The National Palace, Zocalo, cathedral, and pyramid ruins are also within walking distance. A wide variety of restaurants are just outside the front door of the apartment building, as well as, others within walking distance. A grocery store is just down the street and another grocery store with a wider selection of items is within walking distance. Our return trip to the airport was provided by the owner. Providing pick-up and drop-off services to the airport was a wonderful and thoughtful touch by the owner. We are hoping to return for another wonderful stay at this apartment next year!

We recently stayed at Bruce Pierce's condo in Mexico City and were very satisfied with both the facility and his overall service. He picked us up at the airport, gave us a good idea of where to go for food and services in the neighborhood He was quick to replace a burned out light bulb and was one of the best short term landlords I've ever had. The building is great with a work out room, indoor pool and outdoor running track. And the condo, while compact, has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a small but complete kithchen with dishwasher and washer, dryer. There's a nice deck with a great view of the volcanos if it's not too smoggy. Overall, it's a great place and great value. The doorstaff was very helpful and it's an easy walk to alameda Park and the Zocalo. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a big supermarket in walking distance.

Our party of four had a great time in Mexico City, thanks to Bruce and his great apartment. It was great to have Bruce meet our party at the airport after an all-night flight. The location was superb -- we walked to everything: Alameda Park, Bellas artes, the Zocalo, the metro. The building is very secure and the area is interesting. Restaurants were steps away. Beds were excellent; firm, with luxury linens. Apartment is compact and well designed. View from the balcony goes straight to the volcanoes!

we really enjoyed our stay. what i liked most was the location; it is located near Bellas artes, 2 metro stations, Alameda Park and you can even walk to the zocalo. There are many good places to eat in the area, and it feels safe too, even at night. the condo has everything you can possibly need at your disposal. the loaner cell phone comes in handy. Thank you Bruce for your kindness and hospitality, we look forward to staying there again.

My husband and I have recently returned from a 6 night stay at Bruce's condo. Everything was as promised - an airport pickup, a cell phone to use while there, a full-sized washer and dryer, a dishwasher, a George Foreman grill...what more could I ask for?? The location is perfect, near Bellas artes, Alameda Central, several restaurants and bakeries, and a metro stop.
I have to say that we did not find the area noisy at night at all, as did a previous reviewer. There was a barking rooftop dog across the street, but he (thankfully) stopped around 10 pm.
I would not necessarily describe the condo as "luxury" or "plush", but if you're looking for a place to stay in a great location, with great amenities, and excellent service, then look no further. Read more
Thank you for comments Beth. Having great people like you and Steve makes putting in the extra effort for my guests all the worth wild! I hope you will visit Mexico City again someday soon!

2 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for our 2 week stay with a 7 year old. Beds are comfortable, location is great (1 block from Juarez metro stop). Apartment is clean and well stocked. View is amazing, and there's a little patio to sit and enjoy it from. Showers are hot and strong, though we found that we couldn't run them both at the same time. Internet access worked unfailingly. Maps and guidebooks were available. The area is noisy at night, and somehow the sound seems amplified on the 12th floor. Earplugs are a necessity even if you aren't a light sleeper.
Bruce (the owner) was gone for the beginning of our stay, and we didn't get all the instructions we needed to operate the TV, dishwasher, etc (they are not obvious), or where to find the pool and garbage. The apartment wasn't stocked with toilet paper when we arrived either (there is a 7-11 on the corner for such emergencies), but I expect that that was unusual, and just a result of Bruce's absence.
We were met at the airport by the friendly Ricardo who made traveling to the apartment a delight. We used him again for a short day trip and found him full of information and helpful suggestions. Not sure how soon we'll be back in Mexico City, but we would stay there again in a heartbeat, and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning a trip. Read more
Thanks Susan for taking the time to send in your comments. I am glad you enjoyed the apartment. I appreciate your comments and as such will definitely leave better instructions / check list with my assistant regarding orienting the guests at the time of check-in when I am out of town. I have personally greeted the guest at the airport about 95% of the time. I am always looking for way to improve the comfort and the service provides my guests. The apartment is downtown in the center of the city and the area is really happening in August which would probably account for the nights being a little more buzzing than normal.

We stayed 3 nights in this apartment with our daughters (13 and 15 years old) and really enjoyed it. It is very convenient located, next to the Museo del arte Popular, close to the metro and the historic center. We especially appreciated the swimming pool after one day visiting and walking through the city. With children it is very nice to have a small kitchen and 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Bruce offers a complimenatary pick up at the airport which is very nice. thanks!

We rented this property for eight nights while we (two adults one child) were vacationing in Mexico City. This two bedroom property is in a modern building right next to the historic center of the city. Bruce, the owner, really went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible; airport pickups & drop offs; a cell phone to use during our stay. He also put us in touch with a knowledgeable, English speaking driver who was able to provide excursions around and outside the city at very reasonable cost (definitely cost effective if there are a few of you) . Overall full marks - would recommend this without hesitation.

Bruce, the apartment owner, was waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. We were driven to the apartment and provided a local phone, keys to the secure building and codes for internet, etc.
We have family in the same apartment complex, so this was a perfect location for us to gather for family meals. The kitchen was easy to use and equipped with everything necessary to cook during our stay - including a dish washer.
There are a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, vendors and markets nearby for meals and snacks. I highly recommend the Spa next door for a relaxing Mani/Pedi.
Because our visit was to spend time with family, we did not take advantage of the services of the driver available at a very reasonable rate. Next time we visit, we will plan to take a tour.
Bruce has thought of everything from a full-size washer and dryer, down to the lighted magnifying makeup mirror and hairdryer. Since we have family living in DF, we did not need to contact the owner, however he was available if needed.
This was our 3rd trip to Mexico City, there is so much so see and do. We stayed in a 5 star hotel for our first two visits where internet was not included with the room and we incurred additional cell phone charges for phone calls. Having a local phone was a huge plus for us. We will definitely contact Bruce for future trips.

The only thing that exceeds the quality of this condo is the owner, Bruce Pierce. Now, when you think of this condo don't think of a plush 2 bedroom 2 bath high rise condominium. It is not that. It is small. But, it is much larger than any hotel room you would find for double the money.
As we all know, it's great to have two bathrooms in the morning or when you are getting ready to go out for the evening. It's nice to watch television (English speaking channels) in a space other than your bedroom. It's great to be able to watch a DVD one evening, if you brought one with you. Leisurely morning coffee and checking your email with an "excellent” wi-fi connection is a great way to start the day. A wall safe also adds a degree of comfort for the jittery ones. All of this is available at Bruce's condo.
But, as nice as the condo is, Bruce is nicer. He met us at the airport, provided a cell phone for our use (would suggest you have him add 100 pesos worth of time from the start), and took us on a short orientation tour of part of the historico area. He would call to check on our needs and was always available, if we had a question. His maid cleans twice a week while you are out and about. Bruce even recommends a driver/guide, Ricardo Ramirez, who speaks excellent English and knows his Mexico history.
We could highly recommend both the condo and Bruce on your next trip to México City.

This apartment really made our trip - comfortable beds, all the necessities, luxury feel, safe and secure. We were traveling with a small child, so safety and comfort were at the top of our list of priorities. The neighborhood was fantastic. The apartment is right in the middle of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, you name it. We were able to walk around (even at night, and even with no Spanish-speaking skills), totally at ease. The bakery on the corner was great. The views from the balcony were spectacular. The owner helped us to arrange a driver for the duration of our stay. I can't say enough about the benefits this provided. We always felt safe and were able to enjoy ourselves fully. I will definitely book this apartment for our family on our next trip to Mexico City.

Ok, so technically I did not rent Bruce's place, that thing called work got in the way. I must say however, the way Bruce treated me throughout the process was almost magical. I was going to rent for 1 month, so while I was in Mexico City, I contacted Bruce and asked if I could see the place, assuming it was not currently occupied. He gladly obliged as the next day the previous people renting were on their way out. Bruce (and Ricardo, the best driver ever!) picked me up from my hotel, greeted me with a smile, and both of them spoke fluent English (and of course Spanish)! We talked as we drove to the apartment. Bruce and Ricardo were both full of fun facts about everything we were passing, until we finally arrived at the apartment. The apartment was exactly what I was looking for, not something too big, but enough room to get around in, and 2 nice size beds. The view from the balcony was extraordinary, and the amenities pretty top notch! Upon rummaging through the kitchen and mentioning to Bruce I love to cook, he stated "whatever I needed, let him know". To my surprise when I said a food processor, he said "no problem, I'll bring one back next week from the states as I'm going to visit my sister"...the key thing was he did this without hesitation...Talk about genuine service!
Bottom line is, no I didn't get to rent the apartment, but after meeting Bruce, I will look no where else when I am ready to make that move.

I can't wait to stay here again. Bruce is amazing. We arrived 13 hours late with lost luggage, and Bruce was absolutely tremendous in helping us solve our problems. The apartment itself is luxurious. The rooms are big, and the amenities like washer/dryer, dishwasher, and internet all make it feel like home. There's the added bonus of a gym--which was great for working off the pounds of the fantastic Mexican cuisine. The neighborhood is safe and completely accessible to restaurants, grocery stores, and museums; and the nearest metro stop is one block away. Great experience, great apartment, great host. See you soon, Bruce!

Pros: Great location, amazing views of Mexico City lights at night. This condo was well appointed with maid service twice per week. The kitchen was great - I cooked every day I was there. The bed was comfy. Sheets and towels soft and the bathroom was very pretty. Most of all the owner was amazingly accommodating. I cannot say enough about his customer service - excellent. Up to date appliances. The water in the fridge door is filtered three times before it comes out. Tastes great and no tummy upset. The gym was great as well and it is on property.
Cons: No central/heat/air which for me was fine. There was an aC unit for the bedroom. It was only a tad warm in the late afternoon. As soon as the sun went down it was very cool. The lighting in the bathroom is not good for putting on your make-up (girl-thing). I had to put it on by the patio light each morning with a handheld mirror.
Overall: I will rent this unit again anytime I am working in Mexico city again. I was there for two weeks working on a project and it was a perfect home away from home.

Or host could not do enough for us on this trip, from arranging airport pickup for all five of us and baggage, giving us a phone to use while there, connecting us to wifi and helping us locate supermarket, phone shop for our onward journey, a driver each day, and being on call for any other enquiries.
The place itself was well appointed, even with a laundry. It was on the small side for a family of five but 2 bathrooms were a gratefully received luxury! We loved the views from the balcony, and the fact you could pop downstairs and walk easily to the park or a bit further to the zocalo and historic centre. Most of all the views from the 12th floor balcony were great and gave you a memorable perspective of the city. Compared to a four star hotel, the prices were very competitive and being able to eat any meals yo iked at home helped bring costs down even more, if there are five of you!

The apartment was in excellent condition, well-laid-out with all the items you look for in a first-class hotel. The towels were excellent, the beds, comfortable, and the kitchen was small but was perfect for cooking and storing food and drinks. The location was great - a walk to the Zocalo and the cathedral was about 10 minutes, and shopping was available everywhere. An artesans' market is down the street, where I got gifts for my friends, and there were excellent restaurants nearby. I also took the subway one time, which was about 2 or 3 blocks away. I enjoyed my stay here a lot! I'm sure I'll be back next time I go to Mexico City!
