227124horrendous and misleading vacation rental

I booked this accommodation for a 3 week holiday based off this picture, as the other review wasn’t on flip key when I booked, worse mistake of my life.I’ll start with the positives, as there is not many of them:
1) Harding ave is parallel to Collins ave and the beach
2) on street free parking(but once people come in from work no one moves!)
3) bus stop near by which takes you to South Beach in around 30 mins.
Now the bad; we arrived about 10pm to find the accommodation had been triple booked. the apartment was a flea pit. Dark, stank of dogs, cockroaches everywhere and the mattress was urine stained!When bedding was given to us it had numerous cigarette burns in them. We phoned Cary Weiss, who we had signed the rental agreement with, and he was a rude ignorant man who had no apologies at all. The pictures are not just misleading I believe they are taken from Cary Weiss house cause it certainly isn’t 8430 Harding ave!! There was 1 pot, 1 pan and 2 plastic cups not that id use them after the cockroaches have ran all over them. The a/C was Noisey and kept cutting out and me and my mother got numerous flea bites in the short time we were there. Needless to say we did found alternative accommodation swiftyly. I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of booking this don’t waste your hard earned money. Use a established website where they offer rental protection, if possible rent accommodation recommended by a friend or family member. -

The pictures are misleading. The manager never showed up at all with the key. One of the tenants who lived in the building showed us the unit. The unit we were shown was in the process of being upgraded, but was nowhere near finished. There were no drapes on the windows, the bed looked awful with no blankets, no kitchen dishes or utensils, in fact, there were no amenities at all. We left and requested our down payment be returned. Don't be misled by the pictures on this site as we were told by the tenant that they are of a unit that is not available.
