This is the larger 1200 square feet with 20 foot balcony ( as opposed to other smaller apartments at the Alexander which are converted 1 bedrooms into 2 bedrooms and only 900 square feet and have 8 foot balconies). This magnificent apartment has southern exposure meaning apartment and balcony gets sun all day and you have direct ocean and beach front views, has 2 large bedrooms and 2 full bathroom, a full kitchen with all modern appliances and cookware and serving utensils, a large living room and dining area, well maintained and decorated. Located 20 minutes from Miami International Airport and 35 minutes from Ft Lauderdale. Located directly on the beach and less than a 10 minute walk to famous hotels such as Fontainebleau and Eden Roc and a 15 minute walk to Arthur Godfrey Road for all food shopping. The resort is located 2 miles from South Beach to the South and 2 miles to Bal Harbor shops to the North. Taxi’s are always available and there are City buses up and down Collins Avenue.

If booking between 60 and 90 days 50% deposit required and a 2 night non-refundable cancellation fee attaches when cancelling more than 60 days but less than 90 days. Total bill must be paid 30 Days prior to arrival and all amounts paid is non-refundable if cancellation is 30 days or less from arrival date.

We arrived with 2 little kids on a Saturday morning to spend our vacation (8 days) in Miami Beach. Even though the apartment looked OK and was pretty clean, we had one of the worst vacations ever.
We found out right away that 2 (out of 2) showers where not working and we only got them fixed by Monday afternoon because "It was weekend”. When trying to use the dishwasher ... guess what? ...out of order ... and that never got fixed because "It was an expensive part that needed replaced, the motherboard”! So, with two little kids, we had to do dishes by hand the whole vacation. Not fun!!!
You think that's all? No, no, no... We got the internet and cable cut off because the owner did not pay the bill! Luckily these were connected back second day.
Yes, we had electricity the whole period...and the refrigerator was working fine...
We strongly recommend to book hotel units if you really like this building because there is always somebody around in case something happens (owners aren't) plus, the 2 or 3 hotel-units we've seen looked better than the apartment we rented. Hotel personal was very friendly and helpful, but they could only do so much.
