The Alexander Hotel is located just 20 minutes from Miami International Airport and 35 minutes from Ft Lauderdale. Located directly on the beach with 2 beautiful fresh water swimming pools this resort offers a great getaway. Since it is a condo Hotel, services such as room service, outdoor and indoor restaurant on premises. A 10 minute walk to famous hotels such as Fontainebleau and Eden Roc and a 20 minute walk to Lincoln Road for all food and shopping. The resort is located 2 miles from South Beach. Taxi’s are always available and there are City buses up and down Collins Avenue.

  Watch out for additional charges

  You think you got a good deal but watch out for additional charges.
  
  The check-in and check-out process is 100% self-service. They will provide a code for you to enter the apartment and you just walk out from the unit upon check-out. We follow all the instructions given and what happen is 3 days later we received an email saying that we damage the wall because we kept the balcony door open.
  
  We notice this damage the first thing we enter the apartment and never border to report.
  
  We have small kids and we always make sure that we have the door closed. I am not sure how many people will know that not closing the balcony door will cause damage on the wall which is like 30 feet away.
  
  Bottom line is, you were charge for some damage that you never know you did it and you were informed 3 days later.
  
  The internet connection is sporadic and not useable most of the time.
  
  I advise you to make sure everything in this suite is in its perfect condition when you first enter into this unit. Report any damages that you could see.
