Conveniently located between South Beach and Bal Harbour, two blocks to the beach, this apartment provides the traveler the convenience of having a fully furnished apartment with kitchen, for the price of a hotel room. Great for a family, a group of friends, or a business traveler. The bus stop is across the street, and banks, markets, drugstores, tennis court, and restaurants are at a walking distance.

A good place to stay on a budget

We stayed here 3 nights after a cruise and although it wasn't perfect it was a comfortable stay.
It needs re decorating but the owners were half way through some renovations as on the 2nd night the builders upstairs came through the roof in the bathroom.
The owners were very good just moved us to another apartment that was 2 doors away.
It was a clean friendly place, spacious rooms with TV, Hairdryer, Iron and a/C
Equipped kitchen enabled us to cook a meal after eating so much junk food.
Good location the beach is minutes away and shops, banks, ATM etc
Definitely worth a visit and value for money - they just need a swimming pool. -

Really enjoyed staying at Sorrento Villas. Parking was easy, location was great, safe neighborhood. All of the staff was super friendly as well. If i ever come back to Miami, Sorrento Villas is definitely my first choice for a place to stay.

I stayed here for three days in February. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend Sorrento Villas to anyone staying in the Miami Beach area. The room was very great- large with lots of windows and very nicely decorated. The location is a bonus, it is only one block to the beach and near lots of shopping and restaurants. It is a small family owned complex, and the owner and manager couldn't be more courteous and accommodating. The building also has a really nice courtyard garden area.

We stayed at the Sorrento Villas for 2 weeks and I liked
the small apartment. The only issue I had
was that at the first night it rained inside, that was a little scary.
But overall, the owners (the husband and wife) were very friendly!
Get a room upstairs and everything will be fine! -

I have been a longtime fan of the North Beach neighborhood that has a very cool vibe, is friendly, safe and -very important- one of the best uncrowded beaches in Miami Beach. I stumbeled on Sorrento Villas when looking for a place to stay during a busy season in Miami and I was able to book a one bedroom apartment on the second floor at a very reasonable rate. The staff is extremely friendly and treats you as a friend and I am glad to have been able to return to Sorrento Villas for a second time this March. The apartments are well laid out with basic facilities. Bathroom is a classic art deco design with incredible water pressure. Sorrento Villas is an older building (an art deco monument) and I understand this comes with some slight cleaning and maintenance issues but this has in no way influenced the enjoyment of staying here. Being with a friend we requested a single bed to be put in the living room and this bed was as comfortable as the large bed in the bedroom. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony both in front as well as the back. Sorrento Villas is the perfect place to stay in North Beach, I highly recommend it.

estuvimos con mi esposo 1 semana en sorrento villas. Maravilloso el trato, la ubicacion y todo en general. relacion costo /beneficio muy optima.
sin lugar a dudas volveria a este lugar.
tiene 5 plazas de parking que te solucionan la vida, nosotros siempre teniamos lugar per claro fuimos en temporada baja. -

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato 2 giorni in questa struttura costituita da appartamenti. La nostra opinione è molto buona. L' accoglienza è stata ottima da parte dello staff che parla bene l'italiano ed è sempre stato presente e disponibile.
La struttura è un po' vecchiotta (andrebbe ristrutturata un po'!!) ma semplice, pulita ed accogliente. Si trova in North-Beach (zona molto tranquilla) a 2 passi dalla Collins avenue. La fermata dell'autobus è di fronte all'hotel. Noi non avevamo l'auto ma il parcheggio non mi sembrava un problema nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo sempre usato i mezzi pubblici funzionanti alla perfezione. In 20 minuti di bus si raggiunge South Beach ed in 30 Downtown. Ci sono negozi, bar,ristoranti,banche e supermercati nelle vicinanze; la spiaggia e l'Oceano sono praticamente di fronte. Abbiamo apprezzato la presenza di wi-fi gratuito. Personalmente penso sia un buon compromesso per chi non pretende il lusso ma un buon livello di confort. Muy linda estadÃa en Miami, la ubicación del complejo Sorrento es inmejorable muy cerca de todo y a la vez muy tranquilo…A solo dos cuadras de la playa. Y a pocos minutos de los principales Malls y atracciones de la ciudad.
Los departamentos son lindos limpios y bien equipados. Tienen estacionamiento gratuito y puedes tomar sombrillas sillas y toallas para la playa gratis también.
Sus dueños Diana y Juan carlos son muy agradables y serviciales, ellos están ahà todo el dÃa y cualquier cosa que necesites ellos la solucionan en breve, además de darte muchos consejos de que hacer, donde ir y como pasarla genial en Miami.
Recomiendo Sorrento siempre!!! -

Me and my 2 girlfriends stayed here a few weeks ago. It was a little small, but we expected that. The price was perfect. If your staying with 3 people I would recommend a bigger place but it was fine. Comes with all the basics and they have towels, linens, beach towels. The inside was spotless and has been maintained well. The owners are very nice. Parking usually wasnt a problem.
As for the area it was about 20 minutes away from South Miami and about an hour from Fort Lauderdale. I didnt feel that comfortable walking around that are at night time at all, but during the day it was fine. Spent most of my time in Fort Lauderdale though. But this building was perfect. -

We stayed at Sorrento Villas for three nights in March, 2012. The efficiency apartments are spotlessly clean and very comfortable with separate living/dining/kitchen and bed rooms; flat screen TVs in each room. The beds are quite comfortable. The kitchen area has a full size refrigerator, a four-burner gas stove with an oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a (reasonably) full set of dishes and cookware. The table seats four. You could readily cook and eat full meals here, though we just made breakfasts and lunch. Even so, that saves a lot over going out. They also have a (coin operated) washer and dryer on the premises, saving trips to the laundromat. All of this for $90 per night.
The location is very good, though not at all chic. It is two blocks from a very nice, lifeguarded sand beach that stretches north and south farther than we could walk. Sorrento Villas has a supply of beach chairs and beach umbrellas that are left out for the guests' taking and they will give you beach towels. These are essential for a good day at the beach and you don't have to buy your own. (Even though by midday the best chairs and umbrellas are gone, there still should be some you can use.)
It is also one block from Collins avenue. On this two-block stretch are several reasonable to good (one good Cuban) restaurants, three large drug stores, a liquor store, and a reasonable food market with good prepared foods. There is not much you could want that you can't get on this stretch. And if you want to go to South Beach, that much more hip area, there is a bus directly there.
Their small parking lot is often full, but nearby street parking is free, plentiful and safe.
If you want luxury, daily maid service, full hotel amenities, look elsewhere. But if you want a cheap, clean, comfortable, convenient (inadvertent alliteration, but it works) place to stay in Miami Beach to enjoy the climate, the beach, and the city, Sorrento Villas is for you. -

My Wife and I had a wonderful time here at the Sorrento Villas!
Diana and her Husband are such wonderful hosts, and were flexible with our dates to stay there. This allowed us to drive to the Keys and come back up to spend the remaining time at her place and enjoy Miami! We were treated like family from the start. We will come back to Miami and we will be staying with our new "family" at Sorrento Villas, that is for sure!
This is a wonderful location in North Miami Beach and close to South Beach. The place was nicely appointed. Full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bath. Very clean and water pressure was great! Parking area does fill up, but street parking is free. The beach is two blocks away and easy to catch public transportation. It was quiet and private and safe. My wife stayed at the condo while I went out overnight with a Miami Buddy of mine and she felt very safe! -

The people here are really friendly, helpful and accomodating. The place was really cute and bigger than expected. The price was affordable and the location was perfect. 2 blocks from the beach and easy to catch public transportation. It was very quiet and private and safe. My suggestions are to upgrade the stove and bathroom. Provide extra towels and toilet paper or refill daily. A list of local important phone numbers, tv channels, and the internet code should be provided. We had an unfortunate encounter with a large insect inside the property. However, I believe it came from outside via the large space between the door and floor, which I strongly suggest they get covered. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location in North Miami Beach, close to Bal Harbour as well as South Beach. Condo was nicely appointed. Full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bath. Clean unit. Water pressure was a bit low, but it was fine to deal with for the 2 days we were there. Parking area does fill up, but street parking is free. There are usually spaces catercorner to the condo area, didn't usually take more than 2 passes around to find a spot. Right up the street from The New Hotel which has a great happy hour from 6-8 as well as good food. Would stay again for the price.
