This stone built mid-terraced cottage is located in the village of Middleton in Teesdale and can sleep five people in three bedrooms. 2 The Mews is a stone built mid-terraced cottage in a sheltered courtyard to the rear of one of the oldest coaching inns in Middleton, close to Barnard Castle in Teesdale. With three bedrooms (one double, one twin and a single) as well as a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep five people. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Peter and myself stayed at this lovely quite and comfortable cottage the owners were very friendly and helpful,they had put a few grocery items in the cottage for us .
The cottage was very clean and cheerful .It is dog friendly providing you make sure that your animals do not do any damage you will get your deposit that you are asked for the dogs back.
The area around is lovely and there are many walks around the area.the cottage is in the courtyard of the teesdale hotel which do very lovely good value for money meals.
We would stay there again. -

A lovely little cottage with so much thought gone into the little touches provided. Homely and welcoming. Lovely and quiet and the location, close to walks and the waterfall etc is awesome.
The little portable tv was a bit of a let down but we soon got used to it. Garden? This is why I graded it a four star. If the shared borders and a table in the car park are the garden then I'd say that was pushing it. Otherwise I failed to find a garden.
It was clean throughout with nicely laundered bedding and towels. I thought I more than got what I'd paid for. -

It was a nice house, we enjoyed it. We made nice walks. Our child and her friend, they were happy when we made some trips to a city, but for us, we were satisfied with the countryside.
But everyone was positive about the stay. -

Three of us stayed in this lovely cottage with my dog. The place was cosy and
the location was a real treat. We love the Yorkshire Dales and felt that this
place resembled that, but with less people. We found many beautiful walks
and would love to return to this spot in the future.
