All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We fell in love with the "Time stood still", friendly, beautiful, village, Middleton in Teesdale, while enjoying this townhouse accross from the town square. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The fire place was supplied with wood and coal. Bathroom on ground level and second level. Owners are delightful. Beds are very comfortable. Towels large, plentiful and soft. Many little extras. Shopping, pubs, grocery, butcher, hotel, book shop, tourist shop, churches, plus marvelous fish and chips shop all in 2 minutes walk. The Pub cafe 1618 has wonderful food and friendliness. Spectacular views from all windows of county Durham. Enjoy!

A spacious cottage ideally situated in the centre of Middleton in Teesdale. An excellent Coop is close by. It was very comfortable and clean. Thought had been given to welcoming touches and extras which were much appreciated. The owner called to ensure that we had no problems and was very helpful. Superb walking location in a friendly village. No Mobile phone reception with Tesco and intermittent with Vodaphone.

Sammy's House really was an excellent choice - spacious, comfortable, clean and with all 'mod cons'. There was a welcome 'pack' when we arrived and the owner popped in to offer uptodate advice on village activities. (It was the Carnival weekend). The village is well positioned for walks and sight- seeing, even the rain did not stop us having a most enjoyable few days! We would certainly revisit this property.

The Cottage was well set out with all the little bits and pieces you would find at home. Very comfortable and welcoming. The boys enjoyed playing in the garden and having the freedom to go to the shops on their own. We had plenty of time to ourselves so relaxed.

We recently stayed at Sammy's house as part of a walking holiday in the Pennines. The accomodation was exactly as pictured in the photos - only better! The accomodation was extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable, and had pretty much all the amenities that we needed - well, except that they had malt vinegar and salt in the flat but no pepper! The flat is situated right in the middle of town, right across from the Coop and the news agent, which made it extremely convienient for food, newspapers, and phone topups although if you use Orange the reception is almost non-existant. Apparently vodofone is much better in this area. There are a couple of restaurants down the street, and a chip shop. We had a great view looking out the back of the flat, and the River Tees is a 1/2 block away with many lovely walks right from the back (or front) door. For a spectular drive take the road to Stanhope from MIT, it is an area of outstanding natural beauty - truly! We would gladly recommend this property to anyone interested in a holiday in the Pennines. Thanks Richard!
