'Bass Rocks Upper Deck' is located in a large historic carriage house. This three-level apartment is private and unique. There are two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king bed with a private bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub. The other bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a second bathroom with shower. There is a loft with a convertible sofa which lays flat into a 48" x 73" bed. There is an additional small cot. This is one of the best locations in the Northeast. We are only 800 feet from Sachuest Beach, also known as Second Beach, featuring some of the best surfing on the East Coast. The more than a mile long beach is perfect for sun bathing and all kinds of fun in the sun including kayaking, fishing and boating. Newport with its fantastic shopping, night life and restaurants is only a five-minute drive or a short bike ride away.

My family and I stayed for a weekend in this wonderfully comfortable apartment. The owner's attention to detail was second to none. Everything that we needed to make our weekend restful and enjoyable was there. The apartment is around the corner from the beach and a beautiful Wildlife Preserve. Bring your bikes and hiking shoes, pack a picnic and you're ready for a great get away.
We hope to return to this very unique apartment in the near future.
