PENTHOUSE APARTMENT with superb sea views.

Just a short stroll from the centre of the village and close to all amenities, the apartment is light, bright and comfortably furnished. As soon as you enter, you are struck by the superb sea views it enjoys and you are immediately drawn out onto its 35 M2 terrace.

The American style kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, ceramic hob, electric oven, and dishwasher. The property benefits from SKY free to air channels on a flat screen television. As there is ducted hot/cold air conditioning throughout the apartment it is an excellent choice for both s...ummer and winter lets.

Both the lounge and bedroom have patio doors leading out onto the terrace. From the terrace the views are over the pool, to the Mijas church, the coastline and the sea, and they are simply stunning. At night you can watch the lights twinkling in Fuengirola Port. Please note that the apartment is on the upper floor and as there is no lift access it is unsuitable for clients who are unable to manage stairs. For clients who have hired a car it may be possible to arrange parking in the underground garage.

This is a very comfortable apartment and is very well maintained, in addition to being quiet.

* EasyJet or RyanAir offer cheap flights from most UK airports into Malaga.

* You can take a Taxi at Malaga airport to Mijas, but it can be a little expensive almost the same as renting a car for a week.

* You can take a train from the Airport to Fuengirola, and a taxi or a bus from Fuengirola in to Mijas Golf.

* Car rental at Malaga airport may be a nice and cheap option. At (website: hidden) you can rent a car from just 160 € a week.

Mijas is one of the most picturesque white villages in the Costa del Sol with its cobble stoned narrow streets and pretty squares. As you meander along its streets you will hear the clip clop of horses hooves and bells as horse drawn carriages sweep past you, the horses cantering along. Another familiar sight is of tourists riding donkeys (El burro taxi)- This spectacular mountain village draws tourists to it like a magnet, and little wonder as it nestles into a backdrop of mountains with its panoramic views over the countryside and to the Mediterranean sea beyond. There are white washed traditional houses, their balconies spilling over with pots of red geraniums. and street vendors selling hot sugared almonds all adding to the sights of this bustling mountain village.



Just a short drive from Malaga Airport, Mijas has a timeless quality about it, and despite the large number of tourists who regularly visit it, retains its Spanish essence and character. For this reason it is sought out as an exclusive holiday destination, and also by those who decide to live here on a permanent basis. Shrine Virgen of the Rock: The Shrine holds the image of the patroness of Mijas, the Virgin of the Rock. Legend has it that the image of the Virgin was hidden during 5 centuries and was found in 1586 by the father of two shepherd boys who were led to the hiding place by a dove.

"El Carromato de Max": A museum of miniatures, one of the most important of its kind with works from over 50 countries.

The Casa Museo: Established in 1995 the Museum reproduces a traditional village house and informs you of local traditions.

Church Inmaculada Concepcion: Built in 1541 on the site of an ancient Moorish castle, one of the castle towers was used as a bell tower. A series of frescos of the Apostles date back to approximately 1632.

Fortress walls: La Ruta del Botanica The remnants of the fortress that used to protect the village with its pretty gardens and spectacular view point.

Malaga Wine museum – well worth a visit with its selection of wines from all over the world.

San Sebastian Street – this typical street is one of the most picturesque and photographed streets of the coast.
