FABULOUS VILLA fully restored and modernised yet Keeping all its Old World charm. Facing due south it enjoys panoramic views the coastline, to the sea and mountains.
This fabulous villa has Old World charm but has been fully restored and modernised. It boasts superb panoramic views of the coastline and the mountains of Mijas Pueblo. Located in a tranquil area and at the end of a cul-de-sac with green belt nearby you feel you are in a very countryfied setting yet the villa is unbelievably only 5 minutes' drive from the quaint cobble stoned village of Mijas, and 10 minutes' from Fuengirola and its beaches.

Additional Location Information
One of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level; it is a superb choice for either holiday or full time living.
When you wander through the narrow cobbled streets of this Andalucian village, you can understand what has attracted foreigners to settle here over the years. Many artists and writers have made it their home, enjoying the benefits of an excellent all year round climate, without being part of the busier, more commercial coastal towns just 7 kilometres down the mountain side.
Mijas itself offers you:
Shopping with high quality jewellery, ceramic and leatherware in addition to excellent artisan and craft shops.
Excellent Restaurants – The restaurants in Mijas have deservedly built up an excellent reputation for their high quality food and friendly service.
Its Tourist Information Office situated above the Municipal Car Park in Plaza Virgen de la Peña, where information can be obtained on local events, concerts and nearby attractions.
The Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) with its beautiful marble patio with fountains, a popular choice for weddings. If you decide to marry in Mijas,we will be pleased to help you organise this happy event.
Constitution Square – a fabulous place to sit enjoying a meal or drink in one of the local restaurants and just watch the world pass by.
Shrine Virgen of the Rock: The Shrine holds the image of the patroness of Mijas, the Virgin of the Rock. Legend has it that the image of the Virgin was hidden during 5 centuries and was found in 1586 by the father of two shepherd boys who were led to the hiding place by a dove.
"El Carromato de Max": A museum of miniatures, one of the most important of its kind with works from over 50 countries.
The Casa Museo: Established in 1995 the Museum reproduces a traditional village house and informs you of local traditions.
Church Inmaculada Concepcion: Built in 1541 on the site of an ancient Moorish castle, one of the castle towers was used as a bell tower. A series of frescos of the Apostles date back to approximately 1632.
Fortress walls: La Ruta del Botanica The remnants of the fortress that used to protect the village with its pretty gardens and spectacular view point.
Malaga Wine museum – well worth a visit with its selection of wines from all over the world.
San Sebastian Street – this typical street is one of the most picturesque and photographed streets of the coast.
Mijas is quite simply beautiful! But don’t take our word for it – come and see for yourself.

EdinburghFabulous, spacious and comfortable villa with stunning views
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have just returned form a fantastic 2 week stay. There was 9 of us with a mixed age from 8 - 65. The villa is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable and easily accomodated our party. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for a family holiday. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Pool and outside area were fantastic and are all lit up at night which is great especially when its was still hot at 11pm! We used the outside BBQ and the kitchen is very well equipped in particular the large fridge freezer. The gardens are stunning but the only slight negative is they are maintained by a gardener 4/5 times a week. Was ok most of the time but it did infringe on your privacy slightly. Car hire is essential as the villa is 5 min drive to Mijas. There is a good bus service if you walk to the top of the road which takes about 5/10 mins. All in all we had a great time.
