Nestled in the Andalucian countryside, the golden dome of Finca Maroc glistens in the sunshine over the tops of the olive trees. Secluded, yet less than 5 min by car away from the restaurants and shops in Alhaurin el Grande and 25min away from the famous beaches of Marbella. Finca Maroc is the perfect holiday hideaway.

Set in Mediterranean gardens and Olive groves, you cannot help but unwind in the peace and tranquilly of this Finca. The designer heated pool is something else, with its own water slide built into the hillside, its perfect for a moon-lit dip or some fun in the sun. Or you may prefer to relax in the Jacuzzi which is locate...d in the shade of an olive tree.

Finca Maroc offers the best of both worlds. A quality stylish property in a tranquil setting close to everything you need for a fabulous holiday. The white village of Alhaurin el Grande has been habited since Neolithic times and is now a bustling village with shops, deli, market and many restaurant and tapas bars offering good value for money and not to mention legendary Spanish spirit measures!

There is plenty to see and do in the area. The market towns of Coin and Guaro are close by, or just drive around and find one of the many Ventas peppered around the countryside (if you find a good one we haven't mentioned in our guide, please tell us!). Golf, beaches, adventure parks, walking, climbing are all easily accessible from Finca Maroc ... if you can tear yourself away from that pool.

  Great villa with good facilities . Ideal for a group of friends who want a peaceful relaxing holiday. Use the chef for a special night the food was fantastic. Local restaurants in local town good.

  What a fantastic villa the customer service throughout was excel

  We stayed at Finca Maroc for 2 weeks we came back on the 15th aug and we are all very down it was such an amazing holiday the pool was fantastic the views were lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was not hard work cooking for 20 of us. It was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. The villa has everything you could need and it has personal touches so it felt like home. I would definitely recommend Finca Maroc and am sure we will go back soon.
  We also used the hire car link on the website and the minibus link and Michael Taylor for catering and all were reliable and good value for money. Michael Taylor's food was great there was enough left for the following day too!
  From the very first enquiry until the day we came home my questions have been endless but Zena, Ian, Lisa and Jan have been wonderful the customer service has been excellent!

  Thank you for an amazing experience. There were 20 of us on our holiday and our ages ranged from 2yrs to 65 yrs and the villa catered for everyone. The villa and gardens were beautiful and the pool and slide were great. The teenagers really enjoyed downstairs where it was cool and where they could watch the many dvd's on offer and everyone loved the pool table and ping pong table, where many a night was spent!. The rooms were all beautiful and the living area was really comfortable and welcoming. The best bit was defiantly the pool and slide!. The villa was close to the town and it was easy to drive to the larger towns and attractions. We are already considering booking again for 2014. Thank you.

  This is a lovely villa,very comfortable, cosy and very airy.There is big space for a big friend's company to really enjoy themselves, indoors and outside. We enjoyed the comfortable kitchen, the amazing bedrooms, the swimming pool, the lovely terraces.
  We had a wonderful wedding at villa and would highly recommend it to anyone!

  We stayed at the wonderful Finca Maroc, it was truly amazing, the pool and slide were a huge hit with all of the kids and grandparents too! the jacuzzi was wonderful,the mountian views and the peaceful location were spot on. The facilities in the villa were great, not one thing disappointed us and with 12 people thats quite an acheivement!
  We would all love to go back, wish we were there now!
  The staff at Mijas villas were really helpful and everyone who came to the villa for maintenance was unobtrusive and friendly.
  It was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime and it absolutely was.

  Luxury villa hidden away in beautiful Spanish Countryside

  The villa was very well maintained and tastefully decorated with quality appliances. It had everything we needed, the pool was a good size and the slide was a bonus. We had children from aged 1 to 13 and bikes, table tennis, pool table, Wii and a selection of films kept them busy. Great for families with children that just want to relax. Only drawback was wifi signal was only available for lower level of villa.

  A little piece of Heaven

  Our party consisted of three families. Six adults and six children, the oldest being 17yrs and the youngest being 11yrs. We stayed for two weeks and all I can say is that it was heaven. The house is amazing and the outside areas are just beautiful.
  It was by far, we can all agree, one of the best holidays we have had. Thank you to Mijas Villas, you were so easy to do business with!!..

  Having stopped in many of the villas on the website this has been the best so far!! This villa is in beautiful grounds and safe for the kids. It has everything that you needed, plenty of fridge and freezer space, coffee machine etc. . The pool was fantastic and the kids (big and small!) loved the slide.
  The location is remote although we went to some lovely restaurants as recommended by yourselves. (car essential) We were really spoilt when Michael Taylor cooked for us on one the of the nights, he did a BBQ and it was fantastic! a real treat and highly recommended.
  We all loved this villa, only wished we could have stayed longer, 1 week was not enough for us!

  I booked Finca Maroc for a holiday with a group of friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday.
  
  The villa far exceeded all our expectations and we were totally overwhelmed, it was an amazing location to celebrate my birthday and it was very difficult to leave on final Saturday morning!
  
  Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going away in a medium sized group.

  I can thoroughly recommend the villa. It is in beautiful surrounds, has a great pool and outdoor seating area and was perfect for a bunch of golfers looking for a well placed villa to relax in. It is a little way out from Rio Real and Los Naranjos (45 mins) but this shouldn't put you off a well set out villa with plenty of outdoor seating areas for a relaxing evening drinking very nicely priced wine from the local supermarket.

  The villa was beautiful. first day had some teething problems. no water. pool not heated. jacussi not heated or clean. pool cloudy. taxi numbers supplied not reliable.we were not informed there was an alarm or given the code. this all sounds negative but after a call to the agent within 6 hours everything was dealt with.the rest of the holiday was amazing. the villa was ideal. The garden and outside area were fantastic. it was a peaceful retreat from the world surrounded by mountains.

  I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful service & support you offered, not just during our stay - but for all the planning & questions in advance of our trip. You've always been speedy & knowledgeable with your responses and nothings ever been too much trouble.
  
  Finca Maroc was beautiful, we sat out on the terrace every night & wished we could pick up the stunning garden/pool & drop it back home! It was a fantastic wedding setting - with beautiful pictures to prove it. We had a great few days around the pool, with lots of crazy antics & inventive ways for the 'grown-ups' to come down the slide!
  
  The villa has everything you could ever need - it was a luxury home from home!
  
  There's plenty of large spaces to be together and lovely quite corners to grab some tranquillity - the perfect balance.
  
  Our little boys keep on talking about the 'orange house' they want to go back and so do we, hopefully some day we'll get back there with older kids, less distractions and the ability to truly enjoy the tranquil & beautiful Finca Maroc.

  This was the 1st time we'd stayed in a villa as a 'family'
  accommodation was spacious,comfortable and catered for all our different needs as group aged from 18 months through to 83 !! .Location was good and not far from local shops & bars although a car is essential
  a thoughly good holiday was had by all and i would certainly recomend this villa

  Having stayed in many different private villas over the years, especially with Mijas villas run by Mr Fishwick, we think that this villa had everything! Location is private and secluded, yet easy to get to and near enough to beaches and towns. The size and quality of the rooms and facilities was great, as was the fantastic outside, which as the weather is always great,is where we speant a lot of the time. Could not fault it, or the way the company dealt with us. They are just a telephone call away if you need them for any reason. We will book again if there is ever any free weeks in the future!!
