An archway leads through to a dining area and the kitchen. Th...e villa is cleverly designed so it is naturally cool in summer with its high ceilings, but there is air-conditioning if required. Upstairs you will find the 2 double bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a double bed, with a very large en-suite bathroom with sunken bath and dressing area. From the Master Bedroom patio doors lead out to a private balcony enjoying excellent sea views. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is a full family bathroom. Both of these bedrooms have air conditioning. The villa has a completely separate one bedroom self contained apartment with a bathroom, small kitchenette and fantastic private balcony for you to enjoy the superb sea and coastal views. There is excellent terrace space, a fabulous fully enclosed kidney shaped pool with sunbeds for you to soak up the sun, and a large covered BBQ area. For the adventurous follow the pathway down to the garden area planted with a huge variety of fruit trees: olives, orange, lemon, fig, huge mature Eucalyptus trees, grapevines, and many more. * EasyJet or RyanAir offer cheap flights from most UK airports into Malaga.

* You can take a Taxi at Malaga airport to Mijas, but it can be a little expensive almost the same as renting a car for a week.

* You can take a train from the Airport to Fuengirola, and a taxi or a bus from Fuengirola in to Mijas Golf.

* Car rental at Malaga airport may be a nice and cheap option. At (website: hidden) you can rent a car from just 160 € a week.

Mijas is one of the most picturesque white villages in the Costa del Sol with its cobble stoned narrow streets and pretty squares. As you meander along its streets you will hear the clip clop of horses hooves and bells as horse drawn carriages sweep past you, the horses cantering along. Another familiar sight is of tourists riding donkeys (El burro taxi)- This spectacular mountain village draws tourists to it like a magnet, and little wonder as it nestles into a backdrop of mountains with its panoramic views over the countryside and to the Mediterranean sea beyond. There are white washed traditional houses, their balconies spilling over with pots of red geraniums. and street vendors selling hot sugared almonds all adding to the sights of this bustling mountain village.



Just a short drive from Malaga Airport, Mijas has a timeless quality about it, and despite the large number of tourists who regularly visit it, retains its Spanish essence and character. "El Carromato de Max": A museum of miniatures, one of the most important of its kind with works from over 50 countries.

The Casa Museo: Established in 1995 the Museum reproduces a traditional village house and informs you of local traditions.

Church Inmaculada Concepcion: Built in 1541 on the site of an ancient Moorish castle, one of the castle towers was used as a bell tower. A series of frescos of the Apostles date back to approximately 1632.

Fortress walls: La Ruta del Botanica The remnants of the fortress that used to protect the village with its pretty gardens and spectacular view point.

Malaga Wine museum – well worth a visit with its selection of wines from all over the world.

San Sebastian Street – this typical street is one of the most picturesque and photographed streets of the coast.
