Don't be put of location by the street view on Google maps, showing ugly facade and grafitti. Inside is a lovely pebble stone mews and up 2 flights of stairs ( no lift) to the apartment.The location is fantastic, right near the Navigli canal,a variety of great places to eat all in walking distance. A direct bus route to the Duomo etc. A very central location.
Another review said the apartment was dark, we didn't find that at all. Love the washing machine when traveling with a clothes line out front getting full sun all day.
I would have liked a few more kitchen basis such as plug for kitchen sink, a couple more coffee cups,egg cups, pot brush supplied, dust pan and hand broom. When we plugged in the kettle for the first time it cut out the power to the apartment.

The apartment is really cozy and has all the basic necessities. It is near the lively Naviglio Grande and is also close to the center of the city, but because it's located on a courtyard, it's relatively quiet. The service from Halldis was good and everybody was very helpfull. Example: The washing machine was very old, still working but not perfect. So after Halldis talked to the owner of the place, they decided to invest in a new washing machine. Great! This apartment was perfect for the two of us, but doesn't provide much privecy if there are more people. It's a place with an authentic atmosphere. We loved it!
