No air conditioning nor fans (ceiling or other) and no mosquito screens, therefore at night you either sleep with the windows open and the mosquitoes have a feast or you try to sleep with the windows closed which you can't because is too hot. This is the big but.
A shower door would be more appropriate than the dark plastic curtain in the bathroom; and the freezer should be placed more conveniently.
Therefore I would not recommend this apartment for the summer months.

Trying to make amends for the inconvenient you had with the summer heat, the on-line brochure does not mention neither air conditioning nor fans, thus meaning that they are not available in the apartment. As far as mosquito screens are concerned, since the apartment you chose is located in a historical building, such devices are difficult to place.

This is a very good flat with an amazing location! Two metro station are just 5-7 mins by walk, 10 mins by walk from Duomo, a super market is also nearby! The flat itself is very nice, maybe a kitchen is a lil bit small, but all the rest is good. I've been living there from January till the end of June and was very satisfied with my choice! Thank you, Halldis, for such a nice flat! Cheers x
