At the heart of the downtown area, in the oldest part of town! Which is to say, the Roman area, only a few meters from the Duomo, in a 50's building that was part of downtown Milan's post-war rebuilding project. Being this central, the apartment is simply perfectly connected to all Milan areas (Milan being a metropolis which has expanded outwards in concentric circles), the city having developed in unison around the historic center.

Staying in this area guests will be able to do all sorts of shopping, visit all the mayor museums, and go out to the city's most genuine bars and restaurants.

The apartment

The apartment is on... the third floor of a building that has a caretaker and elevator.

To access the main door you must go through a small private covered gallery, typical of downtown Milan buildings.

This kind of apartments are currently not easy to find: with its fantastic spacial distribution and whose vast space and dimensions make it both comfortable and cozy.

The entrance corridor leads guests to the apartment’s large living area. The cozy living/dining room is very bright and comfortable, with two sofas, two charming chairs, a table, and a fantastic Persian rug in the center to create a relaxed atmosphere, and offering sleeping facilities for an additional fifth and sixth guest. Guests shall also find in this area the dining table with 6 red padded chairs.

One of the two living room doors leads directly to the service area, where a landing grants access to either an utility bathroom equipped with a shower or to the kitchen.

The large kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to cook any dish, and also includes a large kitchen table with chairs where you can enjoy all your meals.

At the end of the main hallway, there is the sleeping area where there are two bedrooms and a beautiful master bathroom in shades of blue. The bathroom has a counter top with two wash basins, and a comfortable bathtub as well as fresh towels ready for guests to use upon arrival.

The main bedroom, tastefully decorated in bright colors, has a large double bed, a large built-in wardrobe and a red drawer chest. It also features a built-in safety deposit box, where should it be necessary, guests can place their personal belongings.

The second bedroom, even larger than the first, has two single beds, a wardrobe, and a work area with a desk and white chair.

The large windows provide plenty of great natural light to the living room, the two bedrooms, and the master bathroom helping to create a warm and special atmosphere all around.

This apartment is no doubt a first class choice, allowing guests to have the center of Milan and all it has to offer right at their doorstep!

  We really enjoyed our stay in the Missouri apartment, and Friendly Rentals were very nice and easy to work with. There was lots of space and our toddler loved having his own room. On top of that, you could not ask for a better location. Walking distance to many attractions and close to subway and trams if you prefer. Huge supermarket just around the corner.
  
  My only complaint was that the kitchen seemed to be missing a few items that we would have liked. There were no wine glasses and the only knives were some very flimsy cheap steak knives -- nothing you could use to cut bread or meat with. There were also a few broken utensils in the drawers (as well as working versions of the same things). Time for a clear out?

  A Cozy apartment at The Heart Of Milano

  We were a group of five and stayed 4 nights at Missori House which really has a great location. It is five minutes walk to Duomo and the metro station is just a few meters away.
  The apartment is on the third floor and there are two elevators. The inside of the apartment is just the same as the photos on the Tripadvisor. The furnitures are in good condition, the beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels are clean. The house was neat and clean in general except that the two bathrooms need a little bit more attention and cleaning, still we all liked the blue tiles in the main bathroom.
  The reservation process was easy. They responded quickly with all the details we need.
  We would like to thank Mattia who helped and provided us any kind of information about Milano.
