If you're in Cooperstown or nearby for a few days you should definitely consider Cooperstown Connection. The location was perfect along with the hospitality from the owner Rick when we arrived. During the day we went to the Baseball Hall of Fame which was less than ten minutes away. And at night we hung out and grilled in the spacious backyard. It was great because my wife and I were able to relax while our two boys unwound peacefully. Anyway our two rooms in the "Big House" were clean and accountable which left us feeling comfortable throughout our stay. I would recommend this to any friend or family looking for an affordable stay. Rick was very accommodating for me and I am sure he would be for you as well.

We couldn't have be happier with our choice. "The Big House" is just that - a wonderful old Victorian that's been converted to apartments. Its location in Milford, a short hop to Cooperstown, was great, especially with all the baseball traffic! Rick, the owner, was so accommodating, offering us a larger apt. - as no one was staying there. The house is within walking distance to the Cooperstown Brewery and also the Milford Inn (casual dining option with great food and service) . We will return!

Just returned from a weekend trip here. First off, the owner Rick is such a nice man! Very helpful and treated us like old friends. We had the first floor apartment and it was beautiful. Very clean and well kept, my favorite part was the brand new bathroom. This is great for people traveling who want a home away from home and not a stuffy hotel room. We had a large kitchen, and everything need to cook was provided for us. The bedroom and living room were cozy and perfect to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. You are literally located right behind the Cooperstown Brewery and within a 4 mile distance of the Ommegang Brewery (a must!) and 8 miles from Fly Creek Cider Mill (amazing!). Everything else is very close as well, the Baseball Hall of Fame is less than 10 miles away. The area is peaceful and if you happen to be there on a Saturday night there is the Rock and Roll Train (again, located right in your backyard) you can be apart of if you choose to do so. All in all, between the location, the comfort level of the house and the price (we paid the same as staying in the Holiday Inn) you cannot go wrong. Rick will go out of his way to make sure your stay is a great one!

We had the trip of a lifetime and staying at the Big House made it all possible. If you're a baseball family like us and want to stay all together, this is the perfect place for you. The Big House allowed our families to all be under one roof, but each apartment within the house allowed for privacy and some peace and quiet as needed. Each apartment to the house has an individual key.
The sleeping rooms and sitting areas were clean and spacious. We had various siblings come along on the trip and the Big House also has a big open area outside where the kids could play wiffle ball and other games. There are 2 gas grills available for guests as well. The 2 apartments that faced out towards the open area were excellent for cooking meals for the entire team.
If your team is playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park, the Big House is just 5 minutes down the road which makes it so convenient for getting all the parents and families over to the park. I would highly recommend the Big House for individual families or large groups. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Cooperstown Connection's Big House. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, clean, and located in a peaceful family friendly area really close to Cooperstown. Very short drive to the Dreamspark Baseball Tournaments. Vita & Rick the owners were very helpful and accommodating. We definitely plan to stay there again in the future. Would recommend staying here to anyone needing substantial space for a great price.
