Swingate Gardens guesthouse/B&B; offers you a unique vacation experience. We have 2 suites available or, you can choose to rent the whole house for those larger family gatherings. Swingate Gardens can sleep up to 14 people, we have 2 separate, fully equipped kitchens, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Laundry facilities are available. We have a play area and swing set for the children and comfortable chairs for the adults to sit and enjoy a few quiet moments in our spacious gardens. There is a fire pit for your evening "get-togethers" as well as 2 propane BBQ's for out door cooking. We are located a few minutes walk from the world famous Black Rive...r Cheese Factory where you can buy the best cheese you have ever tasted as well as a great variety of soft and hard ice creams. Sit on one of the picnic tables and enjoy your treats as you watch the local swan family swimming on the river.

Swingate Gardens is pleased to offer flexibility in your accommodation needs. We can book you in for a couple of nights or a month at a time. Our prices are based on a 4 person occupancy but arrangements can be made for 1-2 people or up to 14 people.

We are located just a few minutes from several wonderful wineries.

When you book your vacation at Swingate Gardens, we will provide you with your first morning's breakfast complimentary (continental style) after that you have the option of self catering in our modern, fully equipped kitchens or you can make arrangements for other meals to be provided at a small extra charge.

We are open year round for winter vacations as well as those little weekend get-aways that we all like to take from time to time. Our facility is fully heated in the winter and fully air conditioned in the summer. Swingate Gardens is located in a country setting. We have a large, private garden where you can chill out without being over looked by any neighbours. We have private parking on site for up to 5 cars.

There are many things to do within a short walk/drive of our facility. We have a double screen drive in movie theater as well as a recently renovated theater in town where you can enjoy the latest movies as well as live theater. These are both located in the town of Picton, a 12 minute drive from us. Picton also has a great hospital as well as 3 good grocery stores,a wide range of restaurants as well as coffee shops and local craft/boutique stores.
If it is a winery tour you are interested in, we have over 30 wineries close by, many of them offering free tours and free tasting.
We have a post office, variety store and fine dining just a couple of minute's drive away in the village of Milford.

If you enjoy swimming, playing on lovely white sandy beaches, surfing or playing with other water toys, we have the world famous Sandbanks Provincial Park just a 20 minute scenic drive from us. We also offer a pass to get you in for free!

Please contact us for last minute specials. We often have odd days here and there that we are prepared to offer at a reduced rate for last minute bookings. Also if you are looking for less than our minimum time frame or perhaps need a longer stay, we would be happy to try to accommodate you and come up with a package that suits your budget.
The price you see on here is for the Garden (lower) suite and is for 2 nights, 4 people.
Any other questions you have regarding our price scale or length of stay we are happy to discuss this with you.
Our cleaning fee comes into effect if garbage,recycling etc.,has not been addressed properly. We don't charge for regular cleaning.
