Formerly a B&B;, this large 5/6 BR home has been restored to the highest standards. Ideal for groups attending VIR racing events. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs, each with its own half bath, plus two full baths in hall. Large commercial kitchen and formal dining room, with seating for 10. There is a study downstairs with a foldout queen sofa. There are 2 parlors for socializing. Free Internet WiFi, Cable TV and unlimited long distance calling in the US. This home is on the National Historic Registry as the place where Confederate General recovered from wounds received at Chancellorsville and where married.

My wife and I are fascinated with history and we love elegant and historical homes...and the Woodside Inn has them both! The original Thomas Day fireplaces, staircase and elegant and comfortable reproduction period furniture, along with the amazing Civil War history made our time here unforgettable. While easily accommodating our children, we decided that we would have to come back for a romantic getaway...for which the Woodside is wonderfully suited.
