Easy access from airports and anywhere in town. You can walk to Meiji Shrine (5 min), Yoyogi Park (10 min), Omotesando (7 min) and Shibuya (15 min). This studio is located at at very good location and it is very easy to find. Just 1 minute walk to the shops. It is recommended if there's only 2 of you and you do not have much luggage.
I was travelling with 2 friends travelling around Japan for 10 days. We were supposed to stay in this studio during our 3 nights stop in Tokyo but we ended up looking for other options because it is too small for 3 person. I would say it's maximum occupancy should be 2. With the queen bed (which is pretty much the size of the room), plus a futon on the floor, we would have to leave our luggage in the kitchen's walkway (about 1 meter width) which will obstruct the entrance of the unit and step on the futon to go to the bathroom. Access to balcony is through climbing over the queen bed.
The condition of the unit is pretty worn out and the toilet/ bathroom is pretty old. It doesn't feel clean at all.
Overall, we had to lose our deposit of Yen 1000 and move somewhere else after hanging around the studio for about 20 minutes. We could not see ourselves staying for 3 nights in such condition. Definitely no for 3 person in the room.Response from Jan H. - 12/17/2012

I always inform the guests and its also stated in the room profile that this studio is small. It's only 12 sqm in size! It can definitely host 3 guests who will go out sightseeing most of the time and just use the studio for sleeping. It's in great location, very affordable and is well furnished with everything you need.
Many groups of 3 guests have stayed here in the past and they are ok with it. There is no problem with cleanliness. We clean it thorough before you move in. If you are not willing to adapt to small spaces, it's better to choose another accommodation and don't book here then cancel afterwards. -

Small apartment in a great location. This apartment has a queen bed and sleep 2 comfortably. There is a washing machine and drying line on the small balcony. However, access is by climbing over the bed. The apartment is air-conditioned. Easy access to the train station, eateries and shops. Free Wifi available.

I was surprised to see the cozy and quiet neighborhood where this private studio in Harajuku is located, although it is in the heart of Harajuku area. I could enjoy the dynamic scenes Harajuku that represents trendy young culture of Japan. In the meantime, I could enjoy my relaxed stay at the studio which is only a few steps away from the crowd.
The studio is newly decorated and very tidy. I felt home away from home.
The best thing is the location. It is only 3 mins walk to the train/subway station. It is easy to travel in Tokyo as the train and subway reaches everywhere in Tokyoo and cities near Tokyos.
As a whole, I was very satisfied during my stay and I would definately recommend my friens.
