This ground floor apartment sleeps 2 people in the seaside town of Minehead in West Somerset. Sunny Halt is a ground floor apartment in the West Somerset seaside town of Minehead. The cottage sleeps two people and consists of a double bedroom, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside the cottage is an enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. Perfect for a romantic retreat, Sunny Halt is an excellent holiday cottage in a lovely coastal town.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A master class of how a holiday apartment should be created and managed - thanks to Doreen and John. A warm, well equipped, spotless, comfortable and tastefully decorated apartment, situated close to all the facilities of Minehead. The friendliness of Doreen and John was exceptionally good (as was the welcome bottle of wine, chocs and delicious home-made cakes!) - we couldn't ask for anything more.
Tthanks again Doreen and John for a super week.

We had a lovely restful week here and received a great welcome from the owners.
The accommodation was delightful and well thought out with all that is needed for a great holiday. The location is close to the shops and restaurants, without being noisy, so it was nice to be able to walk into town for a meal in the evening. Although the parking was on-street, we didn't experience any difficulty in finding a place.
The owners, Doreen and John, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, from extra garden chairs, to a bottle of wine and homemade cake! -

'Wow' was our first impression as both the accommodation & welcome were first class. Well serviced with a real touch of luxury throughout, we felt thoroughly spoilt by the extra attention our hosts have given to making this a memorable stay. Short walk to the sea front and the South West coast path or try an early morning stroll to the harbour for a relaxing coffee followed by a steam train ride or take a drive to Porlock Weir,Selwory & Horner( great cream teas). Drive up over the hills to Lynmouth deer spotting on the way.There is a very pretty quiet garden to sit out in on sunny days, ideal base for exploring Exmoor & experiencing life in the 'slow' lane, try it its great!

After a long drive from home in East Yorkshire, we were greeted by Doreen and John, a delightful couple, who welcomed us in, showed us where everything was and made sure there was nothing we needed.
A bottle of wine rested with glasses ready on the table. Very welcome. Our first impression was of a well equipped and tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable apartment and this impression was reinforced by our stay for the week. The apartment is great for a couple and, in spite of its central location, is quiet and private.
There were loads of leaflets, maps and guides for the area and the town. We were there for a special birthday and John and Doreen had taken to the trouble to provide us with menus from the more suitable restaurants in the town, which made booking so much easier.
We didn't use the garden area, but it was pleasant, tidy and nicely planted and located in a well-sheltered part of the property. Had the weather been a little kinder, we'd certainly have had some meals out there. The small galley style kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the cutlery, crockery and appliances were all good quality, clean and in good order. The bathroom was warm, comfortable and clean, with a good shower and excellent facilities. The small sitting room was well furnished in comfortable style and the TV was a modern flat-screen of the right size for the viewer. The bedroom was light, clean and warm with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space for our clothes.
This little apartment turned out to be a splendid base for our holiday in what was a new part of the country for us. Its central location meant we could easily walk to any place in the town we wished to visit and we experienced no problem with the on street parking.
I had decided to have a rest from all things computer whilst on holiday, but there is a free Wi-fi connection in the apartment for those who don't want to be without such contact.
All in all, this was a friendly place with a delightful and caring couple who were willing to go beyond the usual service needs to make our stay as happy as possible. We felt welcome and comfortable and we're very happy to recommend this as a place for any couple holidaying in the area. -

Sunny Halt was set in the ideal position, right in the centre of Minehead but not troubled by any noise. Near to shops, lovely walks and a long esplanade to enjoy leisurely walks. It was a delightful apartment, very clean and boasted all the emnities you could ask for. We would definitely go back there.
