This lovely house is attached to the owner's pub in Blue Anchor, and sleeps four people. The Rest is a welcoming cottage, attached to the owner's pub in Blue Anchor, west Somerset. Upside down accommodation with one ground floor double bedroom. There is also a ground floor bathroom, and a first floor open plan living area with double sofa bed. Outside there is a patio garden, and use of the pub's shared gardens looking out to the sea. With the beach on the doorstep, as well as walks, cycle routes and great days out, The Rest is a great holiday base for a couple or family.

Amenities: Electric storage heaters. Electric oven and hob, micr...owave, fridge, washer/dryer, 2 x TVs with Freeview, 1 with DVD, 1 with video, CD, WiFi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Private patio garden at front. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub next door serving meals. Note: This property accepts a maximum of 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We stayed at the cottage on a 5 day break and were really surprised and pleased to find somewhere that welcomed pets. When we arrived we found not only a welcome pack including a cream cake for us, but a jar of dog treats which was quickly discovered by my my two dogs.
  The cottage was well found with everything you needed; clean, comfortable and ideally situated close to the beach so dog walks were a laid back enjoyment for all. The fact that the cottage backed on to the Smugglers Inn was a definite bonus with good imaginative food, god real ale and the best collection of gins I have seen in along time. The owner, both the inn and the footage was friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. I think the only minor downside was that I couldn't locate the advertised wi-fi but at least that made it a complete and relaxing break where I couldn't get involved with work.
  Definitely on our list for a repeat visit.
