This cute, comfortable little cabin sits up in the trees above the Toccoa River on Moonshine Mountain. There is a view of Hogback Ridge in the distance and you can hear the sounds of the Toccoa River rushing over and around the rocks below you. There is access to the river for anyone wanting to fish. There are multiple decks with which to enjoy the peacefulness of the area including one at roof level where you can still hear the river below you. My parents came down from Michigan for my moms birthday and my wife and I surprised them and rented the cabin for all of for the weekend. We arrived Friday afternoon and cooked out on the grill for dinner. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace on the deck. What a wonderful view of the mountains. We really liked the layout of the cabin. We madereally a tripgood over tofor fall branch falls on saturday. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Maybe because in winter the trees lose their foliage, but normally you can’t see anyone around the cabin or cabins close by. We hope you come back to experience full foliage and feel you are the only one in the whole mountain, that is certainly a great feeling! We had a great time staying in the cabin for five nights over Thanksgiving. We should of listened when they told us to follow the directions on the last few roads leading to cabin(and not our GPS) because we got all turned around, but what a nice surprise when we finally arrived and inside Christmas music was playing a cute Xmas tree in the corner. It was great being allowed to bring the dogs...who had much fun playing in the woods.We would definitely recommend!!

Other than the road was a bit bumpier than usual and whoever was doing the grading for the road decided to do it at 8:30 Saturday night, we had a wonderful time!

My husband and I came up for our second anniversary for the weekend. The cabin was very clean and cute! However, I could not get in touch with manager to check in and out, we had a very hard time finding the cabin because it was not marked from the road, and after riding around for so long we just started guessing and going up driveways. The manager assured me that fishing was just a walk down the road. However, the Taccoa river isn't far down the road, it's all private property, and therefore we weren't able to fish at all. Other than that the view was GREAT! Pretty secluded, there was a cabin next door, but the woods were so thick you couldn't really see it. Overall, very good cabin, except the fishing. Watch out for those hornets on the porch though!

I am very sorry you encounter some problems at your arrival, but we didn’t have any missing phone calls from you or any messages. We answer all the calls and never scan or dismiss contact from our guests; also, we call all our guests at the time of arrival and departure to ensure check in and check out and is a really good way for us to know that you are enjoying your vacation and have a quick response in case you need something.We have lawn signs in each property to facilitate the visual entrance of each property with the name of the company, phone number and website; also we have all the contact information in every single document we sent to our guests prior to arrival.This property is located in the top of the hill and is walking distance to Toccoa River where you have several public spots to get to the water. In case you prefer water front we can offer you properties with this amenity for future reference.Please remember we are in the mountains and we have wild life and yes some hornets in their natural environment, nothing to worry about.Thank you very much for your comments and we hope you comeback soon.

This was by far one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The location is simply breath taking and the views were out of this world. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to get some rest and relaxation. This is your place. We were there in December and we simply loved it. Can't imagine what a great time it would be to stay in the summer or spring. Looking forward to coming back.

From the moment we pulled up the driveway we knew we made a great choice. This was our families first time to the area and we loved it. The cabin was even better than the pictures on the website. From our self tour in the area, to a day trip to Helen, and a great time horseback riding the experience was terrific. My favorite time was the outdoor fireplace and conversation time with my wife and kids. That is my favorite feature of the cabin. Not to mention the Hot tub at 35 degrees outside. What a great time reconnecting with family old style

stayed 3 nights...very comfortable cabin... lacked for nothing in amenities! We enjoyed the hot tub, BBQ and outside fireplace....cabin was very clean and well cared for...just sitting in the woods, waiting for us!

Sweet little cabin! Highlights include hummingbirds buzzing all around you while chilling on the deck, cool creepy crawlies in the yard/forest, one night a half dozen or so sugar gliders tripped the sensor light flying around the trees near the house(for
like 30 mins!). Also, walking in the Toccoa River right down the street, the 20 min drive north to the Olympic whitewater course(awesome), 10 mins to downtown Blue Ridge(good eats all over), amazing Ingles groceries to cook on the grill!!!!! I could go on
