Brisbane, AustraliaFantastic place to stay on amalfi Coast
Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My wife and I stayed in apartment La Tuga for a week in mid September. The apartment and location were fantastic. The apartment is two storeys and has three bedrooms so we had plentry of room. Down stairs there is a large main bedroom, bathroom, well equipped kitchen, very large and spacious lounge and dining room opening onto a small deck that over looks the bay. Upstairs are the other two bedrooms and a bathroom. The apartment is 7modern and well decorated. I was a little worried about the noise being so close to the road but I needn't have worried as with the doors open you could enjoy all the sounds of the town and with them closed the apartment was nice and quite.
Minori lived up to what we wanted being a nice local town away from the hustle and bustle of amalfi and the other towns along the coast.you can catch the bus to amalfi or Positano for the morning or day and the come back to the less touristy Minori. We also spent a couple of days in Minori just relaxing and swimming in the warm sea. You can also walk to the larger town of Maiori only 10 minutes away.
The coastline is beautiful and you need to see it by boat but also take the bus to get a different perspective.
All in all a fantastic time and we highly recommend apartment La Tuga. -

LondonFirst class apartment.
Left on 10/27/2012 for a stay in August 2012
La Tuga was exceptionally positioned in a truly beautiful ancient building. The apartment was first class clean bright and spacious beautifully furnished. We all enjoyed the mezzanine style. The balcony overlooked the main street which was a real plus point for us, great to pop back from the beach and along to the shops. there was everything we needed close at hand. Fresh bed linen and towels. Fantastic air conditioning. A few steps up to the apartment that may not suit certain travellers but for us after enjoying so much beautiful cuisine from the local restaurants we needed all the exercise we could get. Best location ever. Very comfortable local buses to amazing locations of beauty along the coastline, Ravello, Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento are just a few great places to visit with a bus ride. I have to mention Franco, the La Tuga representative was on hand all through the day should any problems arise or information be required. I locked myself out one evening and Franco came to let me in! he was very friendly and always ready to help. The service received from Franco was very much appreciated. A truly memorable holiday with my teenage children. I would definitely return.

LiverpoolLovely September week in La Tuga appartment Minori
Left on 10/16/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Very comfortable recently renovated appartment on the sea front, well equipped, and a great location off one of the squares. Very good beach with spectacular views over to Ravello and Scala. For sight-seeing, public transport along the Costiera amalfitana is efficient and good value. Franco loked after us very well from pick up at the airport (do book this in advance) as well as day to day help and advice. We did get very fit carrying shopping up the 50 or so steps but this helpfully ofset consumption of the amazing cakes in the pasteciria on the ground floor. Self catering - with really good local fruit, veg, fish and bread - was a pleasure though eating out was also good. Great appartment in a terrific location.

DublinPerfect location
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The service was perfect and the people we had contact with were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The apartment was fantastic. 77 steps up, which was fine, but may not be perfect for everyone. The space was lovely and open and light. The apartment was very well equipped. Wifi was good. View over the beach.
The only two down sides were
(1) there was no light or sound privacy at all in the bedrooms, so if you want to have an earlier bed time for kids while adults have lights on or talk in any other room, that doesn't work.
(2) they asked for almost all the payment in cash
Minori is a wonderful town. Maybe not for everyone, as there were very few foreign tourists, so it was set up for Italian tourists. I really liked this, but if you want something more fancy then any other town on the amalfi coast is probably better for you. -

Loved the place and loved Minori. The apartment was beautifully maintained and cared for. The apartment manager, Franco, was available whenever we needed him. He helped us arrange a boat rental, told us the best beach chair rentals, and restaurants. We will go back!
Tip..Walk to Ravello,if you can take the stairs, it was a great experience. Ravello is much more touristy so it was nice to visit but we were anxious to get back to Minori. -

Erin_leigh79Fabulous apartment, Ideal Location in Minori...Will go back!
Left on 07/20/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We booked this apartment pretty early in our trip planning for 2 couples (us and another couple) for 3 nights in July 2012 when we wanted to stay on the amalfi Coast. We were not familiar with Minori and only really knew amalfi, Positano, and the larger, more notable towns. I'm so glad we stayed in Minori and at this apartment. It was very clean, spacious, well-equipped, and the best part - it had killer a/C, which is ideal for us spoiled americans! Wifi was excellent as well and all the linens and beach towels were great. I will most certainly stay in this apartment again, maybe even next year around the same time as Minori's festival because you have front row to all the action and fireworks. Yes, it's a little loud during the festival with cars, people, mopeds, etc. out on the street just below you, but the bedrooms are far enough away from the front of the building that it's not terrible. Marco was great in getting us settled in. This was by far the best rental we've ever used and the price is affordable enough. There are quite a few steps up to this place with no elevator/lift so at times when coming back from a long day or walking (i.e. Minori-Ravello steps up and then down!) it can be a little annoying and I could see older people or very young kids not being able to handle it. But this is a small issue and for most people not a problem at all. Next time I think we would cook if we stay here, since the kitchen had pretty much everything you needed. Loved it!

Hertfordshire, EnglandOur second visit to Wonderful Minori
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We had our second visit to Ravello apartments in May, this time staying in the newly refurbished La Tuga. The apartment is well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and we enjoyed a couple of meals in house.
The views from the small balcony are beautiful, especially when the sun rises in the morning. We enjoyed the walks around the town though there are many steps up the steep slopes. Walking to Ravello is a challenge (over 1000 steps) but well worth the effort. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the two gardens with their breathtaking views.
We enjoyed the restaurants in Minori, especially La Botte, Il Giardiniello and Il Pontile. The desserts & Ice cream at Sal de Riso are not too be missed, everything is exceptional.
We would be lost without Franco (who is part of the Ravello team). He picked us up at the airport as before. He provides invaluable advice on areas of interest and is always on hand for any questions.
Looking to plan our third visit, hopefully sometime next year. -

I spent my Easter holidays at the enchanting apartment La Tuga. I really liked Minori village and the accommodation, very clean and full of comforts. Everything is very close from La Tuga. The village is really quiet and charming with a couple of very good restaurants.
I had the chanche to relax and enjoy my Easter break. Wish to come back in the summer! -

I was for the first time in amalfi Coast and I found this accommodation ideal.
I just spent three days in Minori but everything is really close (Amalfi, Atrani, Ravello, Pompei).
The apartment was really comfortable and nicely furnished. I found all I needed. The kitchen was lovely and I had the chance to prepare delicious meals: I love cooking! The seaview is really astonishing and the beach is in just in front of the apartment. I really reccommend this solution. -
