Villa Trofimena is a characteristic two-story villa built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Trofimena you will enjoy a charming view of the beach and of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi . Villa Trofimena is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a nice private terrace with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be in a pedestrian precinct, at a short distance from the center of Minori , where you will find restaurants, the shops, the SITA bus stop, the beach and... the tourist port. You will reach Villa Trofimena from the street level going up a 100-meters (330-feet) public walkway that is cut into the rocky cliff and includes approximately 160 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Trofimena. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

The garden is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola. You will be able to reach it from the living room and from the entrance hall. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and deck chairs. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea.

The furnishings of the living room are elegant and bright. The furnishings include two armchairs and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace and the garden with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door.

The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!). There is a table to seat six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to a small terrace with a view of the sea.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the kitchen. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small terrace with a view of the sea through a French door. The room has a window with a view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the kitchen.

The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter it from the living room.

The terrace is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the sea and of Minori.

The second bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

  The service we received was first class. We were met with a very warm welcome by Gabriella who took us to Villa Trofimena. The villa was very comfortable with amazing views from all around. Minori is a lovely town. We enjoyed visiting amalfi, Ravello and Maiori. There were many restaurants in Minori to choose from. Cafe Europa was a favourite with all the family. The supermarket we used was well stocked. After a day on the beach we were quite happy to sit on the terrace of the villa and enjoy a simple supper of bread, cheese and ham followed by fresh fruit grown and bought locally. The pastry shop at the church was packed with sweet treats. We walked to Ravello climbing the 1300 steps and marvelled at the amazing views. The walk to Maiori from the villa also has breathtaking views. We did a day trip to Capri and would recommend the chair lift at anacapri.

  Absolutely fabulous view of Minori and the amalfi coast. We lived out on the balconies. Two caveats: 160+ steps to get to the house. You have to carry luggage, groceries, everything up the stairs. If you can't handle that, don't rent the villa. Also, the kitchen was pretty basic, a few pans, a few plates, zero spices or cooking aids. If you plan on cooking meals, bring everything you need. The town of Minori is fantastic, good restaurants, a butcher, a produce shop, a bakery, small grocery stores. Gravelly beach with warm water, perfect for swimming.
