We were down in Miramar Beach for my daughter's destination wedding over labor day weekend. We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. This rental was very clean and comfortable with a beachy decor. There were plenty of kitchen supplies to cook with, bath towels and bed linens. I loved the full size refrigerator and washer and drier. It had all the comforts of home. The only thing that would have been nice is to have had a back door key. We had to use the front door when coming and going which meant walking all the way around the building. The parking lot is in the back, so having a back door key would have been great! A little later check out would have been nice too, say noon instead of 10 am.
The location was great for us. The beach is across the street with easy private access. There plenty of places to eat out and there is an outlet mall, Walmart and grocery store all less than 5 miles away.
In regards to the management service of the condo... I only talked with the office people when scheduling my stay and when I checked in, but they were very kind and welcoming.
We would be willing to stay again!! -

Our stay was for five days but not long enough! The water was beautiful.
Our condo was very nice! The unit was well equipped
and clean.
We have already recommended #4 to to friends and relatives. -

Our expectations were not much because we got this place so cheap in comparison to others but the minute we walked in, we loved it. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the unit was. It had everything we needed and we loved being right across the street from the beach. We will probably make this an annual visit.

The place was excellent as always. The condo had everything you could ask for and a very nice view as well. It only rained once on our stay, but that was OK we needed a break. The beds were comfortable, clean linens & towels, dishes, etc. I wish it had a king size bed. The pool was clean. The grounds are kept up well. Marisol at the front counter is always a pleasure to deal with. Personally I like the kitchen downstairs and bedrooms upstairs like all of the other ones that aren't in the front row, but that is just a personal preference. We have been staying at Gulf Winds East for 6 years now. I just wish they would send me a coupon :)
We stay the weekend before the fourth of July, through the weekend after July 4th. We saw fireworks Sunday at the commons, Wed. at the harbour walk, and Thursday night we ate at Harry T's, watched the airshow and then caught fireworks again. It was awesome. Had a good time.
Overall I think it's one of the best deals on the beach. And my wife, children and myself are gonna be back next summer, and the summer after that, and the summer after that, and ...well you know. -

We took the whole family, and the condo accomodated all 6 adults and three children very comfortably. The recent updates made the place very cool (as my grandson said!)and we enjoyed a super week of sun and fun, in spite of a tropical storm that threatened at the very start! My only suggestion would be that the sofa bed in the living room should be given a new, better mattress. We will definitely be back because the grandchildren have learned to love the beach!

We chose this property because of the value for the view and it's direct access to the beach entrance. The layout of the home was interesting with bedrooms down and living area/kitchen upstairs. Backdoor parking was nice for packing up, but a key would have been nice for this entrance as well. The other major thing that made it difficult to really enjoy this rental was the full-size bed in the master. That only works well for single parents. Just saying...

Gulf Winds East #4 was just awesome. It is just across the street from a beautiful beach and has a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. It is also located several miles from downton Destin, away from the hustle and bustle. The home was nicely decorated and very clean. Two small things that we disliked - you have to park in the back and enter thru the front door around the building and the kithen is definitely not stocked for any serious cooking. Salt and pepper are the only spices you will find. Found that to be a little unusual compared to other rentals we have stayed in. All and all a wonderful place and would definitely stay there again.

This is our favorite time to vacation in Destin; this was a 1 month stay and we loved it!We like gulf winds east because of the short walk to the beach; the view from the front condos and the pool. My only complaint is the pool was almost too cold,the heater could be on sooner & set higher. We really like #4 because of the extra twin bunk beds;that comes in handy with extra guests! The weather this yea was fantastic; only misses the beach 3 days. My husband enjoyed the golf,had a great time with family on the links!! Thanks again, Patti Simmons

We had great weather and a great time.Great condo. Love the location close to the beach. We came to gulf winds east for the pool; it was cold at first but then you turned the heater on, thank you!! We really enjoy the gulf view condos.

Clean & comfortable. The beach was a disapointment as there was a lot of algea in the water. On the beach itself, there were some type of slugs dying all along the waters edge. It was like this on Friday and Saturday of our stay. On Sunday morning the water had cleared and the beach was free of the slugs and once again the beach & water was as beautiful as it should be.
The wedding was very beautiful on the beach. -

This was our first time to Destin and also our first time to rent a Condo. We had a great time there. I would recommended to anyone to stay here. The view was great and eveything that we went to do was all with in a 3 mile area. We will be going back to stay there again next year.

GREAT Townhome - It is recently renovated, across the beach from the street (don't worry about crossing the street - the cars easily stop for you to pass). The appliances, kitchen utensils, etc are all new and plentiful. We will be back! We had a great time.

The unit was beautiful, clean with an exceptional view! It had all the amenities of home and more! We enjoyed the view the most and the least was that we had to leave and go home. The assistance we received from Marisol was above and beyond!
