Our family 6 adults loved the unit. The view is beautiful, the unit was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. It was a great experience. We can't wait to do it again!

We have vacationed at Majestic Sun for 3 years and have never been disappointed! This was our first year in this condo, and with 2 small children, we were very pleased with it. It was clean, spacious, and the balcony was fantastic. We will be returning to this condo again.

I had stayed at Majestic Sun on a trip prior to this one and loved the views and the amenities it offered. This vacation was much different as it was my Wedding and Honeymoon!!! I picked what I thought on line was a very nice condo but upon arriving I was absolutely in love with 1109a! Clean, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly have needed for our stay! It was so nice to purchase groceries and spend our mornings enjoying breakfast on our balcony as well as packing lunches and drinks for our trip out the front door to the beach! My Husband had not been to the Destin area and is now looking to buy something for us there. With the doors open, hearing the waves come in as the cool air blew in, we both slept like babies!! It was definitely a huge part of a beautiful week starting our new life together and we began planning our trip back on the plane back to Oklahoma! Thank you for a very, very memorable stay!

The condo was great! The beach was a little rough and chilly because of the passing storms but it was still wonderful! I'm always glad we pick the Majestic Sun because it never disappoints! The only thing I would say was that the front bedroom appeared to always be hot while the back rooms were freezing! I was impossible to find a happy medium!
I would still come back and for everyone staying at the Majestic Sun, go next door to Rick's Crab Trap for the all you can eat crab legs! So good!!

We absolutely loved this rental. The only thing I would suggest is that there are more towels and wash rags left to use. We only had one towel and one wash rag per person. I constantly had to wash them. Otherwise, the rental was very nice and the view had to be one of the best. We would definitely rent this unit again.

We really enjoyed staying at this unit. The view was "Majestic." The beds were comfy. The new "fancy" appliances were awesome! Loved having a washer and dryer in the condo. Nice big balcony area. Just a great place to spend a nice family vacation!

Destin is our vacation spot and the majestic sun is the only place we want to stay. Everything was as stated and pictured. We had no problems with any transactions, checking in, during our stay or leaving.This was our second time using southern vacation rentals for the majestic sun. This room had some perks for us: they had stainless pans cooking pans, the washer and dryer were full size, the balcony was a nice and big because the master bedroom had sliding glass doors out to the balcony. The DVD player for the main living room did not work, bummer for the kids, but we did not go to Destin to watch TV. The dryer needs serviced as periodically I had some trouble getting the start knob to work. Once started, the machine worked fine. They left a number to call if we had any trouble and we did not call as we did not rate these issues worth the phone call. This unit was nicely decorated and comfortable. I noticed the sofa was made in the USa (nice to see that). The beds and pillows were comfortable. The living room seating was also comfortable. The sofa sleeper was fine for our younger kids but as most sleeper sofas go they are not so good for the weight of an adult. It is on the 11th floor which delivered an incredible view.The majestic sun is also a great place for beach lovers to stay as the rental for kayaks and jet skis were right out front on the sand. The Whales Tail is also out front on the beach for food and refreshments while you are having your day in the sun. The Donut Hole is by far the best place we have eaten in Destin. Great food and great prices with large portions that even filled our twin boys in college. Not to mention the best donuts we or our family have ever had. We would not have any reservations about renting this unit again. We had a really wonderful time as always. Thank you albert it was nice renting from you.

liked the hotel okay. Never could find a wheel cart to load all our luggage. Had to get off one elevator and get on another to get to our floor. Not real convenient. room is nice for the early 2000's. But seriously needs to be updated. really dusty. Beds in second bedroom, twins are something to be desired.

Beautifully decorated condo with breathtaking view of the Gulf. Although the seaweed and moss were at high levels during our stay, we still enjoyed our stay. We would just get past the green and go out to the sandbar where the water was clear. We stayed in this same condo 2 years prior but later in July and the water was beautiful blue and clear.

The view was awesome. I loved the fact that the master bedroom was gulf-front. The unit was decorated beautifully. Very elegant. The kitchen could have been stocked with more items. It had the bare essentials, but could have had more (i.e. Martini shaker). Please be sure to tell future renters where to pull in to the complex. We were not told ahead of time to go to the gate with the guard and tried to get into another entrance that required a code. Also, the workout room needs more ventilation. The stale air circulated around the room and made it very stuffy. Overall excellent experience.

Unit 1109a is a great unit. It was perfect for cooking the Thanksgiving turkey and the side dishes and sharing it all with friends and family with a great view.
I was impressed with all of the kitchen gadgets and variety of pots and pans available in the unit. The king size bed was very comfortable.
The fridge was leaking in the inside along the back of it. Water came out in the front of fridge and puddled on the floor. It stopped leaking on second day. The 2nd sink in the master bathroom leaked, couldn't get it to shut off completely.
It felt odd not to have any services, such as bellman, security or any available people for questions. I wouldn't recommend that for all people. -

Loved the beach access, easy to get to. Things
were organized and we were given printed information
as to how the condo operated. The only time we
were a little frustrated is when we thought from
the initial info that we would have tennis court
access for a fee. Since there seemed to be no
physical presence of Southern Resorts personnel
on the property it took several phone calls and
a walk to nearby property to get it figured out.
Tennis courts were too far and too costly. -

We have heard of others going to Destin, but I just could never convince myself the water would be as beautiful as in Cancun, Mexico. NOW I am a believer. The water is even more beautiful than Cancun. The condo was nicely decorated and a perfect size for a family of 4. The only thing needing updated/fixed was the laminate on the cabinets was starting to peel off. The garbage smell next to the entrance was a little overwhelming as one walked by. The beaches were a little crowded in front of the resort, but if one went in either direction it was not as congested. However, it is VERY family friendly and we will go back. We stayed 5 nights and could have stayed longer. Our 12 year old son parasailed, my husband went deep sea fishing, we rented a kayak and jet skis, the kids also climbed on the rock wall in the ocean (the trampoline had been cut, so was not available)...we had a fantastic time!!

Views were fabulous!! Great beach access and nice to be close to grocery and
outlet mall. Dryer did not work for 3 of the 4 days we were in the unit. Was
"fixed" last day as we were brought a pair of plyers to turn dryer on and off.
Condo is well decorated. Beds are comfortable and kitchen well equiped.

We stayed in this beautiful condo over spring break with our teenage children. The condo was beautiful and the view was even better.
I was a little apprehensive about the road directly in front of the condo but it was fine and not a problem at all.
We did have a couple minor problems such as the bedroom remote not working and a soiled blanket, but as soon as I contacted Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals Company the problems were quickly addressed.
I would definitely recommend this condo to others looking for a nice relaxing vacation. -

Let me start out by saying that the condo was very nice.... The rental process was extremely easy and very well communicated.
There were issues with the management company of the condo complex itself. They were not the most friendly. We were bothered on a regular basis for an arm band of proof. This shows the management we were renters for the week. The hot tubs were broken for the first few days. Finally they fixed one. We were asked to leave the hot tub, My boys are 6,8 and 11... for their age. I was with them.... The heated pool is the inside pool only. It does matter in the spring. It is my belief that the staff would want to be a little more friendly with there vacationers... Finally, this complex comes with a keyless system. ie. elevator, room, health club.... We were on the 11th floor which needs a code to access the floor itself. A code for you room, A code for the fitness area, a code for the beach access all of which are not the same... Not the most convienent. Construction and painting all week. -

We were in Destin for my daughter's wedding which was held on the beach in front of the Majestic Sun. The resort was wonderful, the view of the Gulf was great! I have recommended the resort to all of my friends and our family plans to return there for my husband and my 25th wedding anniversary. I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay there. The condo was very impressive and the beaches lived up to their reputation. The only improvement would be if there were clearer check in and parking directions given. Once we got into our condo the stay was better than we could have ever expected.

Our first stay was May07 with friends that introduced us to Destin for the first time and we fell in love with it.We came back in Oct07 with the kids and they also fell in love with Destin and the condo. ON OCT 11,2008 we all went back for the third time in two years. So what does that tell you !!!!

Great facility and room. We will probably stay in same unit again. Only problems were elevator issues and we sustained vehicle damage in parking lot. My son parked in a lane (only available spot) near stair door and when door was opened it struck vehicle. Please paint a NO Parking sign on wall in front of lane and remove the parking bumper so others will not park there. Another vehicle was damaged following day in same spot. Paint and stencils for sign less than five dollars. Thank you.
