The unit is nice enough but absolutely not as advertised. It is very small. An appropriate description would be 1 bedroom with a loft. An attic with 5 foot ceilings has never been nor will it ever be considered a bedroom no matter how many beds you throw in there. The furnishings are straight out of the Wal-Mart catalog. Not a good value. The area is very nice however.

we stayed for a month the unit is clean and comfy for 4 but the closet you call a bedroom has no window and no privacy.I cannot imagine having someone sleep up there,Its not Safe.

The Southern Vacation professionals made our visit and stay very easy and enjoyable. When on vacation hassles are no fun, but the instructions and facilities eased any concern.
Furnishings, kitchen supplies, glassware, dishes, and appliances were like home. Very comfortable beds.

My family and myself recently stayed at the Maravilla #4407 managed by Southern Vacation Rentals. The people at Southern Rentals were very nice and helpful in finding us a place to accomodate all of my family. Maravilla the complex itself was very nice, family oriented, and right at the beach. The unit itself was very nice. It was very clean and had most all the comforts from home. Location was great, which is very important to me cause the area in which Maravilla is located is more family oriented. I would certainly recommend this complex and this unit to anyone and book through Southern Vacation Rentals because they are great in helping you find the perfect place to stay.

You never know for sure what you have rented until you get there. We walked in and the whole family was saying how awesome it was. We loved the condo and the acess to the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and will definetly rent again!

Condo was nice needed repairs to cabinetry which I reported and they responded with a temporary repair which was fine. Very loud there can hear all the exterior noise. Would not stay there again simply because of noise.

It's always difficult finding a place to stay for affordable prices these days, but the Southern Resort people were very professional and had excellent service. While staying at the condo the TV upstairs got broke and I called Southern Resort and they had someone out there in no time. We received a new flat screen tv that was great! Thanks so much again!!

Spring Break 2010 - 2 families from Wisconsin. Loved the unit, perfect size for the 8 of us. Weather was beautiful. Teen nights at the local restaurants and clubs were fantastic. I would recommend this destination to anyone.

after I got home from our vacation I called Southern Resorts about the hot tub not working properly for 4 of my 7 days. But because I reported it to the Maravilla office at the clubhouse where the hot tub is located and not Southern resorts you can't give any refund back. I've have used southern resorts for the last 5 years and spent my vacation at Maravilla every time. But this time will be my last time with you. I will book my reservations with some one else next year. Thank you but no thanks! Randal Warren

TennesseeCondo was great but complex overall had too many rules

We rented a total of 3 condo's within Maravilla for a week in August and like
each condo but the complex as a whole had too many rules and restrictions
that many other complexes do not. First of all, if you wanted to check in
before 4, which most people do, they want to charge you an additional fee
on top of your already pricy stay. Then the whole beach service. It was
great to have the complementary service however, you have to line up each
morning to reserve a chair and you are not in the same one each day. This
is kind of annoying since they know that you are in fact staying there and
have your name on a list of people who have the service so, like most other
complexes, why not go ahead and pre-reserve the chairs so you don't have
to come down at the crack of dawn and get chairs everyday??? Another
thing that we found a little bit annoying was that since we had so many
people, we take a tent to put up and kind of congregate around that area
each day, well you are not allow to set up a tent on the Maravilla beach,
which since we had the chairs was ok but would still liked to have had the
opportunity to set it up as sort of a camp for everyone. Overall, like I stated
before, the condos were nice and fully stocked which was another plus, but
the complex and Southern Resorts as a whole had too many rules and
regulations that were not made clear beforehand. -

Over all we enjoyed the condo with a few exceptions. Third bedroom upstairs was way to small with the slanted roof. Basically it was in the attic. From the review of the condo on your web site we were expecting a 2nd loft which was not what we got. As a result we had one guest on the poor quality sleeper sofa {mattress should be replaced}. Had we known what the third bedroom was we would not have chosen that condo. Also the elevator was broken twice causing myself {asthmatic}and my friend a heart patient to climb stairs to the fourth floor. Would I choose to rent this condo again probably not. That doesnt mean that i wont rent from southern resorts again...it means that i wont rent maravilla 4407 again.

This was the perfect place for our large family (2 parents, 5 kids)and was spacious enough that we didn't feel cramped at all. The accommodations were great--tidy and clean and comfortable. What I most liked about the property was that it was only a short walking distance to the beach, and all the other activities, like the pool, tennis courts, etc., were even closer. We were also a close drive to stores and amusements. This was probably the best vacation our family has ever had!

The condo was very pleasant and clean. It went with a beach theme since it was near the Gulf and accomodated my family for the time we stayed. Renting a home or condo beats a hotel and the price is reasonable. I would never stay in a hotel again as long as I can rent a spacious home or condo for the same price.

My bridal party and I stayed in 2 condos at Maravilla in April on the weekend of my Destin beach wedding. The condo was nicely sized with various sleeping arrangements and was conveniently located near Henderson Beach State Park (ceremony site) and Kelly plantation (reception site). Both condos were nice and clean and Southern Resorts was easy to work with.

in miravilla and the beach too!!!!!!!The layout of the condo is

We have stayed in the Maravilla complex many times. Unit 4407 was perfect for our family of 6, with a bed for each kid and privacy for the parents. The heated pool is great and the beach is well maintained. We usually head to FL after the spring break season and before the summer season and are able to take advantage of good rates and beautiful weather and the beach isn't crowded.
The unit comes with basic kitchen utensils for simple cooking and is within walking distance of a couple of good restaurants.
I would definitely return to this unit again because the floor plan was perfect for us -- bedroom and loft and bath upstairs with bedroom and bath downstairs. You can see the Gulf from the balcony and enjoy the sunset, but we didn't spend as much time in the unit as we did at the beach and pool.
