This property has a Saturday to Saturday requirement during Spring Break and a three night minimum over holidays. **The 4th of July requires a weekly stay** All other times there is no minimun requirement.

We rented Beach Retreat Condo #302...it is a 2 bedroom and my husband and I and another couple used it...the home was nice and accomdating...I usually do not sleep very well away from home but didn't have that problem in this condo...the beds were very comfortable (great for those of us who suffer from back issues)...the washer/dryer in the condo was an added bonus..Since we came in on motorcycles, we didn't have to pack quite so many clothes for the 9 days out since we had the ability to do laundry there in the condo...this was a big help to us...We all loved the balcony and view! It was indeed relaxing to wake up in the morning, sit on the balcony and drink coffee...what a wonderful way to start the day! Even standing in the living room or kitchen area, you could still look out across the condo, thru the patio doors and look at the gulf! I must say, hats off to the staff at Newman Dailey! We came in well after hours, and the "after hours" instructions to get our information was easily understandable, and we retrieved our information out of the lock box with no issues...My husband and I had used Newman Dailey a few years ago, and were happy to return to them due to the first, initial experience with them...our first experience with Newman Dailey, our second was the same...no hassle! We checked out early, before the office opened, followed the early check out phone instuctions...again---no problem...isn't this what vacation is all about??? No hassles, no issues, no problems??? My husband and I are planning to return next year...Newman Dailey and Beach Retreat...of course!!!

Beach Retreat 302 was great. Very spacious and clean. All the descriptions were just as described. Directly across from the beach...very easy walk with our 3 kids (all under 10). 2 large bedrooms and the bunk room was perfect. very large master bath! Negative: not all the Tv's and DVD players worked...but no biggie; we were at the beach! We had a great time and look forward to our next trip.

The renal we sayed in was a very nice unit beautiful furnished with lots of room for everyone.We did not want for anything everything was there in the unit.My grandchildren 3 and 2 really enjoyed the balcony for people and bird watching. Thanks for a wonderful getaway.We want to return soon and stay in the same unit.It was so close to the beach,shopping and restaurants.Thanks again.

We really enjoyed our week in this condo. The view was fantastic and the location could not have been better. It is pleasantly decorated and the rooms are fairly large and the set up is nice. It easily sleeps 8, could even sleep more if you had children or people willing to sleep on a pull out. Being on the third floor is nice because of the great view you have of the gulf.
We had a few issues with the unit, however. Firstly, the televisions did not work, except for the one in the main room. Each room had a television, but only the one in the main living area had reception and it was very fuzzy. Also, the gate entering the condo parking lot was very oddly set up and if driving on your own you had to get out of the car and walk around your vehicle to type in the access code, as it was on the passenger side. This is really odd and inconvenient. It also opens in such a way that when exiting the premises the other gate can, and did, brush up against our vehicle causing damage. This was obviously upsetting.
The stove in the kitchen didn't work very well. Two of the burners didn't always turn on. The sliding glass door had to be fixed because it had a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the jam which tore my mother's clothing. Also, there is a shelf in the middle of the dining room that each one of us ended up running into at some point during the stay because it sticks out so far that it is impossible to avoid and wow! It really hurt when you did run into it.
Would I reccommend this to a friend? I think I would, however I am not sure that we would want to stay in this exact unit again. I think you could get a similarly priced unit without some of the issues we had. However, the overall building would be a great choice for anyone wanting convenience to the beach and a fantastic view. -

This was my family's first trip to Destin and we would definitely stay at this resort again. The location was great and everything we needed was just a short drive away. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils and everything was very clean. Having the beach across the street and the pool in the back was the perfect combination. The staff was very helpful and super nice. Highly recommended! A+++!!

I drove 12 hours from Cincinnati to Destin with a 3 year old and a 7 month old. We arrived at 5:00 pm Destin time and we were given all of our paperwork. We get to the condo and the number that we were given for the keyless entry into the condo was incorrect. I called and spoke with someone on the after hours line. I didn't hear back for 10 minutes, so I called again and was very irritated at that point. She says she wasn't the one I had spoken with before, but she would get someone to call me back. After spending about 25 minutes standing outside of the condo with my tired and hungry kids, we got a call from a very nice lady that gave us an override code for the door. Aside from this horrendous beginning to our vacation, we love this condo and we love Destin. Just not sure if we will go through Newman Dailey again.

My Mother and I stayed with our 3 little four legged "babies" for 4 nights. The weather was perfect and the view was wonderful! The condo was bigger than we needed but it was great home away from home! We will be coming back very soon!

This is our second year, in Beach Retreat condo #302, with Newman-Dailey and we couldn't be happier. Our condo is perfectly priced, has an amazing location, is always clean and comfortable and we know that Newman-Dailey is just a phone call (or short drive!) away, if we were to need anything.
Our condo became our home for the 10 days of our vacation - I feel just as comfortable there as I do in my own home in Ohio.
We're coming back next year and we already plan to book the same condo! -

First let me start by saying I wish I could give this unit a better review. We rented it because of the amount of bedrooms offered and the space provided in worked well for our family. We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the unit. The unit was dirty... hair balls went floating across the floor, the blankets didn't quite smell right, on the first day our feet were black from the dirt on the floor. The location was good, it is very close to the stairs and elevator. The amenities are great, chairs and golf included. But when we return next year this is one unit we will not consider.

Overall, the stay is really good and relaxing. The ambience and aesthetics of the property are excellent. However, we had some uneasiness with the way the restrooms are maintained. Those rooms were foul smelling;that could have been avoided..otherwise, the stay is good and relaxing..!

How can I say enough about this beautiful condo? It is tastefully decorated, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Gulf. Every morning I couldn't wait to get out of bed and see the Gulf of Mexico and walk on those beautiful beaches. I have been vacationing in Destin for over 25 years, but this was my first stay at Beach Retreat. I can assure you that it will not be my last! My only complaint is I stayed only one week, next year will be two! The grounds are so well kept and the maintenance staff are so kind and proffessional. I wish that they would offer umbrella and chairs in November, as it stayed in the high 70's all week long, but it did not dampen our enjoyment.

Beach Retreat is a perfect setting. The grounds are well kept and parking was convenient. The condo is located on the beach and has lots of room including two bathrooms. A keypad lock on the door gave us easy access without worring about keys. It is centrally located and the beach view from the balcony was magnificent.
Everyone was helpful when we checked in and I have used Newman-Dailey Properties in Destin before and I have already recommended them to several of my friends.
Thank-you for a great vacation experience in my favorite part of Florida-Destin! -

This was our 4th return to Beach Retreat 302. It is ALWAYS perfect. We have not had 1 problem, EVER, with the condo or the office.The pool is GREAT, & the beach is right outside your doorstep, LITERALLY!!This condo unit is "the goods"... We will be back,as usual!

You know it is a good vacation when 2 days into it the whole family starts talking doing it again next year and adding a couple of days. Late check in instructions were clear after my ADD brain figured it all out. Proximity to the beach was awesome and we felt secure at the gated property. My family and I recently stayed at Beach Retreat BR302. I have been to Destin NUMEROUS times through the years and by far loved this resort more than any others. The condo itself was great, beautifully decorated etc. The resort grounds were great as well. The pool is very large for a smaller resort. The location is amazing, the view of the beach was breath taking. Due to the resort size being smaller than others the beach in our designated area was not over-crowded. We look forward to many future stays!

the location of this place is awesome! it is right across the beach!
the customer service was awesome! we got lost getting there at 12 o clock at night and they had a person on call to help us for whatever we needed!
the check in and out system was easy to do.
everything was great. we will stay there again the next time we go to destin! -
