This property has a Saturday to Saturday requirement during Spring Break and a three night minimum over holidays. **The 4th of July requires a weekly stay** All other times there is no minimun requirement.

This was our third time to stay at Beach Retreat, the first time on the fourth floor. The view was spectacular. However, the condo accommodations are in need of upgrade. The master suite mattress was as hard as a rock. There are multiple stains on the carpet. The living room furniture is worn and outdated. The sliding glass door had a film on it that obstructed the view. There were cracks in the door molding. One of the kitchen lights would cycle on and off. This was by far the lowest quality room we have stayed in at BR. Will not stay in this room again.

The views from the Beach Retreat 407 were stunning. We could see dolphins from our balcony almost daily. It is easy to get to the beach and the pool is wonderful as well.
The sheets in the bun k room were dirty and full of sand on our arrival, which was disappointing. There were also some dirty dishes in the cabinets. Other than that we enjoyed our trip. -

Normally the Beach Retreat condo has great
units! This one was a great disappointment. We
stayed in this unit a year or so ago and the
toilet is still very loose and needs repair. Shower
heads or so bad you cannot get soap out of
your hair. Certain eyes on cooktop work sporadically.
Patio furniture is very rusted. Sheets in
bunk room were not clean and one
of bathrooms had little pieces of plastic on
the floor when we arrived. -

First, the Newman-Dailey office is conveniently located for check in and a pleasant oasis after what was a challenging drive over to Miramar Beach. The welcome packet is helpful, and our grandchildren loved the code to get in our condo. The condo has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the beach and is nicely decorated in classic beach style. Beach Retreat is located in the section where there is a walkway on both sides of the beach road which makes walking to places easy. Also, there is an unusually long area on the beach side of the road where nothing has been built. The pool at Beach Retreat is large and always refreshingly cool and very clean. A son-in-law enjoyed the work out area. Also, both sons-in-law enjoyed grilling in the grill area. Since my husband is disabled the area is wonderful for us because he can enjoy all the amenities, walk with his cane or be in his wheelchair on both sides of the beach road, and sit out on the balcony and enjoy the Gulf view. The area is family and pet friendly.

Excellent location and view. Excellent layout of unit (cute little area for bunk beds with a bathroom attached). Living room chaise had a hole in the seat. Balcony roomy with a great view but sliding glass doors hazy and difficult to see through from the inside. Dog walk area nice and close to building. This area is great in terms of not being to crowded even during peak season because it's away from all of the huge condos. Close walk to restaurants. Living room television is too small.

Our stay at Beach Retreat 407 was wonderful! The view was amazing! We enjoyed setting on the balcony every morning and night! The condo was clean and perfect for our family of 4! The kids loved the view just as much as we did! We had a great time and the people at Newman Dailey were very friendly and helpful! We are excited about planning our next trip to Destin, and we plan on staying at Beach Retreat 407!

This was a very nice location and the view was awesome! The staff and Newman Dailey were very pleasant and check out was a breeze! Very close to several excellent restaurants!
We were there the weekend of 6/9 and the only complaint I had --- rain -- rain -- and more rain!
Nothing negative about the resort however.

This was our first time to Destin all together and we absolutely loved it. The condo was clean, had an amazing view and so close to the beach. We have 2 kids, so the elevator made it easy to get around with a stroller. We will definately stay here again and have already recommended it to friends.

This condo has a nice clear 4th floor view to the ocean and a great walking path/ boardwalk in front of the unit for easy access. The building and ammenities were clean and easy to use. Only complaint is that our condo had no basic condiments such as salt, pepper, coffee filters so plan ahead on these. Otherwise, very relaxing vacation. Great location for our Yorkie as well!

This is the 3rd year we have stayed for a week at Br407 and it was great. The location could not be better, jsut across the road from the beach. We had breakfast on the deck and watched the waves and occasionally the sun come up. You are very close to shopping and dining. This is a very comfortable condo and we will stay again as soon as possible. Did I mention the off season rates!

Overall property is very nice facility; great view from balcony, convenient to restaurants & shopping. Truly is pet friendly with clean & ample walk area for the dog (he made lots of new friends!) Nice pool & hot tub. Our one bedroom unit was perfect size for us. However, the living room furniture was shabby, perhaps old & not enough chairs/seating. The rug in the master bedroom was stained & dirty. The TV was too small; they'd do well to replace it with a larger screen. Well equipped kitchen. Loved having wireless internet access.

We have been staying in the Miramar Beach area for over 10 years now, it's our favorite vacation spot. This was our first time staying at the Beach Retreat Condo and it was beautiful, and the view of the gulf was amazing. We are ready to book the same condo next year!

The view was beautiful. The staff at Newman-Dailey were great. The condo was dirty. It smelled like pet urine. There was animal hair everywhere. If you walked barefoot in the condo your feet would become black. The carpet was stained with animal urine. We would not stay in this unit again.

This was our first visit ever to the Gulf Coast, and we very much enjoyed it. Beach Retreat 407 was a wonderful condo, especially the view. We also appreciated the semi-private beach access directly in front of the property, as opposed to taking a hike to reach the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella were lovely, as was the pool. In fact, the pool was awesome.
Because the experience was so good, we hesitate to list any improvements we feel could be made, because they are so minor. But, we feel there could be a little more seating in the den, maybe one more easy chair. Also, the vent fan in the master bathroom could be replaced with a fan/light combo, as it was a little dark in there. And the TV in the bunk room could be connected to the cable. Lastly, the most important thing, and the only major complaint. The numeric keycode door lock was disabled more than an hour before the scheduled check out time. We can fully understand resetting the code at the check out time, as I'm sure someone in the past has probably tried to take advantage of the situation and snuck back in for a quick shower before the trip home, interfering with the cleaning service. But we felt lucky to not have locked ourselves out with some of our belongings still in the condo. Please consider this when setting the computer that controls the key codes.
It was a wonderful vacation in a wonderful condo, though. -

This was our first visit to Destin and it was so much fun. Check-in was easy and the BR 407 was clean and ready for us. The first thing we did each morning was to go out on the balcony and enjoy the view. We will definately stay at Beach Retreat again. Thank you Newman-Daily for helping us find a superb spot in Destin.

This was a great condo. The location is fabulous and the view was breathtaking. If you cannot find a place directly on the beach, this is just as good. Currently, there is nothing blocking the view from your balcony and the walk to the beach is very short. The condo had everything you would ever need from Televisions to appliances and utensils in the kitchen. The pool, spa, and work out room were also nice. During the summer, this could get very crowded however. It paid to go in November when traffic was light. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay, a great view of the beach, a short strole to the beach, and proximity to shopping and restaurants.

We absolutely loved our condo at Beach Retreat! It was perfect for us and our 8 year old son! He loved his bunk beds and it has the best view from the balcony! It is VERY convenient to the beach and has a great pool close by as well and we had perfect weather! We will definitely be back to 407 and hope to be back same time next year! Newman-Dailey was great and so kind to provide the goodie bag when we checked in. Thanks so much for a wonderful family vacation!

We stayed at BR407 and it was the BEST.
The minute we walked into the condo and saw the beach right across the street, we knew we were in for a great time. The condo was SOOOO beautiful, the walls were painted so nice and the red ceiling was perfect. It was clean, nice upkeep and had everything you could want, especially in the kitchen. Everytime I looked for something, it was there! The condo was large. We spent alot of time on the wonderful balcony, enjoying the beach, wave sounds and sunsets. Also enjoyed the daily dog parade down below as everyone walked their dogs.
Close to beach,dining, shopping what more could you want. Will definately be back. Second time to rent thru Newman Dailey and have had a great experience both times. -

This is a great condo with a wonderful beach view. You can hear the waves even with the glass door closed. The decor was very nice and beachy. The only downfall was the master bed was a little hard and uncomfortable, but with the views who cares. Overall it was a GREAT place.

Dear Newman Dailey,
This was my families third year and stay with the Beach Retreat. For two years in a row we were able to rent the exact same unit, but this year it was not available so we had to choose another unit we were a little disappointed but when we got to the condo that all changed itwas just as nice as the other unit we stayed in and also it was on the fourth floor so we had an even better view of the beach. Like I mentained ealier this was our third year to stay with Newman Dailey's Beach Retreat and we don't believe we could find a better place to stay. We love the fact that it is gated it mkes you feel more secure in staying there also the units are wonderful, the pool is GREAT, and the views well OH MY GOSH they are the BEST!!!!!!!!!! Every year I personally look through every single one of the condos that ya'll offer and I always come back to the Beach Retreat that is how much my family and I love it. We had a little problem with the TV in BR407, the power button on the Tv itself was completely gone and the remote was not working, but we put in a call about it and you sent someone out with a new remote right away. Would not have worry about it but we have a daughter and she loves to have TV at night so the service for getting it fixed was GREAT. We have only stayed in two of the units at the BR, but both of them are so wonderful that I told my husband that I could live there all the time thats how much I love the BR. You can rest assured that we will be back time and time again. Thanks for another year of a WONDERFUL stay with Newman Dailey BR.

We really enjoy staying at The Beach Retreat. We love the location, the proximity to the beach. Right across the street, with nothing but a great ocean view directly in front of you. Unit BR407 was very nice. We have stayed at Beach Retreat the last two times we have gone to Destin and love it. Kirby was great with Newman-Dailey. She also booked a friend of mine the previous week at Beach Retreat. Kirby is great to deal with and goes above and beyond what she has to do. Great property , Kirby great assitance with Newman-Dailey. We will return next summer.
