We have stayed at Edgewater Beach Condominiums several times before but this was the 1st time in unit #601. It has everything a person would require for a relaxing stay. The decor is lovely & sufficiently "beachy" without hitting you over the head. Everything has been updated. My husband really liked the large flat screen television & wi-fi so we could use our laptop computer. The unit is situated close to the elevators which makes it handy for carrying groceries from the garage. We have stayed in units closer to the beach in earlier visits & we weren't sure if we would like being back so far in the building. But, we found it really didn't matter. We still had a great view and we were only a short walk away from the pools & beach. Loved it.

Edgewater was beautiful. Their grounds are amazing. There are things that should be updated, which I believe they are working on, but overall what a great place. The only downfall was towards the end of our stay there were large groups of families in one Condo, 9 in one and 14 in another, we feel there should be a limit into how many people are in one Condo. They were very loud. The owners we rented off of, said no more than 6 in theirs. The owners we rented from were wonderful.

We had such a wonderful time staying at Edgewater 601. The condo was very clean and well kept. The grounds were well landscaped and staff were courteous and very helpful. This was the perfect place to get away with teenage children. Our girls had the best time and said it was their best vacation ever!There was plenty to see and do in this great city. Wonderful places to eat and shop. We have fallen in love with Destin! Will be back for sure and hopefully staying again at Edgewater 601. Thank you Connie and Bob for your hospitality! You have such a precious spot on the gulf.

We had beautiful weather and the condo was stunning.
Everything from the cleanliness and furnished kitchen
to the pools,hot tub and sunset, we enjoyed the week
tremendously. The owner even called to make sure
we had arrived and make sure everything was ok.

This condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The resort itself was so beautiful and the week we were there the weather was wonderful. The staff and owners answered all our questions and were very professional. We would stay here again for sure! We love Destin, when we were not soaking in the sunshine we could always find something to do and great places to eat!

We loved our stay at Edgewater. The owners and staff at Compass were very helpful. The owners called us once before our stay and once after we arrived to check on us and give us their contact information if we needed it. Everything was beautiful; the beach, the condo, the facilities. We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the other guests at Edgewater. I think this has been the best place we have ever stayed while on vacation.

Check in was a breeze with Compass, which was easy to locate. All instructions were precise. Unit 601 was neat and well stocked, with recent updates. There was easy pool and beach access and comfortable balcony furniture. The free beach umbrella and 2 chairs were a real plus. Connie was very pleasant to deal with. Thanks again!!!

We enjoyed working with the condo owners, Bob and Connie albright. They were very helpful, especially with the oil situation. They gave us frequent updates and made sure we were taken care of. Compass Resorts were quick and easy to work with as well when booking, picking up keys, and dropping off keys. The 601 unit we were in was fabulous and updated. The building and pool of Edgwater Resort itself seemed a bit outdated and I wasn't impressed with other units I looked at online, but 601 exceeded our expectations. The location was convenient, though the directions to the condo from the Compass office were a bit long. We had an anxious toddler in the car after driving 14 hours and would have liked the fastest way to the condo after getting the keys. We figured that route out later. The unit itself was very nice and organized and had everything we needed. The one thing I thought could have been improved was the cleaning service. There was quite a bit of hair left from previous guests on the floors and in the shower of the master bedroom. Noise from the guests above us was a problem during several nights, but these things are out of the control of the condo owners and Compass. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Destin soon.

Condo was great. Beach was great. Condo had everything you would need plus. Great balcony furniture.Wonderful owners and people at Compass Resort very nice. Owners really cared about our stay and called us to check on how things were going and sent an e-mail when we got home to make sure we arrived safely. Owners went out of their way to make our stay perfect as we were celebrating a belated anniversary.

This unit has everything you can think of and then some. It is laid out well, is tastefully and comfortably furnished and has every upgrade. Connie, the owner, cares about her guests enough to call during your stay to make sure you have everything you could possibly want. Edgewater itself has the most wonderful view of the beach and the most well groomed grounds. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Compass Resorts were great! The condo owners were phenomenal! Beautiful resort with beautiful beach. Beach service attendants were as sweet as the days were hot. Will always consider Compass Resorts when booking our next vacation!

We stayed in the condo for one week with another couple. We had plenty of space and it really felt like home. We had everything we needed, and if we were missing anything it was located very close to stores. There was a beautiful view of the gulf and if it was too cool on the beach, we spent time at the pool behind a wind break. The owners have a binder full of menus and pamphlet ideas, so you never have to wonder what to do. I'd definitely stay again.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Condo #601. Check in at Compass Resorts was efficient, and the condo was ready when we arrived, which was great! The condo was clean and tastefully decorated, and everyone we came in contact with was very friendly. The beach was very nice, and Connie had many amenities for our use throughout the home. It was so nice receiving a call from her the day after our arrival! Connie was also wonderful in sending me recommendations,and we found a binder in the condo with everthing you could possibly want to do in Destin! If I were to complain about anything, it was the construction going on next door. They would start very early in the morning and continue throughout the day, but that is not the fault of either the rental company or the condo owner...just our misfortune since we had a toddler who would be awaken early in the AM and again during his nap to the noise next door. Should we return again to Destin in the future, I would be inclined to once again book through VRBO and Compass Resorts, and if available, rent from Bob and Connie Albright's Edgewater #601....thanks to all!! It was truly "Home Away From Home."

We had the best time EVER! This was home away from home. The Albrights have taken every step to assure that their guests are more than comfortable. This condo was so clean and fresh it squeaked. We ate breakfast on the veranda every morning, watched the dolphins. Took long walks on the white (powdered sugar) beach, watched the sun set in the evening. It was pure paradise. If you’re looking for that perfect get-away, take advantage of unit 601’s hospitality, you won’t regret it.

From the time we drove into Destin we loved it! The beach water was gorgeous. The condo was clean, plenty of room, everything you need is provided for your use, close to all activities and restaurants, a manuel with great information is provided by the owners, very secure and safe, and easy access to the beach! There is so much offered and so much to do. We had so much fun that we again intend to return to the same place and use the same room! Wonderful experience! Thanks Connie for checking up on us our first day there too. We will return.

Loved the apartment we stayed in. Kitchen was great and fully equipped. Thought the deckchair policy on the beach was flakey. Went down to beach and their were about 50 empty chairs. My two sons and myself sat down to read when a guy came over and told me I had to move as we could only use two chairs - rather sad I thought when there were so many empty ones available.
I also left my camera on the main bed - remembering it on the way home. But alas it wasn't to be found by the staff - someones walking around with a lucky find!!!! -

This was the perfect after holiday get away for my family. The unit had everything we needed, from the kitchen, to the washer and dryer. We found ourselves looking at the wonderful eatery book the owners have put together with menus and information about the entire area. That was great! Location is awesome. Shopping was great. Haven't had that much relaxin' in years! Will definitely be back. Thanks!

The location is ideal - close to shopping (Silver Sands Outlet) and grocery (Winn Dixie and Brunos) and not far from other places of interest. The beaches are beautiful, the hot tub is wonderful, and the underground parking was a bonus. The condo is lovely - comfortable and cozy with a fabulous view. The owners made sure we had lots of information about things to do and see and places to eat and called to make sure we got there safely. I can highly recommend staying here!

As a new family of mixed children for my second husband we enjoyed a wonderful week of closeness and suddenly realized that six grown adults was a little cramped. Other than that our stay was most pleasant. The unit was well equipped and had above average ammenties. Parking at times was an issue but we felt that was more an issue with the security personel. The pools were great and the bar personel were pleasant and cheerful a had great food. The view was wonderful although we had anticapated being closer to the beach. All and all we had a great stay and would certainly love to stay again one year.

This unit was absolutely spotlessly clean, had a great balcony view of the resort grounds, pools, and beach. It was perfectly equipped with great-quality cookware and utensils. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. The decor was very classy but comfortable. The linens were all top quality, and they even provided extra blankets and pillows for us. The swimming pools were spotlessly clean. It was awesome having the FREE beach chairs and umbrella provided. This property is literally within walking distance of two grocery stores, a few restaurants, and the outlet mall. Heaven!

The condo was clean and neat. The location is great for going to stores. The July 4th party on the beach was beauitful you could see fire works from Fort Walton all the way to panomo city. Would go back!
