We've been coming to these units for over 15 years and enjoy the view from the front units every year when available. The location is within walking distance of several outstanding restaurants and the beach is just a short walk across the street. We also have the added convenience of a an onsite pool which is a good alternative to the sandy beaches. No reason to look elsewhre for your stay here in the Destin Beach area.

My family and I loved our stay in your unit. We had plenty of room for 6 of us to sleep and stay comfortable for the full week. Check in was a breeze with a super helpful staff who even called me on our way in to tell me about the lock box just in case they were gone before we made it in. The location to the beach was the highlight. We could walk back and forth, the kids could run back and grab food, or nap. They also loved the pool, which was awesome because we could see them swimming from our balcony. Thanks again for a great time, we hope to visit again next summer!!

We loved the condo, and its location. great access to the beach. The issues we had were with parking, registration, and check out. Called ahead to tell office we would be checking in right at 5 pm, we were told they would be there until 6pm. Office locked up and dark at 4:55 pm. Never talked to anyone until owner of another unit called the police because we parked a uhaul trailer in one of our two parking spots. We were never told about not being able to park a trailer on site. When we went to the office we were told it was a problem we would have to solve, the rude lady said she had no idea what we could do with the trailer but that it couldn't be left anywhere on the property. When we found a storage facility we were told this is a universal problem in Destin. No one is told they can't park boats, see doos, trailers, Winnebago's or any thing of this type on most properties. It is not information given until you have driven over 13 hours to get there and then told it is your problem to solve, "Welcome to Destin". Again with our check out being on a Saturday morning, and you are penalized $50 for checking out after hours which includes weekends, we went to the office on Friday morning to check out, it was CLOSED. We called the 800 number given and were told to place our keys in the express check out box and we would not be charged an additional fee. So for a nice condo, great location, and a great vacation, we left feeling that the customer service was not up to par for the money we paid. We were not treated like any one cared if we ever came back.

We you reserve your rental with our company you must agree to read the terms and conditions of the reservation. It clearly states that NO boats, trailors, RV's are allowed at any of our properties. It's always a good idea to ask if you are not going to read what you agree to. We are truely sorry that this happened.

I had a very great relaxing time. Gulf Winds was a very nice place to stay. It was very close to all shops and attractions in the Destin area. I will plan to use them in the future.

I have been staying on this property for 18 years. I have always enjoyed the stay. the units wre always clean and uncluttered. We asked not to stay in Unit #3 because of the clutter of FAKE PLANTS, which I hate. My husband made the reservation in person while there on business. I will never stay in this unit again, until the clutter is removed! If you have small children or allergies...DO Not Rent This Unit! The Gate to the Pool was a good idea. However, the idiot who installed it did not think about a handicapped person or a person in a wheel chair. The gate is not wide enough to enter the pool. Also, the sidewalk ends at the gate, No Entrance There! You have to walk around to get in and the closest entrance has stairs. When you enter there are ALL of the chairs lined up with people in them. You can't even get around them!
