Luau at Sandestin is located on the beach-side of the five star Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. The condominiums offers many amenities for its guests. There is a community pool that is heated during the winter months as well as a hot tub and kiddie pool! There is a poolside bar and outdoor grills. So, you can cook out and have cocktails while enjoying the beautiful weather outside. You will also find an exercise room in this beautiful gated community.

Luau 6427 was great for 2 adults, 1 yr old, 4 yr old and an 8 yr old. The place was clean and had all the essentials to start us off. Would recommend bringing a folding wagon for your stay. The walk to the beach from Luau II was not far and would be very easy for 5 year olds and up. However, it does get hot and the little ones do get tired from the heat. The kids loved the pool. They beach was great. Loved it more in the pm when all the chairs from Sandestin/Hilton were taken down. If you want to enjoy some jet skiing do not go to the marina at Sandestin - they are strict about it being 6 and up. We went to the harbor for jet skiing with the kids. They had a blast on the jet skiis.

Everything was great - room, service and checkin in. Was a little confused on where to go and check in but after I found out where it was fine. I plan on using this same company next year for my company trip planning back to Destin.

We really enjoyed being at the Luau. From the time we checked in till the time we departed it was very welcoming and relaxing. The condo was really nice, comfortable and convenient. My husband was very impressed and enjoyed working out in the fitness room. There was a short walk to the beach, a restaurant and bathroom facility if needed. The beach was great and umbrellas and chairs were available to rent. The pool was very spacious with plenty of lounge chairs and a nice waterfall which made it that much more relaxing. We were centrally located to anything we needed or wanted to do. It's a very nice place to go and I'd recommend it to my friends as well as coming back myself.

The condo was clean and well kept but the bed was well worn with a matress in need of replacement.
The property was nice with a large pool area.

I must say I was pretty nervous booking this because I had never rented a condo before. the people at Cryle Leike was exceptional. They were extremely courteous, responded to all my emails and phone calls. Even allowed me to check in a couple of hours early at no cost. We drove 11 hours and was exhausted but the place was very clean and convenient to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We will be going back for sure.

The luau 6427 unit was okay. Unit was just average. Bathroom very small and not enough starter supplies for even 2 people. I brought extra toilet paper and soap which we needed to use. Carpets were stained and buckling. We were told the unit was cleaned and when we got there the cleaning man was just beginning to clean as previous renters had not checked out unitl after 2PM.

Place was very nice & great location - however not directly on beach....would have been a super trip with awesome friends had we not ended up with the flu!!! Would definitely stay there again!

This is the first time that we've rented a condo so we're newbies to the idea. I was looking for a place that was walking distance to the beach and that had a washer & dryer. We have a 3, 2 & 1 year old, so we were looking for something safe and convenient for the family. Our plans were to go to the beach, eat at nice places and enjoy the pool. So after exploring some hotel options including the nearby Hilton, this one looked enticing.
The reservation went smoothly. It was handled professionally over the phone. Our check in was fine. The only issue was that the condo wasn't cleaned when we arrived. So I put a call into the office and they had someone come into the room to address it in less than 10 minutes. Superb response time and attentiveness to detail in the cleaning.
The condo itself was clean and nice. Everything was in fairly new condition. The one thing I liked was the dining room area was very open, so we had plenty of room. In some hotel rooms, once you put your luggage on the floor, you have to hop over it for the durection. No issue here. The pool was nice. It has a kiddie pool and a regular pool, all heated.
Beachwise, it's just a short walk away. I'm not sure if all condos have it, but the condo had some beach toys for the kids which was great!
In regards to location, it's in the Sandestin resort so you can drive to the Baytowne Wharf for dining. Up the street is the upscale Grand Blvd center which has a Publix grocery store, an ice cream shop, PF Changs, etc.
I'd recommend this location and Crye-Leike Coastal Realty to all for a great vacation experience. -

The resort was wonderful. The condo was comfortable and spacious. Husband loved the free golf. Couldn't have been better. Thank you!
