I can't say enough about this unit, property grounds and beach. I have stayed many places in Destin and Gulf shores and this ranks among the top. The bed was so comfortable and after walking the beach and seeing the other resorts packed like sardines I was thankful to be at Edgewater. Every thing starting from making reservations to checking out went perfectly. We definately hope to return.

This was the perfect place to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and to enjoy a relaxing getaway from our very hectic lives. I liked that the property was not a high rise so the beach and pools were not overcrowded. The beach attendants were very nice and kept the beaches clean. This particular unit was wonderful. All the accomodations of home. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning on the balcony. Would love to stay here again.

We have just returned from another 5 week stay at Edgewater #405. Compass provided us with the necessary information and package on Check-in and even though we left before their opening hours, they saw me at the door so came and took the pkg. from me to save me putting it in the lock box.The condo is so comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The bed is super comfortable. You can watch the dolphins from the balcony. Spend the day at the beach using their beach chairs and umbrella set up each day by Eric and the boys. The Tiki Bar at the pool has great lunches at reasonable prices and the grounds are so well kept. We will definitely be back.

Our favorite spot for vacation over any other. This was our first time staying at the Edgewater and by far, one of our favorite vacations just yet. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated, truly home away from home not to mention the beautiful clear water and white sandy beaches...nothing like it!!! We would love to vacation and stay in this condo again. Thanks Pat! :-)

The unit is exceptionally well furnished with a nice view overlooking the grounds, pools, any Gulf beyond. Beach chairs included and two flat screens are nice additional features. The grounds are very well maintained.

Had a wonderful time. The condo was decorated beatifully. Very clean, didn't lack for a thing. The view was awsome. I already want to go back. Will definitevely book it again next year. Everything was close by and we didn't have to go very far.

The room is very clean and decorated well. The balcony is large and has a great view. The King size bed is very comfortable. My only complaint is the long walk to the beach. It is also about 15 minutes from Destin Beach shops and restaurants but this was nice for us because we avoided the heavy crowds.

This condo is well-equipped, beautifully decorated, and the owners are great to work with. When we arrived at Compass there was an error in our departure date and the response when I questioned this ( even though I had the paper work they had sent to me) was indicating that I was in a snit. I had travelled about 7 hours and expected a more pleasant arrival. She even had to call the owner to check that what I was saying was correct...even with the proof on paper from them originally.

We have stayed in the Edgewater for several years and found this to be the best value in a great location. Edgewater is close to everything and on a beautiful section of beach. The condo is very well appointed and we did not want for anything other than a longer stay.

My husband and I stayed in Edgewater 405 and were very pleased with the condo and especially the decor. We were also impressed with the fact that the kitchen and bathroom were stocked so well. We had all the utensils that we needed for cooking and more towels and wash cloths than we have had in other units.
The owners were great to work with and would definitely stay in this unit again when we need a one bedroom condo. Thanks to the Robbins for a allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. -

We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater Resort. The first night we arrived we discovered that the sleeper sofa was non-functional. I contacted Compass Resorts and the Customer Service Representative was sympathetic attentive to our needs. Although our sleeping arrangements weren't ideal the representative remedied the situation. Due to the excellent customer service that me and my family received we will use Compass Resorts again in the future.

We love staying at the Edgewater Resort. Children friendly in everyway. Just wish the barbaque area was a little bigger with more tables for eating outside while the children play in the play area. Everything else was excellant.

I have been visting Edgewater Beach for approximately seven years. I checked rates at Edgewater and then at Compassresorts. It was almost 50% cheaper. The staff was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I will go through Compassresorts again in a heartbeat. The condo was perfect, well kept, clean, and decorated well. Extra nice bath towels as well. Perfection!!
I've already recommended it to several friends and plan to back very soon! -

Beautifully and professionally decorated condo with a pretty good view of the beach. Nice patio area to relax and just sit and watch. We would sit drinking coffee in the mornings, eat breakfast and lunch on the patio and relax in the evenings and just watch, listen and feel the ocean. Wonderful place.
If I could make one suggestion in that the mattress could stand to be replaced as it has started its sink.
The Edgewater Resort grounds were very nice and kept and hallways and trash were often cleaned. Good presence of maintanence and cleaning crews which was nice to see. Felt very secure here as well but no security gate from beach access that we could tell. One wish would to update the pool area to somehow create one large pool and make it more aesthetic looking maybe with a waterfall, palms and tables to add some shade for sitting to the pool area.
But overall very impressed with this resort. Have stayed at Silver Shells the previous three years and although Edgewater is a bit older, we liked it just as much. -

This is a wonderful condo, extemely clean and beautifully decorated. It is well-appointed with all necessities needed. The bed was super comfortable and the view is incredible. This is a quiet complex and the beach is fabulous.

The owner and compass resorts were exellent to deal with. The condo was well
equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, glassware etc. There were plenty of
towels, facecloths etc. The unit must have been decorated by professional
decorators as everything was beautifully co-ordinated.
The location was accesible to shopping, restaurants etc. especially the ? one
mile long shopping plaza right across the street. The Carabas restaurant
directly across the street is a must place to go for dining.
Unfortunately, we were vacationing during the worst winter in decades. Even
tho' it was cold in the a.m.'s & p.m.'s, it was comfortable weather wise during
the day when the sun shone.
We would certainly recomend this unit to anyone. -

We really enjoyed the view, kitchen and the balcony. Best of all was that it included daily beach service. They could not find our name on the list but were always helpful and never gave us a problem about using the chairs. The beach service MADE the condo worth the money because some other things left much to be desired. The master bedroom is cramped and the mattress is terrible. We split our nights between the bed and the pullout sofa - the pullout won for comfort. The mattress needs to be replaced badly. The bathroom was nice but the tub was not enjoyable - showers were great. And now to the internet service (or lack thereof)... we had to sit on the balcony to keep connection! This was one of my main concerns when choosing a condo to rent because WiFi was a must due to the amount of work I knew I'd be doing while on vacation. Overall, we would return to the condo only if the mattress had been replaced and the WiFi was improved. Great kitchen though - absolutely perfect! Decor - perfect too! Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

My wife and two yr old son stayed here and had one of the best weeks together as a family. The accomodations were very nice, the condo was incredible with up-to-date furnishings and everything you would need. Having the beach chairs provided was very convienent with a little one. Edgewater has everything to offer without ever leaving, the gym was very nice and bigger than I expected for those who like to continue their workouts on vacation. Our son loved the beach and the pool as well as the jungle gym. The location of Edgewater is perfect with the outlet malls within walking distance and all of what Destin has to offer within minutes via car. My only complaint, which is picky, was that the bed was hard and not that comfortable for those who are used to a soft bed. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, we hope to come back again next year.

We absolutely fell in love with this condo as soon as we walked through the front door! It was decorated beautifully and felt like home right away! Everything we could possibly want or need was there to make our stay easy and perfect!
The view from our balcony was gorgeous and it was such a delight eating our meals there. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation and we will be going back! -

The condo was beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and evening and listening to the waves. The washer/dryer came in handy!
Few suggestions--make sure the code Compass Resorts gives you works--we had to call and wait for someone to help us get in which was a little frustating when you are standing in the heat with kids. Also, it would be nice to have directions how to get on the wireless internet in the condo somewhere--we had to call to find out how.
We'd definitely stay again though!! -

Everyone I spoke with at Compass Resorts was extremely nice & helpful. We loved our Condo, Edgewater #405, it was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed on our trip. The moment we walked in the home we were very pleased with our choice, the pictures we saw online did not do justice for the beautiful interior decorating. The private beach & two pools were a big plus as well. We also liked being very close to a grocery store, pharmacy & the outlet mall. The thing we liked best was that the condo made us feel like we were home away from home :) Our only complaint would be the distance from Destin, but it definitely will not keep us from staying here again!!!

We stayed at this condo 4 days during Memorial Day - It was the perfect setting. From your balcony and could see and hear the waves - great view. Plenty of room and closet space. The two pools and hot tub was wonderful. It was really nice to have a Tiki bar on the beach where you could order drinks and food. I highly recommend this condo for your next stay. Suwanee, GA
