Collierville, TNPerfect escape
Left on 10/30/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We were looking for a complete beach experience and staying at the Edgewater will provide this. Loved having the beach and gulf in full view from the unit and the short walk to the sand. The unit provided all that a family of five would need. Will definitely return.

Wonder Woman
AtlantaNice decor, but some maintenance issues
Left on 09/27/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We chose this unit because the decor seemed to be more toddler friendly than some others with iron furniture and "busy" entertainment centers. In this regard, we were not disappointed and were quite pleased with the nice furniture. However, due a couple of maintenance issues, we will definitely not choose this unit again unless they were addressed. First of all, the air vent in the master bedroom makes a loud, rattling noise any time the a/c is running. So loud, I would have to wear earplugs each night, which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient. Calls to maintenance regarding this problem were ignored. Secondly, none of the interior doors have door stops, causing them to unintentionally lock any time a door was opened wide enough to hit the wall behind it and press the lock. Needless to say, with two toddlers around, doors were locking on us all day, each day, and we spent a considerable amount of time picking locks. Extremely frustrating! One last thing, unless you absolutely need the second bedroom to have 2 full size beds, I suggest you choose a unit with less sleeping space. The door to this second bedroom does not open because one of the beds blocks the door, so you have to enter the room from the adjacent bathroom door. It's worth the trouble if you absolutely need two doubles, but a hassle if you don't. Last year we stayed in a unit where the second bedroom had two twins, and we did not have this problem. We love the property in general and plan to return, but we would not recommend this particular unit.

COOKEVILLE TNWonderful vacation, my Grandaughters first visit to the ocean!
Left on 06/04/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I have been staying at the Edgewater for about 12 years now, the condo has been rented under someone Elses name. We love it there and have always been pleased. This year the condo was great but I did have one concern. 4 out of the 5 people staying got very sick. I got sick, my son and his 2 daughters got sick. We were concerned that something was wrong in the condo but have no idea what it could have been. The condo was clean and very nice. It seemed like Everytime the aC unit kicked on everyone started coughing. My son ended up at the urgent care twice and my G daughter at the ER when we got home. We did manage to still have a wonderful time, before we all got so sick... We love the area and everything about the Edgewater and will Definetly be back. It is my favorite vacation spot!!

Great get-away with friends from Scotland
McDonough, GAA wonderful stay in Unit 1502
Left on 09/28/2011 for a stay in September 2011
My wife and I traveled to Destin with friends from Scotland in September, 2011. We were greeted at Edgewater with a very cordial staff member who made the check-in experience very easy and friendly. We stayed in Unit 1502 and found it to be very well decorated, clean and comfortable. The only inconvenience was that the beds in the smaller bedroom were arranged in a wy that the door to the room would not close. We were treated great by staff throughout our 4 night stay. The pools, exercise room and all parts of the resort were clean and well-kept. This was our fourth stay there and we will definitely visit again.

Allen, TXGreat family fun - we love Destin
Left on 09/08/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Accommodations did not disappoint - I had two younger kids ages 9 & 12 and 2 18 year olds. The unit provided a separate bathroom for the teenagers, and was clean and nice. The bathtub drain was very slow, I felt the unit should have dish soap, and a few more utensils. The grounds were great both the pools were great, having the food stand with alcohol came in handy. The ocean was great - 1st two days the seaweed has awful but still had fun.
