The name of this colorful Destin vacation home says it all! Soleil Levant is French for “Rising Sun” signifying the dawn of a gorgeous retreat for you
and your loved ones.
Let your vacation rise to a new level where the beauty of the beachside community Neighborhood of Caribe and the charm and charisma of Soleil
Levant combine to create an ideal getaway.
So many attributes make this home truly unique -stained concrete floors, a yellow spiral staircase connecting three levels and eye-catching original
artwork. Plus an old-fashioned clawed bathtub in the master bathroom, a fire-engine-red kitchen and a top floo...r with two balconies overlooking the
Gulf and the lily pad clad lake give this Destin beach home real character.
It’s perfectly situated for enjoying the beautiful Destin sunshine being only a few steps from the Gulf, three houses past one of Caribe’s pools and boasts its own private pool and grill deck in the landscaped back yard.
Soleil Levant enjoys the distinction of being part of the Neighborhood of Caribe, one of Destin’s most beautiful beachfront communities. All the homes here are
stunning, each with an island feel and exceptional architecture. Moreover, its tree lined streets lead you south to the amazing Gulf of Mexico or north
to hwy 98 and just short of the Silver Sands Factory Outlet Stores.

This was our second Girls' Week at Soleil Levant. We love that the beach is a vacant lot and two houses away! No more fighting for a parking space, hauling fourteen tons of chairs, umbrellas, and supplies to find our spot near the water. The private beach has fewer people. If anyone in the group is more likely to burn (me), the house is a short walk and the private pool awaits! We love that each one us has our own space. I love to stay in the cupola, with its two balconies and ocean view. The other three use the bedrooms and fold out couch downstairs. The kitchen has everything we need, and the washer/dryer makes packing easy. My favorite place, though, is the back porch by the pool...morning coffee, sounds of the waves, serenity that refreshes and restores. Loved it! Hope to be back next year.

The only problem that we found with this home was the spiral staircase. It was difficult to manuever luggage and I went upstairs as little as possible. Other than thay the home was very nice.
Great house, but not for everyone!

This house has a great location for the beach. You are sitting on the private beach in 2 minutes. This house has a pool that is super nice because the neighborhood has 2 pools and one is tiny. Neighborhood is super quiet and very relaxing. House is nice, but has a few things that are not for everyone. The spiral stairs are awful!!! If you have young kids or elderly, I would not stay in this house. The stairs are so awful, I almost wanted to leave and rent something else.Trying to get luggage upstairs is a nightmare because they get smaller the higher you go. It made us dizzy the first few times going up and down them. Bedrooms are roomy, but the 2nd bedroom has a little trundle thing that only a small child would sleep on. Also, the 3rd bedroom on the very top is not really a bedroom. It is a room only to look at the view. It is super tiny with not even something I would ever sleep on and you don't want your kids up there because it is right next to the steps, no door. This house should say 2 bedrooms, not three. If it is only a couple of adults, it would be fine house to stay in. If anymore, you will not be happy with sleeping situation. Living room furniture has stains, but is comfy. Outdoor patio and pool was the best part of being at the house beside the great beach access. I stay in Destin a lot all year around and would not stay here again due to having a young child.
Quiet Poolside Retreat

This home is awesome! My favorite aspect of the house is the porch and private pool. Though the beautiful Destin white sands and azure waters were a very short walk away, I spent every morning reading by the pool and taking a dip at will. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the three full baths and outside shower made life easy. This house has a view of the ocean from the front balconies, and is a peaceful, refreshing retreat!
Beautiful house-easy access to beach

Beautiful house. Nice pool with stereo outside. Easy access to beach. Oy downfall was it was a pet friendly house and we didn't know. House. Could've been cleaner-pool had dog hair all in it when we arrived.

Was told from Newman staff that this home would be the perfect rental for our family which consists of 2 children, ages 3 and 1. This rental was horrible, extremely dirty painted floors which were peeling, no mop or cleaner anywhere present. My one year old kept trying to peel the paint and eat it, so relaxing for me and that is just the beginning. Steel, spiral staircase in the middle of the home. I could not block it off at all, again remember this home is suppose to be perfect for my family, what? They completely lied this home is no way a 3 bedroom, they call the lookout pad a room and believe me it is no bedroom. Upon arrival pool was dirty but cleaning service showed up 3 days later. There is no skimmer or any typical pool supplies to use when needed, ridiculous. Stairs leading you into the pool are painted so they are extremely slippery, again suppose to be great for children. All the the furniture both inside and out were old, dirty and falling apart. The kitchen has black ants all over and we killed several huge roaches. The distance to the beach is great. The neighborhood, caribe, is wonderful but Soleil is horrible. Completely disappointed! The whole reason why I used Newman Dailey was because I wanted to be assured I was getting something that would be great for my family considering they are so young but Newman Dailey did not deliver. Fabulous house, fabulous neighborhood

We had a fantastic week. The house is beautiful and do is the private pool. The location was great. We were 2 houses away from the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet. There were no college kids while we were there. We took my in laws and 7 year old daughter. It was perfect. For future renters, the home is listed as a 3 bedroom but really is a 2 bedroom with small loft. The loft is on the 3rd floor do not good for seniors or small children.

The location and time of year was excellent! Not much traffic in Destin and subdivision was very quiet and peaceful. Next time I will find a home with a heated pool. Amenities were great especially the golf.

We come to Destin every year and even own a condominum there but this house is where we stay when we want easy beach access and funky living quarters. This year was out third time at Soleil and it didn't disappoint. The house is clean and comfortable and the private pool is a definite plus. When you see Soleil for the first time you just know you're going to have a great week. The only negative comment came from the kids who said the mattresses in the guest room were uncomfortable.

This house was located in a very elite gated community. Waking up to a beautiful pool out back was amazing! The beach was a short walk away, and the beach was nice and not crowded. We would highly recommend this house.

The house was as advertised. The check-in and
checkout process was ultra smooth. The best vacation
home rental in Florida. I will highly recommend to
all my friends and family.
Average amenities and a poorly designed staircase

The home was in decent condition overall, but it could definitely use a regular pest control visit. The Florida cockroaches are huge enough to be caged and they belong outdoors, not in the pantries, cupboards, and bathroooms. After recovering from our fear of falling from the tin-foil staircase, my family was able to manage getting up and down with minimal scratches on our heels. Honestly, rubber bumpers would make a huge difference and add a feeling of security when using the flimsy stairs. The basic cable was a generous offer, but HBO would definitely make up for having only one DVD player in the great room. The bedrooms have outdated TVs and one even has a TV/VCR combo... Hello 1989. The best feature this home has to offer is the pool, which was very well maintained. It would have been nice to have an air pump for all those wonderful water toys to play with. Again, the property was an overall nice place to vacation, it just needs a little modernization. Read more

The location is excellent for dining and shopping. The neighborhood is beautiful! Unfortunately the house view is of "Camping on the Beach" (RV park), but the beach is a very short walk away. The man in charge of the chairs was rude about us brining our own chairs and umbrella.
The housekeeping was disappointing. We found several roaches (deal and alive), dirty bathcloths, pet hair on the outside furniture, and sand in the pool. Several things were stained, too.
Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing time though, and the employees of Newman-Dailey are a pleasure!
