This property has a Saturday to Saturday requirement during Spring Break and a three night minimum over holidays. **The 4th of July requires a weekly stay** All other times there is no minimun requirement.

We always appreciate the expert, prompt service from Newman-Dailey. Our time at Blue Surf is something we look forward to all year. The facilities were in very good shape, and the amenities and the location right across the road from the beach cannot be beat. The sliding glass door from the apartment to its patio has become hard to slide, however. We hope that will be attended to in the near future.

We enjoyed our unit very much. A few things that would have been helpful would be these three minor things: a light in the dining area, more cookware for the oven, and bigger barstools for adults. The location was very handy for all we did. We would return again.

This is our second time renting this particular unit and it is perfect for us. The size of the unit allows for 4 people to stay comfortably.
Location. location. Location! Right across the street from the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. And the ice cream truck comes by everyday!
The unit has been upgraded since our last stay. New TVs, washer & dryer and new shower have been added. I wasn't sure about the washer & dryer, but was happy to have it and used it many times.
The Newman-Dailey staff are so friendly and they were so helpful. I had originally booked our condo for a different week & when the school changed our Spring Break, I was able to switch our condo reservation without issue. I will always use them to reserve a condo whenever we visit Destin! -

We have stayed at the Blue Surf many times, but not in at least 8 years. It is the perfect location to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
It is assumed that Unit 11a is for two people. There is a king size bed that is a bit too large to accommodate the furniture, so the one night side table is turned toward the bed and renders the drawers useless. The master bedroom double closet has mirrored doors, but there is not a hangar anywhere in the unit. The linens are nubby and need replacing. If you sit on the sofa in the living room, the cushions slip around so that you end up completely rearranging them for comfort. It is positioned against a wall that is far away from the TV console. A swivel chair is placed up near the television without any type of footrest, but a person cannot watch television from the couch is someone is sitting in the chair because the view is blocked.
The bathroom shower is top notch, recently redone with full tile and glass sliding doors, and the vanity is roomy. The only light in the bathroom is a fan-light and is loud to the point where you can't wait to turn it off. The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher and a stackable washer and dryer off of the bathroom. The only light in the kitchen is an under the counter type which is above the sink but no lighting anywhere near the tiny counter where you eat your meals.
The unite overall was very clean. Beach and golf services were a bonus for the price. -

There were 2 adults and 2 children staying in this unit. The bedroom was a good size with a king size bed and flat panel TV. The children slept on the pull out couch in the living area without complaint. The unit was very clean and I loved the fact that the washer and dryer were in the room. It is a ground floor unit with easy parking and access to the beach.

This was wonderful! I had never been to Florida & this was our 1st real vacation/honeymoon since we married in Feb 2008. The room was super clean, well kept - it looked brand new ( much more modern in decor than the pictures on the website show)-loved the hugh shower, the grounds were nicely kept also & right across the street was the sand & ocean. We enjoyed the ocean breeze in the evening from the patio. My husband took advantage of the golf packages & I enjoyed "Me Time" sunning on the beach! We will definitely make this a yearly trip!

Since 1984 we have been coming to the Blue Surf. Location, beach and pool are terrific. We found the unit lacking. May have been painted recently, all pictures off the walls and piled in closet. No room for shoes. Both sink areas had no towel bars. Wet towels don't dry well on the counter. Bare light bulbs in one sink area. Bedroom miniblinds wand broken off so couldn't get shut all the way. Fan in bathroom, and dishwasher extremely noisy. Run dishwasher when your away from the unit. Only one teaspoon, so had to use tablespoons. Kitchen items pretty much a mish/mash of items. Cooking pots were plentiful, but poor stocking of cooking utinsiles. Our family had 6 units rented this week, and all had been nicely updated except this unit in which we stayed. No washer or dryer in unit but note the on grounds washer has only cold water. So had to rewash all my clothes because I used a powder soap in what I thought was warm water. No hot coming out of the hot water hose. We did like the privacy curtain on the sliding door. This could be such a nice unit if updated.

Newman-Dailey exceeded my expectations-GREAT JOB!
They always answered the phone and always returned my calls. 100% satisfaction.
Were not prepared for the traffic we encountered Sat. afternoon.
Had to wait three hours for unit to be released.
Condo was easy to find. Parked at door. Very convenient to beach and amenities. 11-a was very clean, confortable & well equipped. Good pool.
No security issues. A safe would have been much appreciated. Beach and water were PURRFECT! Beach service (chairs & umbrella) very good. Police were not visable, perhaps by design. There was no bad behavior anywhere to be seen or heard. -

Our unit had all the amenities needed and decorated very homey. Not a
highrise, green grass and a walk across the street to the beautiful
white sandy beach. Popano Joe's is right across the steeet and has
great seafood. The designated parking was an asset. We did not have
internet access so had to go to Bad Ass Coffee. We're so thankful to
have run into Gabriele who reccomended this location & unit. Who was
