La Mer Claire was perfect!! We took 3 families and stayed comfortably. It was a good location. The weather was nice and we had a great time. The guest book helped us decide where to eat, and was a success. Overall it was very nice and we plan to visit again.

The house was pretty spacious and clean. Beach access was close and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall an a plus...few sugar ants and no access to park in the garage but the overall all of the positives outweighed those 2 negatives.. :) We were satisfied and will be back.

La Mer is part of the Maravilla complex and that means everything we wanted was within easy proximity. Two pools with one being heated worked very well for the youngest children, 2 and 4. The beach is a short walk and our beach service was included which was wonderful. The home is well organized with 4 bedrooms and a large living room/dining room area. It's a quiet community near to shopping and other activities. We'll definitely go back.

This rental home is close to the beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. Shopping, eating out, and the pools are close and convenient. Southern Vacation Rentals makes it very easy to rent.

The house was great, however we had trouble with the fridge it finally worked on Thursday we arrived on Saturday. Took too long to resolve problem however we asked for late checkout and they granted us that.

This vacation rental is located in a very quite neighborhood. That is what we look for every time we visit. This is out second time staying at this rental, i will rent it again in the future. The only thing is it is a little to far from the pool or beach to far to walk, must drive. The house and the neighborhood are very clean and well maintained.

We received great service when calling Southern Resorts to rent the home. The home was neat and clean and in a quiet area. We enjoyed that. It was not as close to the beach as we thought when we read about the listing. I called fro infoto find the beach accessand was put on hold 4 minutes because the person I was talking to did not know where the beach access was located. The club house was never open and the heated pool was not heated. But we really enjoy Destin and the seafood at Busters, Back Porch, CrabTrap, Fudpuckers, and others. We will try another location next year and more than likely with Southern Resorts. Be sure to visit the Destin Fishing and Heritage Museum.

The house had everything we could think of for our stay, especially the kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom were great, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and enjoyed it everyday. We had plenty of room to lounge in the living room and the dining table was big enough for all of us to eat and play games together. We had a wonderful time in Destin.

The home is cute and has a lot of room especially for a large group of people. The house is in a great location and not too far from the beach. We had issues with the stove, refrigerator, and dryer. Some of the burners on the stove did not heat evenly. The problem was corrected with new burners, but the drip pan under one of the burners didn't fit correctly. It was to be corrected the following day, but never was. The dryer issue had the same outcome. The problem was identified, but not corrected, so it took over 2 hours to dry our clothes. The house was definately worth the rental price, but don't plan on using the appliances regularly or you will be disappointed.

We loved our stay at the La Mer Claire. We had plenty of room and it was close to everything. We could be together as a family which was very important.
The dryer had to be fixed because the hose in the back did not accomodate that type of dryer, but they came right away to fix that. -

We were looking for a house where two families could go with their sons who had just graduated from Ft. Benning. We needed a place large enough that everyone could spread out and relax. We wanted a place that was quiet but close to the beach (which was a short walk away). The house was very clean and bright. Unfortunately the guys had to go back a day early we only had two days to spend there, but would definitely go back again. We felt it was reasonably priced for what we got.

The home was well maintained and lovely. we had 1 small issue with the airconditioning and they promptly came and took care of the problem.We will and have highly recommended the property and Southern Resorts to our friends. We hope to come again. We really enjoyed ourselves!

My family spent a week in this house and loved it. It was spacious and designed well for a larger family. The one problem we had was that the refrigerator would not get cold enough and we had to throw out some food. This wouldn't have happened if maintenance would have corrected the problem instead of telling us on three consecutive days just to give the refrigerator time to cool. The problem was eventually fixed with a new part and Southern Resorts compensated us for the lost food. We'll definitely be coming back!
