McPherson, KSNice, clean & quiet
Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We stayed here for a Spring Break trip with young children (Ages 6-3)with my brother & his family. It was close to the beach with nice accomidations at the beach such as chairs & unbrellas. The heated pool also was good for the kids. There was nothing in the kitchen other then cooking utensiles. Before when we have stayed at Sea Scape, there were some regular cooking items around; olive oil, salt/pepper, some other seasonings. This condo was empty. It added a little extra cost. Other then that is was quiet, clean & fun place to stay.

Quiet, peaceful experience. Nice to be able to have our pets with us. Whales tale restaurant was convenient and the beach umbrella service included was a nice perk. Unit was slightly dated, but comfortable & clean.

Vienna, ILFilled the needs for our time in Destin.

The room was adequate, but needs up dating. Both the upstairs and downstairs patio furniture either needs replacing or major cleaning.
Location was great--close to beach, shopping, and resturants. -

This was my first trip to Destin and I wasn't sure what to expect. My kids loved the space they had on the bottom floor and we loved the master area. The swing on the porch was so nice. I loved the peace and quiet with a short walk to the beach. The only thing I wish the property itself would work on is either a hot tub on the property or an adult only heated pool. I would definately stay here and again and plan on it during my next vacation.

We enjoyed our stay. The grounds of the resort were kept very well and our dog enjoyed walking along the pathways.
Our unit was not up to par, it needed some TLC. The upstairs carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced. The whirlpool needed to be replaced. Also, upstairs the patio door blinds did not work.
Downstairs, the photo on the web showed one chesterfield with two chairs. But we had one chair and a chesterfield, which made it tight with 4 people.
In the kitchen, there were 4 wine glass and an odd assortment of bent knives and forks.
The vacuum cleaner didn't work, it was replaced by a working vacuum cleaner.
I think that Seascape should inspect the rental units and have a standard that these units should make. If they don't make the standard, then they should not be rented out. We would love to come again, but I would have to have a guarantee that the unit was in satisfactory condition. I hope you pass this review onto the owners!
