his place is perfect to relax. Quiet with beautiful view and a great deck you can use. The interior is well put together, very nice and clean. The kitchen is small but well stocked and you can cook (if you really need to during your vacation...) I recommend this condo highly and I am planning to come back

My sister and I spent three wonderful weeks vacation with an amazing bay view in this beautiful studio. There was absolutely nothing missing and the location between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach was just perfect and nicely quiet. Sea World is just around the corner and the accessibility for all the other attractions in San Diego is great! We recommend this place to everybody who's not having a problem with walking some stairs.

Pros: If you have a little one, I definitely recommend staying on the bayfront. The boardwalk by the ocean can get quite crowded and even dangerous at times with bicycles flying by. The bayfront has a gentler pace and the beach is also less crowded. Nicole's property has some grass before the beach as well, which is great to play in! The studio looks exactly like the pictures - cozy decorating, the shower was always warm, and lots of light in the place! The kitchen, though really small, is well equipped. It's also close to paddle-board rentals, a trail, a roller coaster, and a great cafe (Olive Cafe) and bakery (called "Baked" - cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, and blueberry muffins are a must!).
Cons: After having lived here for a week, I would hesitate to recommend it to travelers with older infants in tow (crawling/cruising age). We found it hard to corral our son because it's basically one big open space. We would put him in the pack and play provided with the studio (so nice to have this! Thank you!), but he could still see us! :) We ended up jimmy-rigging the studio by putting the pack and play behind the sofa and some stools so he couldn't see us and we could get some decent sleep. Along with that, the light in the space was a drawback - shorter naps and earlier waking. :( There are also SeaWorld fireworks that go off promptly at 10:00 each night. The only other drawback was the stairs - you have to climb them every time you want to get to the apartment. After a week carrying a 19 pound baby, it got tiring! :) This would be a wonderful place, though, with couples with no children, couples with one older child, a personal retreat (the light through the windows and the view are amazing, and you also have your own private deck! - we went up there every night to pray and talk and it was wonderful! The desk by the windows would be a great place to journal). The only reason we gave it a "good" rating was because it wasn't the most optimal vaca spot for a youngster.

Bay side or Ocean side...? It was a hard decision to come to but so glad we decided to rent this top floor condo unit with the roof top patio with an amazing view of San Juan Cove & the rest of the bay. You will have front row seats (with nothing blocking your view) each night for the Sea World fireworks spectacular while sitting on your roof top patio. It's a 2 1/2 block walk to the Pacific Ocean & Ocean Front Walk (3 minute walk at the most). Nothing bad to say about the inside of the condo, it has a fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed for two, a big bathroom, great shower, a couch & chair if you need it & a great view out the windows out to the bay. The bonus...morning coffee (or afternoon/evening beverage)on the rooftop patio watching all the action out on the bay, you won't need binoculars... you can also watch the action on the boardwalk which is right in front of the house but isn't the water views what you're coming for...Bbq some shrimp or a steak on the roof top BBQ while relaxing at the end of the day...rent a bicycle for a week, we parked our bikes in the single car garage which is also included (will fit a small to mid size car if needed)...I recommend bikes because that's the way to tour around & see the local sights such as The Wave House, Crystal Pier, & way too many more sites to mention...how about some great restaurants in the area, my two picks are: Olive's was great for breakfast or lunch & the Green Flash was great for an afternoon snack or a sunset dinner (don't forget your camera)...Any attractions such as Sea World, La Jolla, Seaport Village, etc. are easily accessible by bus & trolley which is how we got around, don't forget there's a garage if you rented a car...I won't plan the rest of your vacation for you but the one thing I can vouch for is that the accommodations provided here were everything we were looking for & then just a little bit more for good measure.

What a great place - perfect for getting away from it all. With the beach and bay so close you can watch the sun come up and sun set all in one day. Lovely having a roof terrace too for those evening drinks or morning coffee.
Would recommend Olive's cafe round the corner and amplified ales a short walk up the beach.
Nicole and the team at Pacific Sands could not have been more helpful. We had one small problem on arrival and it was sorted asap with no fuss. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect location close to the beach

We had the pleasure of staying at this unit with my 2 small boys (4 and 5) and wife for 2 weeks during this past summer. Already during reservations Nicole was very helpful and really made sure the unit will be a good fit for us - she was initially worried about it's small size for 4 people.
As we traveled a lot and in many places reted small apartments, we were fine, so the size of the unit was ok with us - but might be a bit tight for 3-4 people in general.
The best feature of this unit is its location and the rooftop deck ... we had breakfast up there every morning enjoying the sunrise, watched the daily fireworks at SeaWorld from there and had some very pleasant grilling sessions. The beach just a few blocks away was very close and we actually preferred the bay side due to its more quiet location.
Also, the design of the unit was in line with our preferences for modern as we don't like traditional decor. Of ourse, the unit is not perfect, it had its flaws - lack of central air, difficult parking, no usable freezer (for small amounts of ice cream it was still usable) - but the price/quality and above all its location and rooftop deck made it an excellent choice for us.
One thing for sure, when we plan to get back to San Diego again for a nice few weeks, this or one of the other units at this building will be our first choices to check. Thanks for the great stays guys :)
Great location at a great price

We had a great time at this bay front condo. It's perfect for a couple or couple with small child. It was very convenient that a high chair and pack and play was supplied. It helped travel that much lighter. The location was great and the views are awesome, especially from the rooftop. The furnishings are very modern and comfortable. You simply cannot get a better view and amenities for the price at one of the local resorts. Our only criticism would be the lack of air conditioning. Now 90% of the time you don't need ac in San Diego, but there happen to be a rare heat wave come through during our stay and temps got up to about 100 for a couple days. Even with the fan it got very uncomfortable inside for the majority of those couple days. If no ac isn't an issue for you, you can't go wrong with this condo. The management staff is very helpful and the location is great!

We had a wonderful stay in our cute little condo on Mission Bay. The views from our windows were awesome. We could even see the fireworks from SeaWorld every night from our window. A cute little restaurant (The Olive) was on the corner that we walked to every morning for breakfast and many other shops and cafes were within walking distance. It's just right for a couple or a couple with a small child. The manager, Nicole was very helpful with assisting us with all our needs. We would definitely recommend!
Studio for a couple

My boyfriend, our 7 months son and I stayed in the studio for a week on January. The biggest advantage of the place is certainly the location. You have wonderful views of the bay 24/7. And ocean is just minutes walk. It is a pity that we couldn't use the terrace because of weather. Finally, you have a parking lot in the garage.
There all the needed facilities in the studio. To my mind, it is a perfect getaway for a couple.
