We were looking for a location that would be close to the beach, clean, efficient, and not noisy. It was a chance to visit our daughter and her family who live in San Diego, our son and his family who live in Oregon, and we live in North Carolina. We looked on line and ended up in Mission Beach, looking at pictures of various houses and locations. The house we chose was beautiful, close to the beach, close to the waterway, close to volley ball nets, yet far enough away from the 'traffic' that we hoped it would be what we'd wished for - somewhere our family 'reunion' could take place, since all 3 families would be under the same roof.
The location and home were exactly what we'd hoped for - it could not have been nicer, cleaner, or more reasonable - considering the cost of putting 3 families up on hotels for the same number of days. We were able to see the water, the volley ball, the beach - all from our deck, and walk to whatever we wanted to see more closely. The location was superb - the home was excellent - the nights were quiet and serene. The home was full of new appliances - that all worked - and the parking garage underneath was an added benefit that I hadn't thought about before. Without that, parking might have been difficult. A grocery store was very close, as was Starbucks :)
If we have the chance to come back to San Diego, we'll definitely see if this home is available. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it!

Our family loved the location. It is right on the sand, but off the beach path, so you could sit out on the deck and enjoy the views, but it felt private and relaxing. We did a lot of site seeing and it was nice being close to do many attractions! This was the first time as a family(9people) we rented a home for vacation and have decided we will go this route from now on. Having the kitchen and grill to cookout in and have family dinners out on the deck was a pleasure.

We wanted a place close to where my son was getting married that would accomodate several adults. This may not have been the ideal place for 10 adults but it worked out just fine. It would probably be more ideal if there were several children in the group of 10 or 12. The living and dining area were great for sitting around talking and eating. The kitchen was very nice and easy to work in. We cooked several meals for a lot of people. I worked with Kendra and she was so helpful in everyway. She got back to me immediately whenever I had a question or concern. We will contact Blue Water Vacation Homes again if we have a need to rent a place in the future.

This house was a perfect place to spend a weekend. Our group of 11 was able to comfortably enjoy ourselves. We rented the bottom 2 floors which had 3 bedrooms and a pull out bed. Not only were the views from the balcony breath taking, but the inside of the house was just as amazing and very well kept. Every thing you needed, the house had (minus groceries and toilet paper lol)Management was super nice and easy to talk to when needed, and is alway a plus. This location is close to many bars, and restaurants, as well as the boardwalk. Our favorite food place while there, was hands down Robertos Mexican. Yum! with the No noise tolerance after 10pm, we thought it was going to be horrible, but even with that enforced we still enjoyed ourselves. You don't always need to be loud to have fun:) I would definitely recommend this rental to any one who is looking for a place in paradise. I will be back :)

We had a great experience with Bluewater, and couldn't have enjoyed the house more! The home is located on the quiet end of the beach, and is just steps from the water. The home was spacious, clean and very roomy for a vacation home. We will definitely stay there next summer!!!

Our week stay at Oasis was relaxing, enjoyable, and comfortable. The area is accommodating for all ages whether it be a day relaxing on the beach, volleyball, biking, food, walks, shopping, etc. Close enough yet not right on the boardwalk to make for a quiet, private beach house. The kids loved the hot tub. Something for everyone. The service from Bluewater was excellent.

Nice place - we rented the bottom 2 floors. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs (sleeps up to 5), with a bathroom for them all. Big kitchen & living room has a fold out couch. Downstairs master suite is huge with private porch w/ outdoor hot tub. Can exit beach from the porch. Nice big balcony upstairs too w/ grill - looks out at the bay and the beach. Practically across from the volleyball nets. A few minutes from the beach water (it's not directly on the bike path). Pretty quiet actually, especially for a holiday weekend! Management was super friendly + helpful too :)

The house was perfect. We had a group of 10 people that fit very comfortably. The location was great and the house had everything we needed for our weekend stay. All the kitchen appliances were new and worked great. I would definitely recommend staying here for any length of time. Only caveat is that the no noise rule after 10pm is strictly enforced.

Renting a house in most cases involves getting familiar with the amenities. Paul and Kendra were amazingly responsive to making sure we understood how certain of the amenities worked. Bluewater Vacation Homes also stocked our fridge with groceries before we arrived, which saved us some time. Great service from Bluewater. The neighborhood and boardwalk atmoshere is fun and friendly. Our family of 5 liked that this trip was not going to be super quiet/slow and that there was going to be plenty to do.

I took the family to San Diego, (Wife, daughter, son- in-law, 1 1/2 yr old grandson)to spend a week at the beach and visit some family in SD. Had a great time and the house was perfect for us in every way. On the sand, but off the boardwalk a bit for added privacy with all the convenineces. We liked being at the end of Mission beach a little away from the crowd, with a park near by and parking at the point for friends who came to visit. Most notably, we had some dishwasher problems, a leaking sink, etc. Management (Blue Water vacation homes) took care of problems within hours and very easy to deal with and very responsive. Loved the upper deck for cocktails and watching activity in the channel. The house was "beachy", comfortable, well equipped but not glamorous. We would definetly go again. Mission beach is a young crowd and can be a "party area". We were there in late April and could hear a couple of parties in the area on a Friday night. I'm sure the summer might be a little noisier but it's the Beach where people do that sort of thing.

We rented the larger 1/2 of this house for the weekend & it was great. There was a minor mix up regarding arrival times & we got there the same time the cleaning crew arrived, but they were in & out as quickly as they could & still did a decent job considering they were hurrying & trying to work around a large group staggering in the entire time they were there. The house had everything we need & everybody had a great time. If you want a house to throw a huge rowdy party look else where but if you want a nice house for a large group to hang out & play on the beach then this is it.
