We have stayed here a few times, just right for two people. The kitchen is narrow/one person as others have commented. For us, we love it. The wrap around porch and grill can't be beat, very reasonable price and Moab Lodging and Property Management are great; we have rented several places through them in Moab. Safe place to keep your bikes as well.
Quiet and Great Location

In town, but not in the middle of town. Very quiet with great views. Perfect for 2 people. Had what you need to make meals if you choose. Great king bed.

We enjoyed a week here doing lengthy day hikes in the parks, in the evening grilling something simple accompany a salad and a sampling of beers we picked up at the Moab Brewery. Perfect for two people, comfortable bed. Views and wrap around porch were great. Simply and adequately equipped, which was a good reminder of how cluttered our homes and lives can get. We would definitely return.

The overlook apartment was great!

We traveled to Moab after getting married in Colorado. The overlook apartment was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We loved the deck and the grill for supper! If you plan to walk to town, it is a little over a mile and there is not a sidewalk the whole way. If you are looking for a private retreat - the overlook apartment will meet all your needs!

My husband and I stayed at the outlook apartment for almost 1 week to participated in the Skinny Tire Cycling Festival. The apartment was very clean, well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The only slightly negative thing about the apartment was the kitcheN was only workable for 1 person but I didn't mind letting my husband do all the cooking. My favorite part of the apartment was the million dollar views. It sat up on a hill with a wrap around deck and windows on all sides which made it light and bright. We had views of the snow capped La Sal Mts, red rocks , and the town of Moab. When we return to Moab in the future I would want to make sure this apartment is available before purchasing my flight
Moab Overlook apartment

This apartment is an upper level of a yellowish beige two-story home, situated on a hill overlooking the east side of Moab, just off the main drag. It is at the top of Overlook Drive. It was easy to get to, but do not try to tow a trailer of any size to the apartment, as the lot/turn-around at the top is too small to maneuver. It's a flat walk between the drive and the door. It has a wide, total wrap-around porch which is nice to sit on (chairs and a BBQ grill provided). The apartment was clean, but there was a bad odor...mnaybe sewer gas or? We didn't complain, just aired it out and left a note for the owner/manager. The bathroom area (with shower) and kitchen can accomodate only one person at a time, but for a couple, it's not a problem. This apartment should definitely be limited to 2 persons. There was an excellent view of the mountains to the east and the red rim cliff to the south. Cable tv & microwave worked fine, bed was a king and very comfortable. Take note that there is not a baking oven, only a hotplate top stove (clearly stated b4 deposit that there was no oven). All in all, it was as advertised. The only thing I would confirm, is that the odor has been abated. That was the only negative, but it could be a deal breaker.

This apartment was the perfect location off of HWY 191 and 5 miles from arches National Park. The grill came in handy for an alternative to going out each night. It was comfortable and an nice touch to have a discount City Market card attached to the key for local groceries. Highly recommend it.
even better than what we expected from the photos and descriptio

It was very easy to make reservations and when we decided to prolong our stay on a Sunday evening we were able to get an actual person on the phone after navigating the answering system.
The house is located at the outskirt of town above the major artery through town, but set back enough so that it never bothered us. By chance it was just a stone throw away from "Red River adventures" the outfit we had chosen to do our outdoors activities with (and who were fantastic). The house works perfectly for 2 people. If someone is heavily into cooking it should be said that the kitchen is tiny and the refrigerator opens to the wrong side, so that one is squeezed in a little. But apart from that the kitchen offers all that is needed.
Living room is a good size and the big king size bed offer perfect rest for sore muscles and tired brains and bodies. There is so much to do in Moab!
The wrap around balcony is a very nice feature but in august a bit hot even in the later afternoon.
All in all this is a great deal for the money and I would go back without even thinking about alternatives.

Great space for single or couple. Large living area and small kitchen. Great porch for viewing the sunset and moon rise. Close to town. True home away from home

The Overlook apartment was everything advertised and more. It was clean, neat, comfortable and roomy. The small kitchen worked well and the bed was very comfortable. The view of the valley and town was spectacular and the apartment is only half a mile from the center of town but close to hiking and biking trails.
The property management company had everything set, ready and well organized for check-in, including excellent and clear directions to the unit. I highly recommend the Overlook apartment in Moab, UT

My daughter and I had a great time in the Moab area and found the rental unit very comfortable and within a short driving distance from our destinations including arches and Bryce national parks .

We stayed in this apartment in early March. The accomodations are perfect for a couple's retreat. The location is wonderful for visiting arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The kitchen is small, but equipped with everything you might need for light meal prepartions. We appreciated being on the edge of town close enough to get to restaurants, but not in the hub of downtown. We hope to visit Moab another time and would rent this apartment again.
nice accomodations, scenic views and away/private

Moab is congested in the spring. This house is cozy, nicely furnished, private and a mile out of town for being away from the hustle.
Comfortable and quiet

My partner and I stayed in the Overlook apartment for 5 nights between Christmas and New Years. We hiked all around the area which was beautiful. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable and the service to book was clear and easy. Nice location just on the edge of town so it was quiet with a nice view of Moab.
The kitchen is very compact -one person at a time only but we had everything we needed there. Could have used some coat hooks by the door as there isn't a closet but everything else was great.
It wasn't the season to sit on the large deck but I can imagine in other times it would be a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view.
We enjoyed our visit so much 2 years ago we returned again in 20

This apartment is for those who enjoy privacy, a view, and being a little outside of town. The apartment is clean, roomy, and has a well equipped kitchen. The wrap around balcony is a great place to relax after a busy day in the Moab area. The rental agency is very easy to work with.
Moab Utah summer vacation

The apartment/house was perfect - quiet and fairly isolated near edge of town but still close to town center since Moab is nicely compact, private - never saw another person - not even the owners, roomy, comfortable, felt like home. Were there in July but the evaporative air-con kept the house comfortable. Stayed 3 nights and would stay again in a heartbeat.
