Near the center of town but not much traffic noise. There was quite a bit of noise from the unit above us (chairs being moved across the kitchen floor, shrieking children), but otherwise quite nice.

We had a great stay at the Purple Sage #2 over Valentines Day weekend. It was clean and comfortable and a short walk to main st. The rental price is nearly the same as Moab hotels and the accommodations are much better. We will be back!

Great location with comfortable, yet affordable accomodations.

Purple Sage is located just a few blocks from the very center of the action in downtown Moab, making it extremely well located. There are restaurants within walking distance and from Moab, you can do all sorts of outdoorsy activities, including visiting two amazing national parks. The Purple Sage #2 provides you with a home-like atmosphere to return to at night. There's a small kitchen and a bedroom and bath, plus a living room large enough to house bunks beds, so a family of four could stay there very reasonably. I used the kitchen for breakfasts and packed my lunch for my outings, thus saving money on eating out. parking was easy, which is also important when you're packing up gear for your outings. Also, reserving it on line was a snap and they sent me all the pertinent information upfront, making checking in and out a breeze. I'd highly recommend the Purple Sage for your next trip to Moab!

We had a wonderful stay at Purple Sage #2. The kitchen had ample utensils, everything worked well. The place was tidy and comfortable and well decorated. We love the location as we are within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We'll be back next year! Lani Belisle Fort Myers, Florida

The apartment is very well located in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to Main street in Moab. It's spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Free Wi-fi, plenty of parking spots, great BBQ. Check in-check out went smooth and perfectly. Our stay rocked. We can't wait to come back soon. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
Very comfortable home from home

Situated in a quiet residential road and very well-placed for all the town's excellent amenities.
Stayed to visit the arches NP, which was so close we went often - Canyonlands too was just a short drive away.
The accommodation was basic but had everything we needed for three nights stay. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Efficient aC unit was much appreciated. There was no dishwasher but for two of us it did not matter and we enjoyed having a kitchen after two weeks of motel life! Would certainly use again if in the area.
quiet place with a garden

Nice and spacious place to stay a few days in Moab specially because of the garden,
with a BBQ provided. Not far from downtown but very quiet. Easy to park at the door.
When we arrived at the door, our name was mentionned on the door which was very useful to confirm us that we were arrived at the right place.
Walk to town - everything you need - nice and clean

Came in to town for a family reunion and this place was perfect. It had a little fully equipped kitchen for me to make my potluck item. Also nice to have a separate living room as my husband goes to bed early and I do not. Nothing fancy here, just everything you need while vacationing in an area that lures you outside!
Comfy, convenient, and well managed

Making and changing reservations was efficient and courteous. I had a need to receive an Express Mail package and the management company was very helpful.
The condo was clean, quiet, and nicely furnished. Access to BBQ grill and jacuzzi are great perks, as is the outdoor furniture.
Location is great if you want to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There is no decent view--for that try the golf course condos, though they are much more expensive and no guarantee that your unit will have a great view.

For the money, we were surprised to find living room/bedroom curtains that did not cover the window at ground level, so those barbecuing could peer in. There was soap, but no shampoo or coffee. The furniture was shabby. The xerox copy of our highlighted rental form was unreadable. We stayed at Staybridge suites in Denver for the same price and it was marvelous!

Converted 1BR apartment, nice condition in a nice neighborhood. Well maintained and good location.
I liked the arrangement better than staying in a traditional hotel.
Comforts of home!

Even though it is quite a while ago, (summer 2012) this wonderfull little hide away was for me quite simply a wonderfull experience and on top of that, to frame this unforgetable weekend so to speek, the wheather with a romantic breakefast in the garden made the perfect stay unic. I would do what ever it takes to come back as soon as I can to experience a weekend or a whole week in this unforgetable house in Moab, Utah named Pourple Sage #2
un très agréable moment de détente.

My husband & I stayed here while he was working on a movie being filmed in the beautiful Moab area so we were put up in the Purple Sage apartments for free. So I can't give a fair review on what the cost was compared to the apartment quality but I can tell you what I experienced. So the adjacency of the apartments to the main street of Moab with all the restaurants, shops & outdoor excursion companies are absolutely within walking distance. This was great for me since I was on my own a lot and prefer to walk than drive if I can. Purple Sage had a very homey feel to it. There was an outdoor jacuzzi, BBQ & patio set all under some very large and shadey trees which was great in the summer heat. The inside of ours and our friends apartment were pretty outdated. Nothing has really been done to these places since the 60's so if you're looking for new and modern this isn't your place. There was a maid who came once every few days to re-stock the toilet paper, towels and clean if you wanted it. There was a kitchenette with a full fridge, stove & oven which made eating in pretty convenient. I did kill two cockroach looking beetle things in the kitchen which was pretty gross. The bed was actually comfortable which was surprising and the tv in the bedroom and living room were pretty outdated but we weren't there to sit and watch tv. The proximity of these apartments to all of the State Parks and outdoor activities was great. Centrally located, nothing was too far. Not sure what other accomodations there are in Moab. The town is not a high dollar town and with the exception of one or two expensive resorts far out from the town in Moab you are pretty stuck with the outdated rentals and hotels. Not many options. Response from Moab Lodging and Property Management - 02/28/2013
We were happy to host quite a few of the movie crews during 2012. Most of our guests feel that Purple Sage is a great value. It provides a full kitchen, and living room, and is priced lower than most hotels in town. It's important to point out that you stayed for free, and marked 0 stars for value. If not for this fact, this would be a 3.5 to 4 star review. I'm glad you enjoyed the great location, and we able to spend an extended amount of time in Moab. If you are ever planning a return trip to the area, we'd love to host you in one of our high end properties to give you a taste of what else we can offer.

Worked great for us. Nice to have a kitchen available and be close enough to walk to town. We'll stay here again.
