      The perfect base

Left on 05/03/2013 for a stay in April 2013

We stayed in this unit for 2 nights in april with 4 adults and 2 small children. It was the perfect base for exploring Moab, Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park. Usually, I think photos make a place look nicer than it is, but this condo is actually much nicer than the photos indicate. The whole place was clean, large, tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and a well-outfitted kitchen. There are great views from nearly all the windows. The patio area is very nice. My parents and kids loved the spa tub in the master bath. Especially my parents after we made them hike a bit further than they are accustomed to! We went outside at night and were able to enjoy the amazing night sky. Not as dark as it is in the parks, but definitely better than in town.

The drive into town is pretty easy, it is barely south of town, and definitely worth it to have a 3 bedroom condo for just a little more than the price of a motel room in town. Having a full-size refrigerator and freezer was very helpful, as we like to pack a cooler full and go for the day into the parks. Full-size washer and dryer could also come in handy. We go to Moab a few times a year, and I hope to stay in this same unit again when we go back.

The process for getting into the condo was very easy, and the list of things to do to clean up when leaving was very reasonable (take out trash, clean the dishes). I liked that we were able to reserve online, and the maps and directions sent were easy to use.

There really isn't anything to complain about- the only things I would say is with the tile flooring and the vaulted ceiling, sound carries kind of strangely in the living room, which made it moderately difficult for my parents with hearing problems to hear conversations. The TVs were tube Tvs- which we did not care about at all because we were enjoying the area. And, we had 6 people but only 5 washclothes. That is it- everything else was awesome. Truly loved it.
