Our group has been going to Moab for 20 years and when we found desert gardens 10 years ago it changed our experience forever. If you ever stay at any hotel on the main drag (191) you will hear the tractor trucks shifting gears all night long.
Dg has an half acre grassed and fenced yard for your bikes and awesome privacy. We rent all three units for four days and sponsor a huge BBQ dinner for our aspen friends and they always comment how great DG is
Every year the owners add something new or change something to keep these 1970's unit current. Enjoy!!!

I stay here at least once a year for business. The location is off main street where it gets pretty loud on occasion. Large trees offer shade and an opportunity to kick back in a hammock. It's like getting to stay at a friend's condo! The full kitchen and outdoor grill saves me from having to eat out for every meal.
Nice accomodations, loved the hot tub, could have been a little c

Lovely location, nice yard. The kitchen towels were clean but had wash rot and were very smelly. I thought maybe some more family friendly dishware would have been great. Very cozy and inviting. Enjoyed the large yard and location.
Private and spacious, close to everything yet off the main road

We really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were very clean and up to date. We felt comfortable and able to relax as if we were at home. We especially enjoyed the large yard, clean hot tub, and ease of access to our car in the parking area. Having a full kitchen and separate living area made it easy for everyone to have their own space. Although there were others renting the adjoining apartment, we never heard a sound. This was the perfect place for us. We will recommend it to others and hope to come back soon to enjoy it again for ourselves. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, convenient to town and and good for our needs. We biked or hiked every day so we needed a place to cook meals and enough space to decompress in the evening. Met our needs. Enjoyed the yard.

Comfortable and affordable with most of the conveniences of home. Had to replace the batteries in the wall clock and the smoke/CO detector. Also was not able to get the gas fireplace to ignite. As it was relatively warm, there was no need to call for help.

Our group came to Moab for the Folk Fest and were looking for a location in town so we could walk to the concerts. This place was perfect. We rented both sides of the duplex. It was so quiet - no traffic noise at all. Everything was so clean, well kept, well stocked. We loved the yard, too! Big trees, BBQ grill, hammock, and great fall leaves. So much better than a hotel for hanging out as a group. We'll be back!
We had a wonderful time staying at your lodge.

The place is clean and a perfect location. We feel like home. After a long hike we used your jacuzzi to help ease muscle tension. We are so lucky that we had the perfect weather. This lodge is highly recommended.

We received all necessary informations regarding Desert Gardens #1 after booking and furthermore informations were inside the vacation rental (documents on the table). But we didn´t find the descripted key box.
The flat had 3 rooms (2 bed rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom). The flat was very clean (besides the Windows). The flat was well equipted (2 TV´s, big fridge etc.).
The flat was in a quiet area, but not too far away from the mainstreet with all the Restaurants and Shops.
We liked the very clean flat and it feeled like at home :). We will stay there again.
Simple house, nice garden

We stayed a week in Desert Garden 1. The house itself was a bit outdated and not so clean when we arrived and the kitcheninventory lacked some stuff. But MPM was very willing to solve problems where possible. After a long day of hiking it was pleasant to sit in the garden with imposant trees and enjoy the shades they gave.
Master bed very hard

Other than the fact that the master bed was very hard, we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is old but very clean. Was very surprised by how clean the spa was, but a little to cold (they keep it at 100% and with the jets going it quickly cools down). But the kids really enjoyed it. Great location and very nice cleaning staff.
Cool yard to relax in!

I stayed in cottage #2 a few years back and always wanted to use this cottage again. Sorry to say that cottage #1 was not quite as cute. We did detect an odor in the kitchen and wondered if there was rotten food either under the fridge or stove.
Not being familiar with swamp coolers we did not discover the directions on the board in the kitchen until the last day. I suggest they post something by the opening in the livingroom. The hot tub and yard were fantastic as was the location. The kitchen cabinets could use some attention as the drawers were hard to open.

Although a very cold week in Moab- we were able to turn the heat on and enjoy the Dessert Gradens #1. We have stayed there before and the beds were much better than #3. The place was clean and quiet.

Desert Gardens is a great and affordable alternative to the usual motel/hotel fare. The entire "apartment" was clean and comfortable. It is located just far enough off Main St. to give a completely different Moab experience. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking needs.
It was one of the best lodging experiences we've had in Moab over our 20 years+ of visiting!

We had a great holiday in Moab. Loved staying in a quiet home. The home was quiet and comfortable. The home was nicely decorated and nice and warm. We would stay again.
