What Past Guests Are Saying
Good location, interesting accomodation
The spiral staircase was a worry for the 10 month old baby and others actually in case of banging heads off sharp edges.
It was a good location for us as we were visiting family in Glasgow Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The mine was a very interesting activity. It was relevant ataying in an original miners cottage.

We did enjoy our stay very much
The cottage was very nice and cosy. There were a lot of posibilities for daytrips in the area.
Especially we enjoyed the quiteness and the beautyfull countryside.
Great Little Cottage in Fabulous location.
We stayed at the cottage over the Easter week-end. The location is fantastic and we spent one whole day just in Wahlockhead itself, riding the little railway, looking around the heritage site and even panning for gold. The weather was so good we even had a picnic beside the River Clyde We did have a little bit of a tussle with the getting the oven to work, could not find any instructions but did manage to in the end, also one of the sofa's is a little uncomfortable but overall a great little cottage in a fabulous location.
What a great location for a holiday, although our walking experience was limited due to the buggy! Warm accomodation and everything you could need.
Quiet village with lovely views and long walks all around.Cottage okay for a homebase
