The house is comfortably furnished in a traditional style with a true farmhouse feel and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. It boasts many original features and is quirky in design to offer a spacious family holiday home. There is a conservatory which enjoys outstanding views onto the garden and the fields beyond. The welcome pack was much appriciated. The house was indeed a gem, warm, comfortable. The location and the garden were stunning.
Moffat is a pretty town with good pubs and eating places.
The last two miles of road from Moffat was really bad. Obviously no fault of the owners of the cottage. The council had scaped out the potholes but not repaired them and they were dangerous and potentially car damaging. The road through the farm before the house was also very poor.
One would hope the roads have been repaired now.
Could not fault the property as a holiday rental. -

Cottage was amazing, loved the living room with the large fireplace and comfy settees- so welcoming. Big family kitchen with everything you could possibly need and more. Garden was a huge plus giving dogs & kids alike a huge amount of freedom. Excellent service from the owner, needed to contact them on arrival with a query and they resolved the issue instantly. Located 5 miles outside of Moffatt, very rural but perfect if you want to get away from it all. Short & long walks on your doorstep if wanted. Wonderful family weekend in a beautiful cottage and fantastic location, would certainly go back

We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for a week with our extended family and dog. Hidden away, yet easily accessible, we were thrilled when we spotted "our" holiday house at the end of a panoramic glen. The house was immaculate but homely, with all mod cons. The beds, rooms and loos/ensuites were perfect for a comfortable stay. We were coseypie in the evenings with the log burner. The kids and the dog had a ball with lots of hillwalks and wanders in Moffat. Highly recommended, so much so I have been dreaming about this little piece of paradise for weeks.
