We spent a week at Casa Lucciola this summer and wished it could have been longer!
Beautiful house, plenty of room for two families, simply stunning location, and all you needed to have a totally relaxing stay.
The pool was the main attraction (obviously - with 4 kids under 7!) but the kitchen was exceedingly well equipped (4 foodies well and truly tested that!), bathrooms were luxurious and beds very comfortable.
The housekeeper - Maja was amazing and extremely helpful and full of good recommendations!
The local town of Mogliano had everything we needed in food supplies, but there are only two restaurants which get very booked up! Families with young children bear this in mind unless you are happy to travel.
Please note - no air-conditioning or ceiling fans - we had heatwave week and struggled at night!
Overall the anderson family have a very luxurious house in a very beautiful location - we have recommended to all our friends, as we had such an easy fuss free holiday!
From the first contact with Zoe anderson I knew we choose well. The web site provided accurate descriptions of the house and area but until you get there you don't know how beautiful it is. Casa Lucciola was the perfect place to have our family vacation. It suited all generations from our 1 year old grandson on, we had preteens and teens too.
The house is fully equipped and the manager makes sure all is taken care of including a twice weekly pool cleaning.
The area is rural but everything you could need is within 30 -40 mins. drive, including some beautiful beaches.
Can't wait to go back!

Everything was just perfect!
The house was just as beautiful, tastefully furnished and well equipped as promised. The big garden was great for barbecuing, al fresco dining, relaxing in the hammocks, sunbathing... - and the pool was a bliss! The children really enjoyed the huge trampoline and all the toys and games provided. Special thanks for Maya for all assistance!
Casa Lucciola delivered 100% of what was promised! We were six adults and six kids, and fit nicely. The house was clean, stylish and well equipped with plenty of room. Pool and trampoline were great with the kids. Practical arrangements were a breeze. The surroundings are peaceful, rural style. Lucciola is situated some kilometers from a small town with shops - you need a car to do shopping of any kind.

Our stay at Casa Lucciola was an unforgettable holiday for our whole family. We were 10 people, 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of space for all of us, each couple and the kids had separate rooms and bathrooms.
The house is perfectly well kept and maintained by a local woman (Maja) who really cares about the guests.
There is fresh bedsheets and towels all the time, the pool is perfectly well kept and the area around the house is brilliant if one likes farmes and agroturismo.
Its half an hour driving to the seaside.
So all in all its a 5 star holiday.

We stayed two families, grandmother and friends together in Casa L. We had a lovely time and we are longing to return again. Our tip for your stay is to book at least a week and a ½. We stayed for one week and it was not quite enough...
The house is beautifully restaurated and the garden is just the right size for swims in the pool, soccer or just rumbling around! The town of Mogliano is very pretty and can accomodate your basic needs of groceries, fresh pasta, newly baked bread and supplies from the butcher. Try Café Angel, the signora behind the counter makes a delicious cappuccino! If we have any complaints at all it would be about the beds, not all of them have the additional beddings, this makes them a bit hard and lumpy so a tip to the lovely owners would be to put out the extra cash and buy some simlpe bedmattresses from Ikea...;) Read more
Delighted to hear that you all had a lovely stay at Casa Lucciola and thank you for taking the time to review the house.
Your feedback is really important and we take guest comments very seriously. Its such a shame you didn't mention your bed during your stay as every bed should be fitted with a soft mattress cover. We may have been able to supply you with an extra one as we buy new ones every year. Please don't be afraid to ask!

We spent a week in this fantastic, extremely well-equipped villa in July and we can highly recommend it. It's set in really beautiful surroundings, the garden is huge and well kept and pool is just perfect. Our 4 kids spent most of the week in there. We were two families there together and we had our bedrooms on different floors which was really a bonus we hadn't expected. We can't think of anything to complain about and we have already had requests from friends who want to go there next year.

This is a wonderful house in a private spot a few minutes from the elegant town of Mogliano - super stylish decor with families in mind, Casa Lucciola has a really well stocked kitchen, toy cupboard and games library, lovely big pool and lots of flat garden for running around. Our 3 kids loved it - next time we'll go with friends as its got lots of space for 10 and endless bathrooms. The owners provide some really throughtful and accurate recommendations to eat and play which we followed slavishly! La Marche is a beautiful region yet relatively undiscovered - I would definately recommend staying here.

We were two families with in total 3 kids spending a beautiful week in this great house. The setting is stunning with rolling hills with sunflower and vines everywhere you look. A private place, yet very easy drive to the small villages in the area, the sea (20 min drive) and all the outlets of italian designer brands. The villa was very well equipped and we spend some really nice evenings over long dinners in the garden after the kids had fallen asleep. A truly great place to stay with 4 great bedrooms, huge kitchen. a cozy livingroom and a nice pool to cool of in if hanging out by the house a warm day. We could really recommend this place!

Our first proper holiday with our 2 year old did not disappoint thanks to this gorgeous house and grounds. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break; pool, gardens, hammocks, large kitchen and ample space for 2 loud families (4 bathrooms!) including, thankfully, a huge TV and DVD for when you just need that break from the kids! The area could not be more perfect - beautiful rolling hills and farmland and the nearby local town (5minutes drive) was well stocked, including a weekly market, restaurants, a few amusing local bars and the "not to be missed” ice-cream parlor (I still dream of the hazelnut) plus plenty of other local fayre to be consumed, Thanks Casa Lucciola, we shall be back x
Within 15 mins of the areoplane wheels hitting the tarmac we were in our hire car for the 45 min drive to what turned out to be a stunning converted farm house. The house is very spacious with all mod cons and makes you imeadiately feel at home. The house is set in an acre of garden with mature wallnut and fig trees looking out onto very hilly farmland, with field full of sunflowers.
This area of italy is full of very intersting historic hill top hamlets, ideal for taking in the delights of rural italy. But if you also up for a bit of action then a trip to the local Siberlini mountains is a must!

We had the most amazing holiday at Casa Lucciola in august 2010. The house is like home from home and has been very well thought out to cover a wide age range with lots to do, whether it be lazing by the pool, snoozing in the hammocks, swinging on the swing, eating and drinking at the large kitchen or terrace table...even a DVD day with the vast selection available...there really is something for everyone. We went with our two children (11 and 2) and friends who also have a two year old and we all had a fab time. The owners manual gives plenty of ideas of things to do in the local area...our favourite recommendations - Zanzibar Ice Cream and Pizza!! We would definitely go back to this charming farmhouse.

This house has everything. Tastfully decorated, a great pool, a setting you'll never want to leave and with a beach only a short drive away, it's simply the perfect location for a great family and friends break
