This studio cottage is located in the village of Afonwen near to Mold in North Wales and sleeps two people. Watermill Studio Cottage is a detached studio cottage in the grounds of the owner's home, near to the small village of Afonwen in North Wales. The cottage is ideal for a couple as it is all open plan and contains a double bed, a fitted kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area as well as a shower room. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Excellent property and location. Owners could not have been more friendly or helpful although there were 'not in your face' it was a comfort to know if we needed anything they were ready and willing to help.
Very clean and not a 'whiff' of dogs anywhere.
A real home from home.
Lovely safe secure dog walk on the door step with a stream which is all on the flat.
Local craft centre and pub within walking distance. The local pub was very welcoming. our dog slept most of the night on the windowsill (the locals loved them) food great and good value for money.
Can't wait to return (we already have our next trip booked) -

After a long journey we arrived to find our wonderfully happy, welcoming hostess and all our stress faded away. From then on through our holiday our hosts were helpful and friendly. We had the whole - very extensive - garden to ourselves all day so if we did'nt want to go out we could relax and take walks in the lovely grounds.
The bungalow was pleasant and in a secluded niche away from the hustle and bustle of the world. There was however, many pubs and places for meals in the near neighbourhood and also pleasant towns for shopping. A cathedral is a short drive away where one can listen to organ recitals and choir practices - excellent singing.
There was nothing to dislike as we enjoyed a soothing rejuvinating break.

Had a lovely week at Watermill Cottage at the end of May this was one of the rare sunny weeks! The owners are lovely people they are very friendy and nothing was too much trouble. A bottle of wine was awaiting our arrival for a nice personal touch. Both our dogs were made to feel very welcome too. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything you need, outside you have your own bit of land leading to the river, excellent for the dogs as were the walks around the area, good location for walks in the country and trips to the beach. Only thing I didnt like was being main meal of the gnats!

Watermill cottage was everything we wished for.
Oners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
We took our westies Casper and Mable with us and they loved the stream by the side of the cottage and all the wild life.
Weather was raining most of the time but this did not spoil anything
Would recommend this cottage to anyone that wants a small cottage but includes everthing you would get in a larger one, peace quiet, wild life, beautiful walks. -

on arrival we were met by owners of cottage , she was very friendly and made us very welcome . The cottage was very clean we had everything we needed for comfortable stay . The location was in a lovely romantic setting , would highly reccommend friends and family to book up a holiday at Watermill Cottage .
