This is the perfect place for a relaxing sun holiday that can be combined with different safari's.
Only 1 min. walking to the beautiful beach of Diani/Galu Beach.
The compound is private, surrounded and you find it in a very quiet, secure area.
The private swimming pool on the compound is daily maintained.
All staff is well trained confirm European standards.
Every house is rented out with own cook (included). Food and drinks you have to buy yourself, but our caretaker and our staff will help and assist you on that with pleasure.

We had a wonderful 8 night stay. Short walk to beach, wonderful chef, cafe across the road, clean facilities and pool, comfortable beds, daily housekeeping. Host was so helpful in all our planning and answering all our questions. No wi-fi internet, so bring a dongle if needed.

Not really sure where to start with this review.
We wanted somewhere quiet and realxing to stay and certainly got that.
The staff are amazing - can't speak highly enough about any of them. Even staff not 'servicing' our villa always had a cheery greeting. Special thanks though to ali and Saidi - great guys. There when you need them but definitley recognise it is your holiday and they work hard to cater for your specific needs without being 'in your face'.
The villa consisted of outside sitting and dining area, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and small but perfectly adequate kitchen - that you hardly need to enter due to the services of a cook 6 days a week.You prrovide the food - it is cooked for you. The cook also came shopping with us to make sure we had everything we needed.
A small shop is done at request for your arrival to cover the first day or so - very handy.
The Villa sits within extremely well kept grounds with 3 other villas and a pool and barbecue area - stunning.
Short walk to the local beach which is beautiful but be aware of the beach boys - not too many and you can have a bit of banter with them.
Staff also helped with a 2 day safari booking.
We wanted to relax an we did just that - maybe too much at times:)!
Thank you all at Ebony Vills for a fantastic stay. Hope to return one day as we feel we have made new firends in the staff. -

The 5 of us (kids aged 13-11-11) stayed for 12 days in Villa Sien. The house is big, very nicely furnished and situated in a beautifu small private compound together with 3 other villa's. Staff is very professional and helpful, from the cook to the gardener to the supervisor, and they have the right balance between being available withoud invading. Swimming pool is very clean and inviting for a dive at all times of the day. Very resoanble prices for the type of house and services you get.
Trudi, the owner, is very helpful both during the plainng and preparation phase and also once you arrive with tips on what to do (and what not do), local transport to use, restuarants and bars to go to, excursions to make.
Long white sandy beaches of Galu (and clean warm sea) at 5 min. walking.
Don't hesitate to go to ebony so you can Feelw hat living in paradise means! -

We have been here for two times and when we can go again, we go again.
It is such a beautiful place with a great crew.
The only thing you have to do is; relax. The others things will be done...cooking, cleaning, everything. You stay in nice houses with a pool near to you and you can enjoy more than you can imagine. The best place on earth for us.
Also our youngest son (10 years) enjoyed it very much, near to the beach, clean, safe and a very lovely hostess (Trudi). She will help you with every question. Oh i get homesick when i think about this place. If you have the possibility to go; go!! -

If you want to stay in a quiet typical african house, wonderful garden with swimming pool, close to the beach, close to local shops you will enjoy villa Ebony !
We stayed with our 10 years old children in February, and my husband has health problems ; in fact we visited a reserve nearby and we saw many animals, we also met a masai village close to Monbassa, old town Monbassa, Funzi island... we enjoy to visit not too far from the villa and having rest at the villa.
Our cooker was wonderful and the employes very nice. The villa is cleaned daily as well as the swimming pool.
Trudi the owner helps you before the stay and during the stay, Thank you ! (Acuna pesa on the beach !)
We do recommend this place for families, couples, seniors and also shared with friends !

Essex - UKEbony Villa's Great

I would strongly recommend this destination, the villas and the staff were great. The only problem is that it is a little far away from the shops, although you can hire a car. The distance between Galu Beach - Diane Beach to North Mombasa is far and takes about 3 hours by car.
For a honeymoon couple you could not wish for better. It is very quiet and peaceful not noisy like North Mombasa.
Go for it - you will oove it.
