Our house is located near Monforte d'Alba, one of the most famous municipalities in the Langhe, an area where the world famous Barolo wine has bee made for centuries. Lange has traditionally been a must-see for every visitor to the Piedmont. With this unique topography and the ability of its inhabitants to elevate eating and drinking to high art, it guarantees a very special experience.

There are 3 golf courses within a 30 km radius. The closest (9-hole course) is just a 5 minute drive from our hous. For hikrs: there are many trails in the entire Lange region. Piedmont, especially the Langhe region are extremely well-known as the Mecca for cyclist.
In less than an hour you will have reached the capital of Piedmont, Turin. How about a day at the ocean? Savona in Liguria is only 1 hour avay, a picturesque town with beautiful scenery. A particulary special event is always a visit to one of the numerous antique markets. The most famous takes place in Cherasco twice a year, the whole village acts as a backdrop with over 600 vendors displaying their wares.

Die Wohnung bietet einfach alles. Die atemberaubende aussicht auf die Umgebung bis hin zu den französischen und schweizerischen alpen ist ein absoluter Höhepunkt. Der Name Milleluci kommt nicht von ungefähr, in der Nacht leuchten abertausende von Lichter und vermitteln eine wunderbare Stimmung. Die Einrichtung ist Top, mit allen annehmlichkeiten inkl. Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine. Die Terrasse mit Liegestühlen und Pool laden zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein. Das angebot an guten Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung ist sehr vielseitig. Das liebenswürdige Hauseigentümerpaar hilft mit Rat und Tat. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in dieser Wohnung und sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

We recently returned from a trip to the Piedmont region of Italy, where we stayed in this terrific apartment in Monforte d'Alba. The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures, with an amazing view of vineyards, mountains and many hilltop towns. The location is perfect. It's in the heart of the Barolo wine region and an easy drive to asti, Turin and many other towns and sights. Monforte is lovely, with a couple of markets and some really wonerful restaurants. Our hosts, Mauro and Verena , were helpful and helped to make our stay comfortable. We would highly recommend this apartment, and will definitely return..

Perched on top of a hill, 3 km from Monforte d'Alba in the centre of the world-famous Barolo wine region, Milleluci's two self-catering apartments offer breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and vineyards - a haven of peace in an idyllic setting.
The 150 year old traditional farm house and adjacent stable have recently been lovingly restored by the owners and great care was taken to conserve the original character and charm of the building. The stable has been converted into two beautifully appointed, spacious apartments, each with its own terrace and unsurpassed views.
For smaller groups, a spacious en suite double bedroom with its own separate entrance can additionally be rented.
A large terrace with sun loungers and a rimflow, solar heated infinity pool that melts into the soft green landscape behind, add to the comfort and tranquility of this beautiful property.
The famous and picturesque wine-making villages of Barolo, la Morra and Barbaresco as well as many excellent restaurants are within a few kilometers.
The charming owners, Mauro, a food and wine connoisseur and Verena, an artist, were extremely helpful in assisting with the planning of excursions and with making bookings for restaurants and wine-tastings. They speak Italian, German, French and English.
